Kelly walked to Knockturn Alley, leaned against the wall and let herself slowly slide down. She sat there on the dirty stones and felt like crying. "You can't cry, be normal" she told herself. So she sat there, drawing circles on the sidewalk with her wand.

Caeleb left Borgin and Burkes and began strolling back down towards Diagon Alley when he noticed a familiar yet pathetic creature hunched on the ground. He smirked. He couldn't resist this one. "Well, well, aren't you a sorry sight?" he sneered. "Not looking so brave and defiant right now are we?" he commented standing above her. "What's the matter? Did your little girlfriend refuse to take you back? Can't say I blame her, I mean look at you. Who would want you?" he said sadly.

Kelly felt steps coming towards her, but she didn't care until she heard the voice. She jumped up instantly, staring at his face "For your information, I came down to wish Krys a happy birthday and whatever I do or how I look like, is non of your business." She looked in his eyes, with her own eyes turning red "Go, run back to your master, like a little puppy, that you are." she smirked at him.

Caeleb chuckled at her outburst. She was too easy to infuriate. "Oh of course, I forgot the little freak was coming of age. How is she? Killed anyone yet?" he asked innocently. He hadn't forgotten at all of course. But somehow the knowledge that she was so close unnerved him a little. That bothered him. "Puppy. Hmmm. I quite like that. Cute." he commented, discarding her attempt at an insult.
"Anyway, I didn't get dear Krysta a gift. What do you think I should get her? What do you get the girl that has everything? She has friends, a new boyfriend, fabulous powers, plenty of money. I'm so happy for her, aren't you? I mean now that she has her own lover she doesn't have to go around sha**ing other people's..." He chuckled cruelly. "It's disgusting, really. I mean she's supposed to be your friend, and she does that to you! I must say you're very forgiving." he trailed off and covered his mouth in mock horror. "Oh no! Don't tell me you didn't know!" he exclaimed dramatically, smacking his forehead. "What_have_I_said?"

Kelly looked at Caeleb, trying to hide everything, she was feeling. She couldn't believe what he was saying, but it probably was a lie. Or was it? "I don't know what you're talking about and I honestly DON'T care!" She wasn't feeling anything again. Suddenly she felt so weak and the other moment so strong. She didn't care. She wanted it to end. "Caeleb, love, tell me, how's Dara doing? Is she strong enough to fight me or is she still scared?" She took a deep breath, waving her wand in her pocket, sending out a spell, which Caeleb didn't notice. The silver weasel silently disappeared around the corner.

"You don't care?" Caeleb laughed loudly, throwing his head back. "You're not still slinging that old boot are you? You may have somehow convinced yourself that you're cold and hard and nothing matters anymore, but you're still just a little girl with a broken heart. No one's fooled, Kelly. And oh yes I'm telling the truth. Krysta f**ked your girl like there was no tomorrow and Danika loved every second of it...or so I'm told." he added with a chuckle.
Caeleb was about to respond to Kelly's question about Dara with another snide remark when there was a loud crack and Caeleb was thrown violently through the air hitting the wall of the building behind him, his head smashing into the concrete with a sickly thud. He groaned as he tried to pick himself up and immediately started to chuckle. "Was it something I said, my love?" he asked.
Krysta walked down the street towards them her head lowerd, glaring at the crumpled form of Caeleb Dracus as it began to stir on the ground. Just as he began to rise to his feet she sent another invisible attack at him, slamming him back against the wall so that he cried out in agony. "Temper, temper." he sang at her, his chuckling beginning to sound derranged. She didn't say a word. She stopped a few feet from Kelly, but did not look at her. She just glared at Caeleb, her eyes boring into him like lasers. "I thought...I thought you wanted me...to be more honest...Krysta." Caeleb gasped, finding it hard to breathe and speak at the same time. Still the inane chuckling continued. "I was just...telling Kelly the truth." she continued, his laughter becoming wilder. Krysta tilted her head to one side. When she spoke he voice was soft, almost sad. "I am so bored of you, Caeleb." she told him. And then he dropped to the ground unmoving, her silent, invisible spell rendering him unconscious.
Finally she looked at Kelly, her face expressionless. "I'm sorry you had to find out from him." she said sadly. She meant it. "It was cruel." she added. She hung her head slightly. "It's true. I slept with Danika." she confessed in a firm voice. She looked up at Kelly. "It probably doesn't make any difference to you now...but it happened before you and I became friends. It didn't happen again. I avoided her because I cared too much about you. Danika and I are friends. Nothing more." She looked up into Kelly's eyes, her own face calm. "But I am sorry anyway."

