Andrew looked at the picture and smiled, "Oh, I don't know. You looked pretty cute then." He looked back up at her and blushed, "And you definitely still do." He stayed slightly red as she complemented him and he took out some chicken to hide his embarrassment. "So...you never did answer my question in class, saved by the metaphorical bell, as it were. But are you feeling uncomfortable now?"

"Thanks," Bella said feeling her cheeks go red. "And thanks again," she repeated as Andrew continued to compliment her looks. She had just taken a bite when he asked her a question and she groaned before she swallowed. "Why is it guys always remember the stuff you don't want them to, but forget the stuff you don't want them to?" she asked with a small smile to show she wasn't fully annoyed. "I'm not sure if uncomfortable is the right word. I'm happy because I'm with my best friend, yet I feel strange because I happen to like him a little more then a best friend."

Andrew smirked, "It's a mystery I tell you. Kind of how girls don't say what they mean a lot. See that's why I always liked you. You're very straight forward." He laughed playfully and bit into his chicken. As she said she liked him more than best friends his heart soared. "Hmm...so basically the same issues I've had with anyone I've tried to date." He looked at Bella and smiled, "Because no one seems to have your flare and smarts."

"But guys are meant to know what we mean anyways," Bella argued back. "I'm not always straight forward, you've seen me when I've drunk a bit too much. Then I'm more curvy then straight." She laughed and poured drinks for the both of them. "Probably," she agreed nodding her head. She blushed again, "Well I know a few people that do, although if you've only had your eyes on me, you probably haven't noticed." She needed to get him to consider the other girls that were in the school, that way when she told him her answer he wouldn't be lonely and single for the next two years.

Andrew laughed, "Yes, well since I haven't mastered the art of mind reading I'm afraid I don't have the power to read what you really mean." He took a drink of the glass she handed him and tried to think of what she was getting at. "I guess. Well I met a Slytherin girl, Ellie, she's a friend of mine. Helped me through that whole Raven thing along with Amelina." He took a larger gulp, why did they start talking about this? He didn't really like any of them..well so he could come to like Ellie...doesn't mean he wants to.

"Well hurry up and learn then," Bella said laughing. "Honestly we women aren't going to wait forever you know." She took a few sips of her drink as Andrew talked about the other girls that he knew and nodded. "Mel's lovely, though I haven't really met Ellie. I think it has to do with the Slytherin vs. Everyone else barriers. I'm glad she helped you with the Raven issue though, I managed to help Raven actually." She sighed, "As much as it pains me to admit the following thing, you actually fly really well. Are you trying out for Quidditch again this year?"

Andrew laughed, "Yes, well I'm in Gryffindor, you know...the whole Slytherin's absolutely hate Gryffindor's thing. I always thought that rivalry was kind of stupid." He was glad for the change in subject and smirked, "Thanks so are you. What do you think? I may be lazy at times...but even the Captain can't deny I've got skills the team needs."

"Yeah, but I honestly don't know about anyone who could possibly hate you," Bella said. Well okay apart from Sam her brain thought. "Me too, I mean there's no more Voldemort which means that there really isn't any more need." She blushed again and smiled, "Thanks, it only took me six weeks of torturous training with my brother to perfect my chaser skills." She nodded though, "Yeah I try to deny but I can't either. You do know though that you'll be beaten don't you."

"Well let's see...I'm pretty sure Sam doesn't like me. Not to mention Raven isn't too happy with me...have no idea why since she's the one who chose th..." He sighed, "Never mind that." He laughed, "I'm sure he wasn't too happy. How is he anyway?" He smirked, "Oh what...by you?" He grinned, "Well to lose to you wouldn't be that bad. But you'll have your work cut out for you."

"There's a difference between dislike and hate," Bella said softly. "Sam's just a bit jealous and Raven well, she just hasn't been having any luck in the love department recently." She shook her head and laughed as well, "Nope definitely not happy. Especially when I was throwing the Quaffle so hard that it kept hitting him. He's fine, although I heard recently that he and his girlfriend are going through a tough time at the moment." She stared at him and frowned, "No, beating you will be easy. But actually I meant by most teams in general actually. You're good, but you can't be that good."

Tobias walked over to a tree that was in the far corner of the courtyard, he was supposed to meet Gabriella but he wouldnt be surprised after what he had done in the prefects bathroom a couple of days before.

"That makes one of us," Bella said as Andrew told her he felt sorry for her brother. "She was horribly mean, and couldn't stand the fact that my brother and I were so close." When Andrew pushed her she laughed and slapped him lightly. "Next time you push me, I'll make sure I have some drink in my hand to spill over you. Anyways, you need to deflate your ego Andrew, I'm finding it very hard to breathe." She smirked at him before finishing her drink, noticing him watching her as he had some of his own drink. She sighed as Andrew asked the one question she had hoped would not come up, even though it was what the whole picnic was about.
"We're sitting in the courtyard as two best friends that have known each other for forever and will continue to know each other for forever," she told him. "If you mean what my decision is... I love you Andrew, but I'm staying with Sam. I'm scared about what will happen if I cheat on him, so there's that option out of the window. I can't leave him Andrew, but I don't want to lose you as a friend either; you know so much about me and know me almost as well as I know myself." She looked at him, "Please can't you see that I want you to still be my friend, even if you can't be my boyfriend?"

Gabriella strode out of the castle, blinking slightly as the sunlight hit her. The silver thread in her purple skirt glittered, her black top heating up in the sun. She looked around to find Tobias, she had some news to tell him. She found him and her face split into a smile as she walked over to him, positively glowing. She walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek.
"Hey Tobias," she said smoothly. She still hadn't forgotten the bathroom incident,but she was willing to let it slide, especially after what she had found out.
