Kit apparated into the entrance hall with a quiet pop, a huge box balanced precariously in her arms. She beamed as she looked around the room. She dropped the box down onto the sideboard and took a slow spin, breathing in deeply. She sighed and clapped her hands together, a huge smile on her face. "Finally." she said to herself. Kit had been saving for years to be able to buy her own house and now she was earning a teacher's wage she could finally do it. Her good friend Simon Hedwig had lent her the deposit in return for giving his 16-year-old sister Krysta a place to live whilst she was in school in England. Simon was living in Romania where he ran his Mother's Dragon Colony. Kyla Hedwig had been a great friend of Kit's until she had lost her life in The Battle of Hogwarts
Kit walked he length of the hallway admiring the old oak staircase and high wooden beams, It was a traditional Edwardian building with high ceiling and huge fireplaces, lots of natural wood and lots of original features. There were three bedrooms: one for Kit, one for Krysta and a spare should they be lucky enough to have guests. Downstairs were two reception rooms: a lovely large lounge with an old wood-burning fireplace and a large bay-window-seat. The other was what was going to be the dining room which was a little darker than the living room but had a beautiful 8-place oak table and chairs. The kitchen was at the back of the house and was a typical English Country kitchen, large and square with a work-top counter in the middle and work-surfaces all around two walls.
Kit just couldn't believe her luck. She couldn't wait to show Krys around and get stuck into decorating it just the way they wanted it. She already had loads of ideas but ad decided to let Krys do what she wanted with her room. She looked at the old cuckoo-clock by the staircase and wondered when the girl would be getting here.

Krys practically fell through the front door, grumbling to herself as the box she was carrying fell to the floor, sending china cups and saucers shattering across the wooden hall. "Bloody Hell." she growled. "Why am I doing this again? Why can't you just apparate everyting into the house? You're the bloody Apparation techer!" she called through to Kit who was out of sight in the next room. She sighed irritably and began gathering the boken china back into the box. "Well you're gonna have to fix this crockery, coz I can't do it out of school!" she shouted to Kit again, grinning in site of herself.
She looked aroun the hallway. It was dark, dusty and depressing in her opinion. The house must have been empty for years, it was so dingy.
"Has someone given the spiders their eviction notice yet?" she called out, barely hiding the sarcasm in her tone.

Kit walked back into the hall laughing. "I see you're as positive as ever, dear." she replied gaily. "Here, let me sort those out." she offered, taking the box from Krys and taking it through into the dining room. SHe dropped the box on the table and flicked her wand at it. All the contents lept out of it, fused themselves back together and with another flick of Kit's wand they all flew into the kitchen, arranging themselves in neatly a cupboard. "There: sorted." said Kit, still with an excited tone in her voice. She look around towards Krys and grinned.

Krys grinned sheepishly and looked around the dining room. She had to admit she liked this room. She loved all the old wooden panelling and the old black fireplace with its grand mantle. She smiled at Kit for the first time. "Well it is a dust pit, but its got style." she commented, allowing some of her friend's optimism rub off on her. She wandered through into the kitchen and leant against a counter-top. She liked this room too. It looked like Kit had already unpacked most of her belongings as many cupboards were already full and there were brand new pans hanging from the ceiling rig. "Nice. It's homely." she commented, noticing the original argar. "I feel like I should be wearing an apron and brandishing a rolling pin. " she added with a grin.

"It's great isn't it? Sure it needs cleaning up, but that'll only take ten minutes with a wand." Kit said happily. "You can do your room how you want. If you want it redecorating just let me know, I'll have it done in a jiffy. There's not much else to move in, though. Just your stuff, really. I wanted it ready to move into before yu arived." she said smiling at the younger girl, glad she was starting to warm to the place.

"Thanks Kit. I'd have to do everything by hand anyway, so I wouldn't have been much help. I can't wait to see my room. I'll tackle that whilst you whip round get rid of the dust. Then we can decide what we...I mean you are going to do with the rest of the house." She grinned and turned to go out into the hall towrds the stairs. She stopped and turned back, giving Kit a big hug before running off to find her room.

