NON-Quidditch flying

"Umm." think about something and fast, was the only thing that went through Kelly's mind. She flew to his other side, round him "I don't know, do you see any other mistakes, I might be making?" she looked deep in his eyes "Feel free to correct me, I don't mind." She made another turn from behind him, coming back to his side "or maybe want a little race or something? Whatever, just to be up in the air with you" Kelly blinked, flew a bit ahead and turned to face him. She wanted to let him think a little.

This was the most confused Sam had ever been in his life. Not even his exams confused him this much. He turned to Kelly and smiled, again trying to cover his confusion.
"I would say we can race, but are you aware, I'm sitting astride the newest Firebolt. Not a very fair race." he looked at her closer, and realised she had swapped her hands again. "Hang on," he said, flying to her side again and fixing her hands. "Don't swap them, that's what causes people to fall. Just to be up in the air with me? What do you mean by that, Kelly?" he asked softly. Women are bloody confusing he thought

Kelly enjoyed the feeling of Sam's hands touching hers. Him being so close by her side, their knees touched together. He was not supposed to be aware ot that. Kelly shook it off herself "Well, can't we do something else up here. Up here I'm free. No Caitlin, no Danika, nothing. Freedom. And who would be better to share it with, then you. I think you know what I mean. I saw it in your eyes the minute you pushed yourself off the ground" Kelly took a deep breath and continued "Yes, I can really ride a broom and yes I've faked all the mistakes so far. Bella was right. But I needed you up here, to see you in your own place you see. Up here you're not the person you are on the ground" she took another breath "besides, I like the way your touches make me feel" after said that, she flew away from him. Stopped and let him stare at her back. "You're such an idiot, Kelly!" she said under her breath.

Sam sighed. Oh dear He stared confused at her back. Was he letting off some sort of vibe that was drawing more girls then usual. Kelly was a good looking girl, and she had the right alliances. Not that that really mattered. He was with Caitlin for god sake. He stayed where he was, his arms no longer crossed over his chest but sitting on his thighs. He stared at her back for a little longer then decided on something.
"Kelly," he said. "Come here, love."

When Sam called her, Kelly shivered. It stung her in the heart, that he would call her love. Then she remembered their conversation at the Gryffindor table, when she told him not to call her that. It made her laugh. But she made herself serious, when turning around and flying back to Sam's side. "Usually I don't come by call, but it better be important" she smirked at him. All she could think about, was wanting him to touch her hand.

Sam smiled slightly as she turned and flew towards him. He laughed softly when she spoke, the normal Kelly back in front of him. He flew up next to her, so they were facing each other, his left leg touching her right. "I would say this is important," he said softly before cupping the back of her head and presing his lips to hers.

Kelly was shocked. He just came and kissed her and at that moment, she had nothing against it. She kissed him back with passion, before pushing him away. "What exactly was that?" she looked at him with a fire burning in her eyes. "Aren't you with Caitlin. And Bella?" Kelly wanted to make it clear, she had no intention in becoming someone third. At the same time, she was trying to tell herself, that it meant nothing and that she didn't like it. She kept staring at his eyes and felt such a pull, that it was extremely hard to resist.

Sam was surprised she kissed him back and didn't pull back straight away, so he wasn't surprised when she pushed him, causing him to almost fall of his broom. "Caitlin is an image thing, being with her is like being with royalty, and if I broke up with her, I would either be maimed or killed. Bella, well, I don't know what Bella is." he said. He knew exactly what Bella was, but wasn't going to say it to Kelly. He stroked her arm softly.

"Don't believe him, don't believe him!" said a little voice in Kelly's head when Sam touched her hand. "I know that" she mumbled to herself. Then she turned to Sam "Sorry, I almost knocked you off your broom" she didn't look at him though. "It's hard to believe that you don't know what Bella is. I know a little about you two and I'm not an idiot" she said fighting with the little voice inside her head, which said that she was a complete idiot. "It was wrong of me to think that we could have something. It's ridiculous. I'd better go." She took her broom down and got off. She tried hard to fight the urge of falling into his arms. Though she couldn't help looking up at him and asking "Are you coming too, or are you going to stay here?"

Sam sat in the air stunned for a moment before her voice bought him back to reality. He flew back to the ground and got off his broom, running and wrapping a hand around her arm. "Kelly, I don't understand. Why did you bring me out here?" he asked, not letting go of her arm.

Kelly felt Sam grab her hand. She felt shivers running up and drown her. She was hoping Sam didn't feel it. She heard his voice so close, she could feel his breath on her neck. She turned to him and found herself standing too close to him. She looked in his eyes "I want to hurt Caitlin. I wanted to do it through you. Now I don't want to do it anymore. I can't fall for you or I'll hurt Bella more." she lowered her eyes, but couldn't resist the temptation. She looked back up again and leaned closer to whisper in his ear "I'm sorry" , pulled away and placed her lips softly on his.

Sam sighed heavily as she spoke. "Kelly. Bella will understand." he said quietly, not knowing whether she would hear him or not. "Don't be," he whispered back. He cupped the back of her head and pressed their lips harder together.

Kelly closed her eyes and totally forgot herself in that kiss. She softly wrapped her arms around Sam and moved even more closer to him. He was so gentle and caring. She wanted this moment to never end. Suddenly she opened her eyes and pulled herself fast away. "No, she won't understand. I need her to be there for me. She'll start to hate me, if she'll find out I kissed you. I'll be seeing you sometime later. I need to figure myself out." She started to walk away, then turned around, gave him another fast kiss and ran to the castle.

Sam slid an arm around her waist and pulled her closer. When she broke away, he was utterly confused. Girls didn't normally do that. "Kelly," he said to her retreating back as she ran back up to the castle after one more swift kiss. He was so confused. He walked down to the broomshed to put away his precious Firebolt then walked back up to the castle, all the while shaking his head in disbelief.

Isabella walked onto the pitch with her broom in one hand and a practice Quaffle, and Bludger in her other. She pointed her wand at the Bludger and charmed it to act like a regular Bludger, but with a protective shield around it to stop herself from getting hurt. Pushing off from the ground she began to go through a series of tricks with the Quaffle, dodging the Bludger before shooting it throught the hoops. She smiled, knowing that she'd be out here for a while.
