"I'm guessing you won't have any problem at all keeping an eye on the fire, won't you?" Caterina was speaking to both Danika and Amelina, "Anyway, besides what wavering flames, spiral flames, sparks and extinction mean, a good omen is simply seen when the fire remains the same coloring and the flames are a little brisk; a bad omen, well, you may see that if the flames turn darker and the fire is hard to kindle" she said, considering they didn't need much before they started to interpret what each of them will see in their fire.
"If anyone wants to volunteer, go ahead, just grab a handful of this salt..." she said, gesturing to a bag that was a little away from the fire, "...take a deep breath, and throw the salt into the fire, thinking about whatever you feel you need some sort of guidance" she smiled, it was the correct word, guidance.
"Remember to check for the signs I specified previously, and the color the flames take at the first contact of the salt...yes, all the colors in the rainbow may appear, just not all of them at once" she instructed, and sat by a lodge, looking firstly at the lake and then at the students, "Just go ahead, and ask me if you have some sort of difficulties with this" Caterina said, nodding.

She nodded, a smile on her features. Amelina glanced at her Professor. What didn't she need guidance in. She took some salt and slowly returned to her place wondering idly. A few particles fell from her hand, dim colour erupting from them. She thought for a second and then let it drop into the flames. They seemed to go yellow and red first and then darkened to a purple. She stepped back a little puzzled. So first a good omen and then something bad?. She frowned and then sat back down, her mind still wondering about the flames.

Caterina nodded as Amelina volunteer and noticed the time got a little out of hand, if she does another out-of-the-classroon lesson, she'll make sure she has the time right, so no one will get to another class late.
"Okay, perfect, now, I'm going to end this lesson right here, but feel free to stay around. For homework I'll like you to do what Amelina just did and owl it to me with your interpretations. Class dismissed" she said, as she gathered her things around and make her way towards the castle.

"Yes Professor,"Bella said looking puzzled at Mel's flames. She wrote down the homework on a piece of a parchment and then put it into her bag. "I'll see you later Professor," she said standing up and brushing the sand off of her.
ooc: Oh I hope you are feeling better soon!
