Waiting for Angel to decide, Aidan glanced around, catching the glance of a dark-eyed girl. Did he know her? Not well, he'd remember that, but perhaps he'd seen her on Diagon Alley...? When she ordered an ice cream, he smiled at her, and said, "Poison Ivy? I don't think I've tried that one before. Is it a new flavour?" Mel grinned, "Only as new as me....but it's hot" She said taking the cone from the shopkeeper. "D'you go to Hogwarts?" She asked and then smiled at Angel. "Hey...how were your holidays?" She said, trying not to exclude her from the conversation. She flashed Bella and Krys a smile as they sat down to eat. She frowned slightly eyeing the ring. She looked to Aiden and Angel and smiled, "Try the Poison Ivy....it's worth it" She quickly scooted over to the girl's. "Now that's not fair. Don't bother telling me you got engaged!" |

Krysta played with her icecream for a few seconds, staring into the choocolatey goo intently. Finally she spoke in a low voice.
"Kelly attacked me. Used the Cruciatis curse on me. Last night. Remember when that patronus came into the pub? Well Caeleb told her that I'd slept with Danika. I went out there to beat the hell out of him and she was there. She turned on me." she explained, frowning into her dish.

She was going to have to talk to Caeleb, some things just weren't worth meddling in and thanks to him, one of her friends had been hurt. "Are you alright?" she asked tentatively. Seeing Mel walk over to them, Bella waited for the comment she knew was coming. And then she laughed. "You were in Italy my dearest, and I didn't know exactly when you were coming back. Besides, it only happened last night." Blushing a crimson shade she held her left hand up for Mel to see. "It was a sweet proposal." |

Bella watched Krys carefully, something was wrong that much was for sure, especially if she hadn't told the order either. "She did what!" Bella sputtered, almost choking on the mouthful of ice cream. She remembered the patronus because that was when she had left with Sam. "Caeleb told... oh god no wonder Serena's having a meeting about her." She was going to have to talk to Caeleb, some things just weren't worth meddling in and thanks to him, one of her friends had been hurt. "Are you alright?" she asked tentatively. Krysta shook her head dismissively. "I'm fine...I'm tough." she added with a wistful smile. It's more that she can do these things so casually. She's getting worse. She won't listen to anyone and the Order seem just as stumped as I am. I don't know what to do." She said thoughtfully, playing with the sapphire necklace Sebastian had given her. "She's gone downhill so quickly. Just days ago I felt I could reach her. There's not a chance now...especially after that." She closed her eyes and hit her head on the table. It was all her fault. If she'd stayed away from Dani she may still have a shot. |

"I'll be starting Hogwards in a couple of days," Aidan replied, nodding when she suggested he try the ice cream. He turned back to the counter, and said "I'll have a Poison Ivy in a sugar cone." He smiled at Angel. "Did you decide yet?" he asked.
Angel watched the conversation between Mel and Aidan and smiled. She had tried Poison Ivy before and it certainly wasn't her favourite flavour. "Yes, but are you sure you'll pay for mine?" she asked. Having stuff paid for her was something that didn;t happen often. "Um I'll have a Bertie Botts Every Flavour Bean Sundae please," she told the cashier. |

"Hey the Order will figure something out. They probably had problems like this in the last war that we just didn't know about." She was grasping onto thin threads of information, but anything was good. "She's being stubborn Krys, stubborn and power dont go well together at the best of times. It's not your fault." Bella put her hand out and stroked her head softly. "Honestly Krys, it isn't your fault. If anything it's Danika's fault for being so irrisistable, and Caelebs fault for trying to ruin your happiness." |

Krysta sighed. Bella always had a way of putting things in perspective.
"I know you're right. Me and Kelly weren't even friends when I slept with Danika. I told her that, but I don't think that's the issue. She just thinks I'm sticking my nose into her affairs. She's right, I am. But it's for her own good. She's beyond listening to anyone now."
She swallowed another mothful of ice cream and shrugged.
"And I wouldn't expect anything less of Caeleb. I just didn't realise he knew about it. I bet Dara told him." she added with a growl. "I'm just glad Sebastian already knew about it. But then he slept with her too, so he's got nothing to complain about." she added with a laugh. She looked down at the sapphire pendant and smiled.

From her I mean." If Krysta had fought back things were different, but in fairness it would've been defense. "I know it's for her own good, but she doesn't realise it." Her icecream had started melting again, she really had to pay attention to it and took a few mouthfuls. "It doesn't matter who told him, all that matters is that he's a tattletale who is content with ruining everyone's life." She looked shocked as she heard Sebastian had slept with Danika as well. "Honestly I don't know what you all see in her," she laughed. "Danika's a really good mate, but I don't see her any differently then I see you or Mel or Annie." Seeing Krysta's necklace she smiled, "That is really pretty Krys. It suits you." |

"Yes, I'm sure." He grinned at her selection. "An Every Flavour Bean sundae? That's pretty brave of you." He paid for the icecreams then they found a table near the window. "So I guess we'll be back at school in a day or two. The holidays never seem to last long enough. I've heard Hogwarts is very confusing for the first few days - do the staircases really change when they feel like it?"
"I know, I wish they'd last forever, but then we'd never learn anything. It can be confusing, if you don't have anyone to show you where everything is." She nodded with a grin, "Yes they really change, and there are trick steps on the stairs which you can get stuck in unless you know the staircases well enough. Don't worry though you'll be fine. I'll help you if you need it." |

Aidan grinned as Angel obviously found a bad flavour. "I think the worst one I ever got was Dogbreath," he said musingly. "Trick stairs? I think I'll take you up on your offer of help. What house are you in?" He couldn't remember if she'd told him already - and he'd met so many new people in the last few days it was difficult to keep everyone straight. "Me and Zach are already sorted into Ravenclaw." He took a mouthful of his Poison Ivy ice cream, agreeably surprised by the spicy flavour. It was definitely a new one to him. |

Krysta smiled michievously. "Yeah, but to be fair, hun, you're straight." she giggled. "But a lot of people fall over themselves for Ceallach and I only ever saw her as a mate. I suppose it's a matter of taste." she said with a shrug. She smiled when Bella commented on the necklace. "It's lovely isn't it? It's my bithday present from Sebastian. It was his Mother's." she said fondly, looking down at it. "Hey but in even more fairness, I'm happily engaged to a great guy," Bella laughed. She glanced over at Angel and Aidan and saw that they seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. "Ceallach has a sort of untamed spirit in her, sort of like you did, but you've calmed down since you turned 17," she commented. It was true, Krysta seemed to be a lot more calm. "It's beautiful. I can't believe he'd give you something like that. He must really like you, you're lucky do you know that," Bella grinned. Everyone was lucky in their own way. |