Kelly looked at Caeleb. "You don't know anything about me!" She was about to say something else, but there was a lout crack and Caeleb was thrown backwards. She stood still and looked at both Krysta and Caeleb. When Krysta turned to her at last, she had been taken over by rage. "I don't care! You put your nose in my business again. Caeleb and I had a nice talk until you came smashing in. Leave now! I don't need you to show up everywhere I am. This is my business!" She looked at Krysta and suddenly smiled, as she fired a non-verbal unforgivable towards her. ooc: Crucio ofcourse

Krysta was caught off guard as she was hit with the Cruiciatus curse. She dropped to the ground gasping for breath. It was not the first time she'd experience the wrath of this magic, but she hadn't been expecting it and Kelly was a powerful witch. She somehow managed to gather her strength enough to throw up a barrier, wincing in agony. The beast growled. She staggered to her feet, clutching her side, glowering furiously at Kelly.
"You know what? You're right, Kelly. I'm done with this bullsh*t. You want to go on a crash course of self destruction go ahead. Do whatever the hell you want, I really don't care any more. I didn't come here to stick my nose in. I came here to teach this bast*rd a lesson. You just happened to be here. I thought an apology was in order. I was clearly wrong." she growled. The beast roared inside her. "As for this being your business, you have no f**king clue, do you? This is so much bigger than you and your temper tantrums. You want to kill Dara, go ahead. I've got more important things to worry about than watching your arse." She announced, her arrogance starting to come through.
She thought about showing Kelly the full extent of her power, but decided against it. It would have been petty and arrogant. Instead she sent a freezing spell into her chest, leaving her motionless where she stood. It wouldn't last long, but Krys didn't need it too. She turned and walked back down the street, still wincing at the pain. "Good luck, Kelly." She shouted behind her as she left Knockturn Alley and headed back towards the pub.

Kelly felt Krystas fury, as she screamed at her. She couldn't say anything or react anyhow, because Krys freezed her. She couldn't move until she had disappeared around the corner. She turned that way, not hoping that she'll come back, but just to understand, how easily she hurts people. She then remembered someone elses existance. She turned to face Caeleb, but he was still unconscious. She kneeled down before him and cast a non-verbal spell, to wake him. She hated seeing him on the ground like that. As he started to come to his sences she brushed his hand, burning his wrist, leaving a wolf-like shape behind. "Tell Kildara, I'll be waiting." She jumped to her feet "And I'll be waiting you too." She sent him a meaningful smile.

Caeleb woke with a groan. Everything hurt. "That f**kng bi*ch!" he gasped, clutching his head where it had been slammed into the wall. He'd certainly underestimated her. Something he wouldn't do again. Someone was speaking to him. He squinted, trying to make his eyes focus again. Finally the image of Kelly Black came into view and he frowned. He tried to tell her to get away from him, but all that came out was a strangled moan. "Ouch." he protested as he felt his wrist burn. What had she done to him? There was a mark there, but he couldn't see it properly. He managed to decipher her message for Kildara and stared at her in surprise at her last comment. She disappeared from view and he stared into space trying to decide exactly what she meant by it. It was either a threat or a propositon...he wasn't sure which was worse.

Chris walked along the narrow, dark street. He was trying to look as if he belonged there, but the looks he was getting from people suggested he wasn't doing a very good job. He knew it must look odd, someone of his age blatantly walking in Knockturn Alley. He pulled up the hood of his cloak, so that it covered most of his face, and tried to move furtively. That was better. Now he was acting like other people on the street. A shop window caught his eye, and he paused, to gaze, fascinated at the strange objects displayed. Half of them he didn't even recognize.
This was much more fun than hanging around in the Leaky Cauldron!
