Bella face scrunched up in disgust as unwanted and unneeded pictures of Professor Blackthorn came into her mind. "Guys we're talking about a teacher who I'm going to have to see for the next two years. I really don't want to see her in any other way." Hearing that Aiden fancied her, she stared at him, "That is a good point, but she doesn't have spirit, more like a need to be in control and have things go a certain way." She smiled at Zach, if he was good in potions then he'd be a good person to be partners with.
Seeing Aiden and then Zach take her bags she tried taking them back but gave up realising they wouldn't let her. "You guys don't have to do that you know," she told them. Sighing once more in defeat she thoguht about where to go first. "How about Flourish and Blotts and we can work up from there?" she asked. Sam was going to worry about her if she didn't get back soon, but she had no idea what the time was so she'd worry about that later. It wouldn't be nice to leave two new students on their own in Diagon Alley.

Zach grinned. "Okay - change of subject! Besides, Aidan's right, we only heard rumours. You know how gossip gets around." As he picked up some of Bella's bags, he saw her slightly dismayed expression. "Yeah, let's get the schoolbooks done then we can enjoy ourselves. Unless of course you have to be somewhere... meeting someone...?" If she was, well, she wasn't the only girl at Hogwarts. If their last school was anything to go by, the Fischer twins would have no trouble getting to know the girls.

"Yeah I do, Hogwarts is the center of gossip, anything you do that isn't normal will be around the school within days," Bella warned with a small laugh. It was still gross though, imagining her teacher doing things that she did with Sam. The thoughts of Sam and Zach's words reminded her of where she had to be soon. Sighing she realised she had to cut this in the bud before it went further than friendship. "As much as I'd love to go and enjoy time with you guys after shopping, I have to go back to my boyfriend's house. But trust me, there are defintely girls that will be interested in you two..." and I could name a few right now she finished.
She sighed and then smiled, "Come on. I'm pretty sure there'll be people in Diagon Alley this week as well, so you will definitely know more people than just me before the holidays are over. I'm just sorry I can't get to know you any better then friends."

Aidan grinned. "Well, it was nice meeting you, anyway. Maybe we'll still be on the Ravenclaw team together." The boys walked to the door with Bella, and helped her to load up with all her bags. "I'm sure we'll find our way around Diagon Alley. Though the sun won't shine as brightly without you," he added, with a mischievous wink to tell her he was just teasing.
As Zach opened the door for Bella, he said, "And since we're in the same year and house, I'm sure we can be friends. See you at school."
The twins watched as Bella hurried away, and looked at each other. "Well, that was a nice little appetizer," Zach joked.
"Yeah. It's certainly whetted my appetite for Hogwarts. Let's got and get our books - and see what else is on the menu!" Grinning, Aidan followed Zach out into Diagon Alley.

Krysta and Bella appeared by the door with a pop and Krys let go of Bella's hand. She turned and smiled at her friend.
"This was definitely one of your better ideas, Bella, and that's saying something." she complimented the girl with a happy smile. "Come on, I need sweet, fatty goodness right away." she announced, walking towards the counter and sighing when she saw the selection of flavours available to her. "Hmmm, decisions, decisions." she smiled up at the assistant. "I'll take a chocolate brownie sundae with mixed nuts please." she told him and then looked to Bella to see what she would choose. "Anything you want Bella, on me."

Bella laughed, "Thanks Krys." It was a good idea, ice cream was always the thing to eat whenever you needed to destress. "Same here," she said with a smile on her face. Sweet fatty goodness, the three words that seemed to make everyone happy. "I think..." God there was so much to choose from! "I think I'll take two scoops of chocolate frog ice cream please with sprinkles on top. And Krys are you sure?" she asked. She didn't want her friend paying for everything, this was meant to be her relaxing time, not spending money time.

Krys waved her hand casually.
"Positive." she replied. She plaaced the money on the counter-top for the assistant and looked longingly at her sundae. "This is going to taste so good." she groaned in anticipation. She took it down from the countertop and grabbed a table by the window where they could watch people go by, waiting for Bella to join her.

"Fine, but the next thing you want to buy I'm paying for," Bella sighed in defeat. She laughed at the look on Krys' face and then went to join her, taking her ice cream with her. "You're right yours does look good, but mine's better" she smirked, before taking a bite of it. "mmm yup delicious." |

Krysta grinned and took a spo.onful of chocolate brownie, closing her eyes as she tasted it.
"Mmmm." she mewed. There was something about brownies: thick, rich and moist. "Delicious." she whimpered. She was still aching from Kelly's attack the day before and the chocolate really hit the spot. She sobered slightly at the memory. She looked at Bella thoughtfully. She hadn't told anyone about it, not even Sebastian. She hadn't wanted to ruin their time together last night; it had been so perfect.
"Bella, can I tell you about something? But no one can know. Not even the Order...not yet." she asked awkwardly.

Aidan held the door open for Angel to go into the ice cream shop. It seemed to be quite crowded - obviously, it was a popular meeting spot with Hogwarts students. He walked up to the counter, then turned to Angel. "What would you like?" he asked, then added "My treat!"

Mel dark eyes flashed around the tiny parlour immedietely finding a particular striking one. She hadn't seen him at school, but he was someone she knew. Angel? She couldn't quite remember the name but remembered her from the hallways. She kept looking and saw Bella and Krys choosing flavours.
"Hello Gorgeous" She said to both of them and then gasped, "Sorry.....was I interuppting something?" She frowned guilty. "I'll just get an icecream" She said moving away quickly.
"Just an Poison Ivy Sundae" She said relishing the thought of the spicy sauce and nuts over the vanilla icecream.

Waiting for Angel to decide, Aidan glanced around, catching the glance of a dark-eyed girl. Did he know her? Not well, he'd remember that, but perhaps he'd seen her on Diagon Alley...? When she ordered an ice cream, he smiled at her, and said, "Poison Ivy? I don't think I've tried that one before. Is it a new flavour?"

Krys saw Mel walk into the palour and waved at her. She hadn't seen her for ages. She saw her speak briefly to Angel and...it was Aiden. She could tell him apart from his twin easily. His aura was very different from his brother's.
She was going to call Mel over, but she saw Aiden speak to her so she remained silent and looked at Bella, waiting to see what her response to her question was going to be.

"Thanks," Angel said as Aiden held the door open. She couldn't believe she had a guy buying her ice cream. "Umm I'll take a Bertie Botts Every Flavour Bean sundae please," she decided after looking at the menu for a few minutes. "Are you sure you want to pay for it?" she asked Aiden. |

It was heavenly and she made a mental note to come to fortescues more often to have some of this. "Okay Chocolate Frog Ice cream is now on the wish list of presents for the wedding," she joked. Looking up she saw Angel with Aiden and smiled. Angel did deserve to have a chance with romance and Aiden was definitely nice enough. Mel looked happy too, which could only mean Italy hadn't been that bad. "Of course you can, what's wrong?" she asked. She had enough secrets already to keep quiet about, including one manipulative Slytherin, so one more wouldn't hurt. |
