"Wow...I almost believed you there" She said, laughing.
"Aw stop it Bella. It's fine...don't worry about it" She said a little harsher than intended. "Ok! It's a deal" She said, softly.
"I'm going to win you know Isabella" She said, using her full name. "Sam is going to be totally dumstruck as to where his italian beauty is" She said cheekily.
"No? I'm a Gryffindor remember silly. I have to sit at my table. Remember that?" She grinned and sprinted off after her.

Alex walked down to the forbidden forest smiling, he sat down against a nearby tree so he could just sit and think about everything that had been happening.

She circled the edge of the forest debating silently whether to sit down or keep walking. Her placed her broom under her arm, but after several seconds she felt it become uncomfortable so she moved it readjusting the handle so it was further forward. She rounded the edge of the forest, gasping slightly as she saw Alex. Again the indecision came to her like a wave, sit with him or value being alone. She grimaced and moved past him softly stepping over his feet lightly she sat down next to his side.
"Hey" She said softly, repositioning herself so she was half-facing him. "You 'kay?" She murmured.

Alex saw half way through a thought about what he should do to with Mel when she appeared in front of him. When a smile and turned to face her sitting right next to him, "hey" he said happily, "yeah, I'm fine, how are you?"

Amelina smiled slightly, his smile brightening her eyes, "Great.." She murmured. "What would you be doing at the edge of the Forest?" She asked softly the wind blowing softly through her hair. She smiled, "I mean....by what chance would it be I bump into you twice now?" She asked cheekily.

Alex smiled over at her, "the forest is the quietest thing around" he shrugged, made sense to him at least. the forest was the one place he could relax. "must be fate" he winked and remembered what Bella had told him, "you haven't talked Bella by any chance?"

Mel smiled, "Trying to be alone?" She asked, knowing how difficult this school was to find somewhere to be alone-and by yourself. But sometimes, with only your own thoughts as company it could get quite difficult. He winked and Mel smiled, "Fate.." She muttered under her breath, glancing back at the pitch. "Uh.." She laughed, "Yeah...I have" She honestly didn't know who should be more embarassed, herself or him.

"kind of...." he started but shrugged, "but I interupted you so you can interupt me if you want" he smirked at her but that fell slightly when she said she had talked to Bella, "um... yeah sorry you had to hear it from her and not me" he said shifting uncomfatably, "she loves playing cupid"

Mel opened her mouth, to reply saying that if she would go if he wanted but smiled as he went on. "Deal then." She said, with a small smile. She watched his expression fall, crestfallen. She paused to reply, chewing on her lip. "You..." Mel stopped, taking a deep breath. "You meant what you said?" Frowning slightly, she looked away. Smiling as he went on, slightly uncomfortable with what she'd said. "Definetely" She said chuckling, immensely grateful for something to say. "We keep telling her to go into the business." She smiled, "Hogwarts' Cupid Queen"

Alex smirked, "I meant it, really" he said and looked in her eyes again. "We should tell her that and then she'll match everyone up." He looked around, they were alone now so he leant in slowly and kissed her on the lips softly, "um.. ah.. sorry"

Mel looked back at Alex. "You...." She bit her lip, hardly daring to believe chuckled when he said Bella would match everyone up. "It must be in the blood" She said, with a laugh.
She was taken by suprise when he kissed her, melting into his kiss. Her mind stopped working and all she could feel was her heart racing much to fast for her mind to understand, he pulled away almost too soon. She smiled slighty, "You always say that and there is never any reason" She muttered, leaning into kiss him again wrapping her arms around his neck.

Mel smirked into the kiss noticing how it changed from the first, his hands wrapping around her waist she moved into his lap tightening her grip around his neck. "I must be something then..." She smiled into the kiss, her eyes sparkling. She kissed him softly, tenderly. |

Alex smiled in the kiss and moved his hands up and down her back slowly. "Maybe you are" he said and leaned in closer to her smiling through it all. He was enjoying this a lot, he was really hoping no one walked over and found them.
