Ceallach smiled over her shoulder and nodded, pulling books off the shelves and loading the boys arms with their textbooks. "I'm in all of those classes. Except Ancient Runes, I don't get it." she said, pulling the last pair of books off the shelf and putting them on top of the already teetering piles of books. She looked at them and laughed. "I think you're all set," she said. "So, Quidditch huh. Are you going to try out for the Ravenclaw Team? Their Seeker is really quite good, or so I've heard. But then again, I heard from his girlfriend, so she might be a little bias." Ceallach chuckled slightly. "So, how long have you been here? Very long?" she asked. She was starting to think they were looking rather appealing, as a pair.

"That's cool, we'll be seeing a lot of each other then." Zach shifted the pile of books in his arms and smiled at Ceallach. "We're definitely trying out for the Quidditch team. Apparently they need two Chasers, which is perfect for us."
"We only just arrived back in England two days ago," Aidan told her. "We don't even have a house yet, we're staying at the Leaky Cauldron. It's not bad there, our room is pretty comfortable. Our only problem is that we don't know anyone yet. We've met a few students, but really, we're all alone..."
Zach stifled a grin. Sometimes Aidan laid it on a bit thick. "Apart from our parents, of course! But they're cool, they trust us, so long as we check in with them from time to time." He squeezed past Ceallach, brushing against her as he started towards the checkout. "So what are your plans for Christmas, Ceallach? Heading home to Ireland?" He hoped not; she was really very attractive, he wouldn't mind getting to know her over the holidays.

Ceallach had to stop herself from laughing. As Zach brushed against her, she scrunched up her nose, trying not to make a noise. "You're parents sound cool. Mine sent me away. Don't blame them actually," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "No, I'm staying here for Christmas. I'm staying at the Leaky Cauldron as well. I have a room that they're going to keep open for me. Until I get my own house, that is," she smiled at them both as they went up to the counter. She felt like a tag-along. But, they were talking to her, so she supposed there was a difference. She couldn't be bothered with buying a book today. She'd already read the one that she bought when she first got here a week ago. But, she really couldn't be bothered choosing another one. She stood beside them as they waited to buy their books, looking at the pile of gloosy new books. An autobiography from some famous singer. She scrunched up her nose again. Some people were so stupid! People had been trying to do a biography on her family for for years. Good thing her parents decided they didn't need any more money. She really didn't want her life in black and white, on a shelf in a store like this. Too many secrets! She sighed and turned back to the twins. "So, apart from Quidditch, any other extra-curricular activities you interested in?" she asked. Jeez! That was stupid!

Aidan grinned. "Oh, we're pretty much up for anything... parties, hiking... romantic stargazing..." He caught Ceallach's eye and winked, still grinning.
"You're at the Leaky Cauldron too? That makes us neighbours!" Zach finished paying for his books, and picked up the pile. "I don't want to lug these around all day - why don't we go back to the Cauldron and drop them off, and then perhaps you could give us a tour of Diagon Alley. If it's not a bother for you, that is!" He smiled hopefully at Ceallach.

Ceallach caught Aiden's wink and smiled, running her tongue over the inside over teeth. "Hmmm. I wonder if we'll be able to get away with having some parties. Haven't been to a party for ages," she said, shrugging her shoulders casually. "Romantic stargazing? Hmm. Sounds like fun." She gave Aiden a silky smile, before turning to his brother. "So it does! We'll have ot have a drink some time, neighbour," she laughed. "Okay then. Sounds like a plan," she said, looking around to see if they'd both finished.

"Yeah, I find stargazing is a good way to get to know someone..." Aidan let his words trail off. He could just see the tip of Ceallach's tongue running over her teeth, and it was extremely distracting.
"We'll definitely organize a party or two next term. But parties don't have to be big to be fun. Some of the best parties I've been to only had two... or three... people at them." Zach hoped he wasn't pushing things too far too fast, but something about Ceallach was making him feel... what was it... reckless! That was it. He nodded towards the door. "I think we're all done here. Let's head back to the Leaky Cauldron. Maybe we could have that drink when we're done dropping off the books."

