Alycya strode through the station, her Muggle parents in tow, ready for her final year at Hogwarts. Her parents had tried to convince her not to go back, after what had happened, but Alycya had insisted fervently, that she wanted to do her NEWTS (Newts? her parents had asked. Why in the world are you doing Newts? Then, she'd had to explain they were exams, not a reptile!)
So, here she was, back at King's Cross, going on the train to begin her last year. She had to admit, she was a little apprehensive, not really knowing how this new Headmistress was going to run things. All they knew was a name, Sara Templeton, and that she was running it, and she was different. And that she would be the oldest teacher on staff. She wondered how it was all going to go.
Getting to the entrance to Platform 9 3/4, she turned to her parents, hugging them both, before taking her trolley from her father, who was restraining her mother. Seriously, that was embarrassing. She was seventeen, andher mother still cried when seeing her off! She gave them one last smile and crossed through the barrier.
