"Si, and if I haven't I'll realise it, suffer the conscequences and then find someone else," Bella said smiling softly. She really wanted to know what Mel was stopping herself from saying, but it was her position not to ask, if Mel really wanted to tell her she would. Feeling the wind blow, Bella shivered as well realising just how cold it was actually getting. "I think we better head back Mel. L'inverno è quasi qui."

Mel sighed, sympatheticly. "Si Bella" Noticing her shiver she got up chuckling as she noticed the difference between their accents. "Ma è ancora inverno. Un paio di mesi.Prima di conglare!" She said, laughing a little.

Laughing Bella stood up and nodded, "Yup. Just think, we've got Christmas coming up, and then it should get hotter. Grazia Dio!" She brushed the dirt off of her clothes, making sure she hadn't damaged them. "So what are your plans this Chirstmas?"

Laughing Bella stood up and nodded, "Yup. Just think, we've got Christmas coming up, and then it should get hotter. Grazia Dio!" She brushed the dirt off of her clothes, making sure she hadn't damaged them. "So what are your plans this Chirstmas?" Mel smirked. "Eventually get hotter" Glancing back at the forest with a shiver, she went on"Uh...nothing much." Mel blushed a little, "Well there was this one guy....." She smiled and waived her away. "Nah....I'm free these holidays. You?" She asked, with a slight smile. |

Bella giggled and nodded. "Yeah eventually." Noticing the blush that had formed and then hearing the word 'guy' she turned and faced Mel, "Amelina Alibrandi you had better tell who this guy is right now or I'm going to go round asking each and every guy if he likes you." If Mel had found a guy it was great, especially if it was someone she knew...it meant she could play cupid! "I'm having Annie round for the holidays so she doesn't have to go back to her grandparents. And I might be going to Sam's for some of it as well."

Mel frowned slightly then burst into exuberant conversation, "Well...he's in slytherin....doubt that would work especially as he's in 7th and has some weird house rivalry thing. But he literally tripped over my feet in the corridor and then we went to Hogsmeade and then.." Playing this out in her head she realised something and gasped. "I..." Her eyes opened into alarm, "No!" She looked away pointedly trying to sort herself out. "Sam eh?" She said nudging her and then laughed. "C'mon. We need to get back to the castle."

Listening to Mel's description, Bella ran through all the seventh year slytherins that she knew and then gasped. "Oh. My. Gosh. Alex? You went to the Leaky Cauldron with Alexander!" She smirked, realising she had to go and find him sometime soon to find out what he thought about Mel. This was surprising, the Slytherin Prince never looked at Gryffindor girls, let alone took them to get a drink. Blackmail was sweet stuff. "What?!" she asked suddenly as Mel exclaimed something. "And yes Sam, he got his own place and has invited me and Annie down to stay if my parents say yes, which they will." She nodded and then started walking, "Come on then, it's not as if we're being missed though."

Mel nodded, having never paid as much attention to the occupants of the school she wasn't suprised when Bella announced that she knew him,s he shrugged. "Don't worry....I've met the prince" She said, sighing."Oh nevermind" Mel said, distracted. "Missed? Oh I bet someone's missing you" She said cheekily.

"And do you like the prince?" Bella asked with a small smirk? She liked playing cupid for others and Mel did deserve to have someone. She nudged her playfully as Mel said someone was missing her. "Shh. He probably isn't missing me," she said with a laugh. "Though if I were Alex, I'd be missing you to be honest."

Mel opened her mouth to reply, struck by the blatancy and then shock, "Don't you dare play cupid Isabella!" She threatened with a smile. Mel laughed, realising she enjoyed Bella's companymuch more than she gave her credit for. "Oh puh-lease! Miss me? In your dreams honey. As for Sam..." She teased.

Raising her hands, Bella shook her head and pretended innocence. "I would never dare play cupid," she said with a small smile. "That would be very wrong." Though so much fun, which is why I'm going to do it she added to herself. Mel was actually really nice, especially considering they had probably spent teh past five years just causally saying hi to one another. "Don't you mean in yourdreams?" she asked with a small smirk. She laughed, "Look, I doubt Sam has missed me. Infact I bet you 6 sickles that says he hasn't missed me at all."

Mel scowled, "If I even catch you within 10 miles of him!" She said, indignantly. "Wrong? It's your favourite game." She muttered, but smiled despite herself.
"No Isabella Peters. I do not spend very waking minute thinking about him" She replied, trying to hold her case.
"Oh please, Mr. Pretty boy is probably about to send the entire police force on to find you" She said. "Six sickles? Oh I'm so going to win this!" She said, smiling.

"See that won't work cause we're both prefects which means we have meetings to go to, patrols of the castle and the grounds to do, and the occasional meeting in the corridor," Bella said listing off the places where she could meet Alex with her fingers. "No, my favourite game is Quidditch, then it's exploding snap, then it's playing cupid!"
"Mel, I didn't say while you were awake did I? I said in your dreams... which means when you are asleep," she said trying very hard not to laugh. "Oh come on, not even Sam is going to be that worried about me...." she trailed off trying to think of when she had actually last seen Sam that day. "No you so aren't," she repied. "I don't even know where he is actually."

Mel scowled, "Stupid prefects" She said. "Alright. As long as your promise you don't say anything to him!" Knowing it was a hopeless case she sighed, "You know what Bella, whatever." She said softly.
"Smart arse" She muttered, but had to smile at her. Mel frowned, "Bella..." She trailed off.
"Oh Bella!" She pulled her up, "Come on. It's freezing!"

"Of course I promise, I promise on my badge," Bella said knowing full well she'd never do anything wrong if she put her prefect badge on the line. "Hey," she said softly. "Listen, I won't say anything or ask him anything unless you want me to okay? When you say I can, then I'll play Cupid and not a moment before."
"Well I am a Ravenclaw," she teased giving her another smile to match her own. Having Mel pull up she nodded, "Yeah come on let's go to the Great Hall it's almost dinner time anyways. Then we can see if I've been missed at all." She ran off towards the castle and turned, "Come on Mel, you're eating with the smart arses tonight!"
