It was between classes, and Sara needed a break. She wandered down through the grounds, thinking a nice stroll would help clear her mind. Passing the lake, her eyes fell on the rocks beside it. She smiled, and climbed up onto them, searching around for the spot shee used to sit while she was at Hogwarts. She found it. It's still here! She'd thought that time would have maybe changed it a little. But no, it was still like it had been 25 years ago when she'd been at Hogwarts.
Smiling, she slipped down into it, settling into the hollow. She sighed, and closed her eyes, revelling in the silence. Most of the students were up in the castle, so it was very quiet outside. Though, that wasn't really helping the fact she needed a distraction. Reaching into the pocket of her jeans, she pulled out an envelope. She opened it (she haddn't sealed it yet) and unfolded the letter that was inside, reading it to herself. To her, it sounded stupid. Lame. She'd never written such a bad, and gooey, letter in her life.
The letter, as badd as it was, had to be sent, in order to preserve what was left of her sanity. A letter to a man she'd never really gotten over, pleading for him to take her back, despite the fact it was her that hadd pushed him away in the first place. A letter to Rabastan Lestrange.... the love of her life.

The letter, written in Sara's flowy script reads, Dear Rab,
I know I am probably one of the last people you want to hear from right now, but I have to tell you. I love you. And I always will. Since seeing you again, memories of all the great times we spent together all those years ago have come flooding back. Memories I tried to forget, I'll admit it. I though that by telling you I couldn't do it, that I'd actually be able to hold to that. But, I can't. I'll never stop loving you. I hope you can forgive my abruptness with you, and all the tears. You're the only person in my life that has ever made me feel remotely human. Not cared about what I am. I'm asking you if you'll let me come back into your life, like I want you back in mine.
My everlasting love,
Sara Equinox swooped down towards her mistress, still seated on the rock. She landed beside her, and stuck out her leg, waiting for the new letter to be taken. The Letter: My love,
There will never be a time when I don't welcome your words. Of course I want you back in my life. I always have.
There is nothing to forgive. You needed time to think, to remember how things were between us. They will be like that again, I promise. I love you so much that words are inadequate to express it.
When can we be together? Where? Just tell me and I will be there.
With all my love
Rab

Sara looked up as Equinox landed next to her. She hastily untied the letter, and opened it. She let out a sigh of relief at the words written on the page. Everything was going to be alright. She took a piece of parchment out of her pocket as well as her quill, and wrote.

Equinox flew down yet again, and perched beside Sara, leg extended with the latest letter. Her large eyes seemed to hold a faint air of reproach at having to work so hard today. The Letter: My Dearest
I am already at the Hog's Head. I will await your arrival with anticipation

Sara took the letter, stroking Equinox on the head. After reading the letter, she took a few owl treats out of the bag in her pocket. "Thank you so much, girl. You can go rest now," se told the owl, who, after eating the treats, flew off in the direction of Sara's office. The headmistress stood up out of the rocks, and looked around, then suddenly she was engulfed in flame.

Natasha was in utter disbelief at the color robes she was forced to wear, blue seriously? Those Ravenclaws were nothing but book loving nerds and she was not like them, she was Slytherin through and through, that sorting hat was a bloody fool obviously. She'd make her true intentions known to this school soon enough but for now let them believe they're all safe, it made things all that much easier for her when people were suspecting that she was up to to something like the previous term although then there was an excuse to believe that she was involved with the Death Eaters with the way she had acted.
But now this was a new term and a new chance to get her chance at stealing the power of this school, seemed that the new Headmistress wasn't what she appeared to be; but that wasn't going to be an issue for her, she'd fall like all the others did and then a 15 year old who was a evil genius would have the power, the Minister would feel threatened and everything would fall into place.
She walked over the rocks as she began plotting her moves, this was like a well executed game of chess; each move had to be precise and there was to be no mistakes or there would be serious trouble.

Frankie picked her way carefully along the shore where the earth gave way to the rocky outcrop from the mountains. She stepped from boulder to boulder, watching the water swirl between the cracks beneath her. They reminded her of the rockpools she used to explore as a child and she wondered what tiny little creatures lived in the lake. There was a slight chilly breeze coming off the water, but it didn't bother her. She was warm-blooded. Selecting a comfortable-looking rock she sat down, completely unaware of the girl standing on the rocks above her. She took out the stone again and held it in both palms, stroking it gently with her thumbs. Suddenly she thought of her Mother. She'd been missing her so much recently. As she caressed the black pebble it felt slightly warm under her touch and she stared at it as though hypnotised.