Ceallach smiled in Aiden's direction. "Get to know someone? In what ways?" she asked, trying to sound innocent. She turned back to Zach. Okay, this could get confusing "Hmm. I have to admit, I like small parties too," she said, the corner of her bottom lip catching in her teeth. "Ok! Let's go. Hmm. A drink sounds good," she smiled, starting to walk slowly from the store, just a little in front of them.

For a moment, the twins just stood, watching Ceallach's rear view as she walked out of the store. Then they exchanged a look, and grinned. Zach raised an eyebrow, and Aidan shrugged, looking hopeful. They understood each other perfectly.
"Let's go," Zach said aloud.
ooc: continued in the Leaky Cauldron.

Simon wandered into the old bookshop and smiled. It hadn't changed at all. In fact it hadn't changed since he was a small child. He remembered coming in when he was 11 to get his Hogwarts books. His visit today was for a very different reason. He carried a pile of books under his arm, books from Romania that he thought the shop might like to have. They were extremely rare books about dragons, which were unavailable in Britain and he was always eager to share his knowledge with those around him. He hoped someone else may get as much happinness from the books as he once had. He looked around for an asistant but couldn't see one. "Hello!" he called in his warm, deep voice. The shop was unusually quiet. He walked between the stacks, running his fingers down the book spines, a deep feeling of nostalgia sweeping through him and a smile crept onto his lips. "Hello?" he called again. Where was everyone?

Caitlyn walked into the shop and walked down the rows of books. She knew exactly which book she wanted...she just didn't know where it would be. She walked down one row, looking at the titles of the books, none of them the one she wanted, when she heard a deep voice. She walked out of the row towards the voice and saw someone with his back turned to her. "Hello." She said, smiling softly. "Are you looking for someone?"

Simon jumped hen the voice came out of the silence. He turned and smiled. "Hi. I was starting to think I was alone here." he chuckled. "You don't work here do you?" he asked uncertainly. She didn't look like she worked here, but she certainly looked like she knew what she was doing a lot more than he did.

Caitlyn shook her head and walked toward him. "Sorry, just looking for a book. I actually will be working at hogwarts this term." She told him as she looked around the shop. "Hm, that's odd, the shop keepers are missing, why would they have the shop opened if they are not here?" She shook her head and looked back at him. "What do you need help with, maybe I can help you?"

Simon's face lit up. "Me too! Working at Hogarts I mean. Wow, what a coincidence. I'm taking up the Care of Magical Creatures job, how about you?" he asked, glad he wasn't going to be the only new member of staff starting in the Spring. He looked down at he books he as carrying and nodded at them. "I just wanted to leave these for the staff, I thought they might like them. You can't get them in the UK." he explained, also wondering why the shop door was open if there was no staff around.

Caitlyn smiled at him when he said he's working at Hogwarts as well. "That's great, I'm taking over Muggle Studies and will be the Hufflepuff Head of House. I was slightly shocked when they had told me that." She let out a soft sigh, she was happy of course, but she wondered if she was up to the work. "I'm Caitlyn by the way, Caitlyn McFuzz." She looked around the shop again, still looking for one of the keepers. "You could just set them on the counter and leave a note with them. They might find them." She told him, not knowing exactly how rare the books were.

He looked at the books thoughtfully. "Yeah I suppose I could do that." he agreed casually, setting them down on the counter and scibbling them a quick note. "I'm Simon Hedwig." he said, introducing himself with a smile, offering her his hand. "I just came back to the UK from Romania actually, I've not been back long. Haven't even told my sister I'm here come to think of it." he explained laughing. "Head of Hufflepuff, huh? Well I guess that makes you my superior and I haven't even started work yet. I better try and impress you." he said jokingly.
