Belle looked up as she heard the bell ring. She smiled when she saw Sinead. "Heya Sinead. Nothing's up. Why would you ask such a thing?" she asked, putting on her mature, 'I'm-one-year-older-than-you' voice. She liked doing that. She didn't know why, but people tended to think Sinead was older. So this was all she had.

Sinead sighed and shook her head at Belle's tone. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You don't want to tell the youngen. May I remind you, dearest, your only a few months older. So, tell me. Why has the ever cheerful and annoyingly bubbly Belle Rochford kept to her shop moping? What happened?" she asked seriously, in her 'I-know-you're-older-but-I'm-more-mature' voice.

Belle sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "I had a guy come into the shop to buy school robes, and well, we sorta ... umm ... hit it off, you could say. I even invited him upstairs and we got acquainted, and ... oh Sinead! I'm such an idiot!" she exclaimed. Why was she moping over this? She knew it was going to happen.

Sinead looked at Belle, a look of concern on her face. "Oh Belle. What happened? You asked him to stay the night didn't you? Oh Belle. He's a kid!" she said, then realised they were still technically kids as well. "Well, more of a kid."

"Yeah I did. And he stayed. All night. Sinead, it was the best sex I've ever had. And, to have him with me all night was equally great. We even half made plans to see each other again while he was at Hogwarts. Sinead, I'm such an idiot. I knew he'd forget me. No matter what he said, I knew he would. I feel so stupid," she said, desperately. She'd never felt so childish. She felt like she wanted to hit something.

Sinead sighed and got up and hugged her friend. "Belle, it's okay to get hung up on a guy. You just need to know how to let it go. Can I ask his name? So I can track him down and torture him for hurting you?" she said, trying to make a joke out the situation.

Belle returned Sinead's hug. "But that's the thing, Nead. I don't get hung up on guys. I'm one of the ones that think males were put on Earth for one reason, to pleasure women. And here I am blubbering over some guy I hardly know. Well, I know a lot of him, but not about him." She smiled as Sinead joked. "Zach Fischer. And please don't hurt him. It's not his fault I'm stupid, and I'm acting like an old lady."

Sinead choked. "Fischer? Did he say he had a brother?" she asked. She then laughed. "That sounded different than I meant it to!" She was being worse than Belle. What a dolt!

Belle gave Sinead a confused look. "Yes, an identical twin? Why's that?" Then Belle's mouth opened and she smiled. "Do you know him? Zach's brother? Is that why you've looked happier, and ... lighter lately?!" Belle exclaimed. "Did Miss Reilly finally get some?!"

Sinead shook her head. "Please Belle, a little more decorum! Yes, I met Aidan Fischer. He came into the shop to get his wand replaced, and we met after for a drink at the Leaky Cauldron. I was going to catch up with Chris anyways. Then he came back to my apartment, and we had another drink, and talked a little bit, then we ... 'got acquainted' as you call it." Sinead sighed. "I felt so stupid. So out of practice. He guided me. I felt like a child. It was ridiculous." She blushed.

Belle laughed. "Oh dear. We're going to have to get you more 'practice' young lady! So, tell me about it. What was he like? It would be interesting to see if identical twins not only looked like each other..." she said, throwing Sinead a wink. Then she felt bad. "Forget I said that."

Zach glanced around furtively. He knew he'd be in trouble if he was spotted on Diagon Alley during term. But he couldn't stand it any longer, he had to see Belle again. He'd spent hours lying awake at night, trying to figure out what he really felt for her. Just the thought of her was enough to keep him aroused all day... and yet he couldn't help thinking that this might be his last meeting with her. He just couldn't imagine how they could last, with him still at school for another couple of years. She must be meeting all kinds of men, surely she'd eventually meet someone her own age that she wanted to be with, and then she wouldn't want a schoolboy hanging around...
He pushed the door of the shop open, and slipped inside. "Belle?" he called softly.

Belle was out in the back room, when she heard the bell go over the door, and someone calling her name. The voice was familiar. A voice she hadn't heard for a while. She practically ran out into the shop, smiling as she saw Zach. Then, her look turned to confusion. "Zach," she said, walking up to him. "Shouldn't you be at school?" she asked, though in a way that said she was very happy he wasn't.

As soon as he saw Belle, all of Zach's doubts vanished for the moment. He caught her in his arms, pulling her against him and kissed her hard. "Of course I should be in school - I should be at a Quidditch practice, but I just had to see you. I couldn't stand it any longer." He bent his head to kiss her again, this time a long, sensuous kiss. All he could think about was the warmth of her body against him, and the way she fit perfectly in his arms, and the softness of her lips under his.

As Zach pulled her to him, and kissed her, Belle gasped softly in surprise, but melted into him, responding passionately to his kiss. As he spoke, she smiled. "Ooh, giving up Quidditch for me," she murmured amused. When he kissed her again, she let out a tiny moan, sliding her arms up around his neck. It had been too long.