With a glance of her ice cold blue eyes, Natasha noticed another girl sat down on the rocks below her; apparently she'd not met her before because everyone who saw her ran away and she fed off that fear, it was rather interesting how one 15 year old Ravenclaw could scare so many people to the point where they ran and hid while she was in the area.
The girl didn't seem that special to her until she noticed the rock in her hands, there were rumours of the Resurrection Stone being around the school and she wanted to find it before anyone else did even though she wasn't exactly sure of how it was used; the point was that she would have it all to herself.
"Well, what do we have here.. if I'm not mistaken, that stone is special and someone like you shouldn't have that." she said as her gaze locked onto the girl and her face remained frozen as if it were made of stone.

Frankie jumped out of her skin when she heard a girl's voice from behind her. She whipped around to see who had spoken and saw a blonde Ravenclaw girl who was perhaps a couple of years younger than her. She frowned, instantly annoyed...and oddly protective of the stone in her hands. She absently covered it with her palm and subconsciously moved it a few inches away from the stranger. "Do you always talk to your Prefects like that?" she asked curtly, fixing the girl with a hard stare. "Besides it's none of your business. It's just a stone. And it's mine." she told her firmly. Frankie stood up and faced the girl properly, her gaze stern. She hadn't been there at the beginning of term when she and Justin had addressed the whole House. She was sure of that. "What's your name?" she demanded. She had a feeling this one was going to be trouble.

After the girl stood up, Natasha's expression changed from what the muggles called a poker face to a smug look of somewhat curiousity for the girl who decided to not respect her like the others have which wasn't exactly a wise idea at all. "Actually I do, let me tell you why; just because you have that little badge that says you are a Prefect doesn't mean I have to respect you..it means the complete opposite as a matter of fact." she said in a dark tone which was full of venom.
"Oh and you don't know that? Hmm.. you evidentially haven't been around this school long enough to know who I am, those who know me.. fear me; the name is Natasha Garrison and you better remember that."

For a few moments Frankie just stared at the girl. And then she started laughing. She couldn't help it. The sheer delusional nerve of the girl was hilarious. She slipped the stone back into her pocket and took out her wand, still chuckling slightly. "Honestly, kid, you need a reality check. I've never heard of you, so your reputation can't be particularly renown. And you may want to work on your threatening gaite, because to be quite honest you're not remotely scary. It may work on the first years, but it's not going to work on me. Now run along before I put you in detention." she said in the most patronizing tone she could muster.

After listening to the other girl talk, Natasha yawned slightly; just being around here seemed like a complete and utter waste of her valuable time, she couldn't wait to find the Resurrection Stone then eventually take down the new Headmistress who wasn't at all worthy of holding any true position of power. It seemed the Ministry had gotten soft, hiring Headmistress and Professors who weren't fit to hold their positions properly, it was a shame seeing as at one point she believe they were doing a good job with getting proper people to teach at this school.
"Ooooh go ahead, put me in detention; I just don't care what you do because really in the end, all your little punishments will not deter me one bit, so why don't you take your little shiny badge and head back into the school..you sorry excuse for a Prefect." she said, taking a couple steps so she was practically invading the other girl's personal space.

Frankie just stared at Natasha for a few moment with a smug smile on her face. The kid had absolutely no idea how delusional she was. She'd met kids like her before. They all thought they were something special, that the rules didn't apply to them and had incredible delusion of grandeur. "I get it, kid. You're a hard ass. You want everyone to know how scary you are. No one can touch you, blah, blah, bah." she said in a smooth condescending tone. She shook her head slowly as though she was actually a little sorry for her. "Do you know how many like you have come before? And they all all end up the same. So good luck with that." She turned confidently away and began walking slowly and purposefully towards the castle. After a few feet she paused and turned back. "Oh, please excuse me, I have to go and polish my shiny badge." she said sarcastically before turning back towards the castle.

Natasha glared daggers at the Prefect, did this girl think she was stupid? She knew what had happened to people like her and that was only because they were half the genius she was, they didn't know how to survive and how to get away with anything. No matter what anyone had told her, she was not one of the weak, no she was the puppet master who controlled everyone in this school; pulling people's strings to make them act how she wanted to, those fools were too oblivious to realize what she was going to do. "I'm not a kid..never refer to me as such or I'll make you regret not showing me any respect; understand or do I have to speak more slowly?" she said with a smug grin.
"That's right, run away; you're just like every other Ravenclaw around this school, too afraid to realize that we can control this school but that's fine.. more fun for me."