Sebastian didn't like it. This feeling, he didn't like it one bit. Sighing, he walked up to the door, thinking he was insane. He'd spent all last night up, worrying about the slightest changes in her moods and then he'd felt it. Something strange, a pull? Sebastian couldn't stand it, he needed to know if it was alright. Stepping up to the door, he hit the knocker with a little impatience, waiting for it to be opened.

When the knocker sounded at the door Kit's head whipped arund in shock and impatience. "Not now!" she moaned. She was currently holding Krys down on the bed trying to stop her injuring herself with her wild thrashings. "Tigsy! See who that is and tell them to come back another time!" she yelled at the House Elf who immediately bobbed and dashed out the door. "Sebastian." Krysta wailed.
Tigsy ran down the stairs as fast as her little leg would take her, in the panic forgetting that she could apparate. She pulled open the door and stared up at the tall dark boy in surprise. "Sorry, sir. Mistress has asked Tigsy to tell any visitors to please visit another time. Miss Krysta is unwell. Thank you, Sir." she exlained quickly and went to close the door, eager to return to her Mistress's aid.

Sebastian winced, someone else's pain ravaging him. "Lo-Look...Tigsy" He said, through teeth putting his foot in between the door and the threshold He wasn't leaving till he knew she was okay, and the elf wasn't going to stop him. He grimaced slightly and tore up the stairs, following the screaming coming from upstairs. He tore open the door in alarm as he saw Krys thrashing about on the bed. Sebastian streaked across the room, at her side in less than a second. He looked up at Professor Walker, swallowing to prevent himself from collapsing. The pain or whatever it was was unbearable. "What...What's wrong with her?" He groaned, taking her wrists and pining her with much resent to the bed, he knew if both he and Kitania let go, Krys would hurt herself.

Liz still held on to Simon's hand lightly as she apparated to Kit's house, where apparently Simon was staying. "Are you sure Kit isn't here?" she asked again not wanting to disturb her friend. She was still amazed that she had plucked up the courage to tell him that she loved him. That feeling had been with her for a while, but there had never been the right time to say it until tonight. Besides she hadn't been fully certain about his feelings for her either until tonight as well.

Liz looked startled as a small being ran up to Simon and started talking to him. It took a few seconds to realise that the small being was a house elf and instantly made the connection that she must be Simon's house elf. Tigsy seemed to be extremely happy to see Simon again and stayed silent whilst the elf greeted him. "Don't worry Tigsy. You weren't being rude, you were just excited," she said smiling. She'd never understood why some people were rude to house elves, they were dear things and were very helpful. Plus, most house elves she'd known cooked excellent meals.
Liz bit her lip trying not to blush at being introduced by Simon. She knew that if the elf didn't like her it could cause problems and would probably be awkward for him. It seemed she had nothing to worry about and judging Tigsy's reaction, she could read between the lines of 'a very good friend'. The elf's giggle caused her to laugh as well and inclined her head in response to the bow.
Tigsy's comment caused her to blush though. She wasn't used to being called pretty that often, but it was really nice to hear she'd gotten the elf's approval. "It's very nice to meet you too Tigsy. Thank you for the compliment, but I only look like this because of the ball at school. Ask Simon, I normally look worse." The news that Kit wasn't here was slightly concerning because she'd checked the hall before they'd left and she hadn't spotted her there either. Then again, it wasn't really her business and she could always ask her later. "Don't worry Tigsy. We ate earlier and although I'm sure you're a good cook I don't think I can eat anything big right now," she said reassuring the elf.
"She's lovely," she replied watching the elf skip off towards another room. "And she seems to have missed you a lot." She looked at him and smiled reaching up and kissing his cheek. "I have to agree with her though. I'm glad you're not with the dragons any more too."
