The "Map" Room

"I've got something better then finding a portrait, one of my friends was telling me about this special stone called the Resurrection Stone; apparently it's somewhere around the school.. but I'm a bit hesitant to believe that a stone so valuable would still be around here somewhere." Alex said rubbing the back of her neck slightly, she wasn't sure if someone had already found it or if it even existed but it was definitely worth a look.

Willow stopped reading and dropped the book into her lap. She stared at Alex for a moment as though in shock. Her mouth hung open slightly as though she were to bewildered to reply. But then she laughed.
"Be serious Alex." she cried, still laughing. "The Resurrection Stone. The Resurrection Stone. Don't be ridiculous. That thing's long gone. My cousin told me her herself, Harry Potter got rid of it where no one would ever find it." she scorned. Although now she thought about it, Harry had never actually told Luna where he'd hidden it.
She pushed the thought aside and shook her head.
"Who told you that anyway? They must be having you on. You know what the people around here are like. Always gossiping." she said, shaking her head.
But how great that would be. To have the Resurrection Stone...

Alex frowned slightly, she wasn't that foolish to believe that Hailey was leading her on about the Resurrection Stone or was she? "It was a 6th year Hufflepuff by the name of Hailey St. James, who apparently is friends with Natasha and she told me now I sorta feel stupid if she was lieing to me." she said, brushing her blonde hair back slightly; trying to figure out exactly how she could have been possibly that idiotic to actually believe her friend when she knew very well that no one around here could truly be trusted. "That's besides the point now anyways, the point is that we've got to figure out someway to get this map started since honestly it's going nowhere." This definitely wasn't the most well thought out idea in the world and it was making Alex incredibly frustrated seeing as she originally thought that Will was a genius and that this was going to be a piece of cake.

Willow tapped her chin with a gentle frown as Alex talked about Hailey. Willow didn't know Hailey very well, but she had seen her around in the Common Room and in a few classes. But she didn't seem the lying type.
"Hmmm. Who can tell. I don't know her that well, but she seems genuine enough. And what reason would she have to lie? Unless she was just really bored." she shook her head.

She listened to Alex's frustrated outburst and pursed her lips for a moment. Then nodded, conceding defeat.
"You're right. This is going nowhere." she sighed, throwing the book she was holding onto the coffee table. "We need a new approach. And I think our first move should be ton confirm this Resurrection Stone rumour as either true or false." A wicked smile began to creep across Willow's face.
"And that means spying." she concluded in an excited and mischievous voice. She rubbed her hands together gleefully. The idea of playing spy sounded like a lot of fun.

As Willow mentioned spying, a devious grin crossed Alex's lips; she enjoyed spying on people and was quite good at it. Maybe this map would eventually come together when they had the proper information regarding this supposed Resurrection Stone. "Ooh I like spying, maybe we should discuss exactly how we're going to go about spying on certain people; we also need to talk about who we're spying on to get this information." she said then put her hands behind her head and giggled slightly.
