The year is 1947, and the world is finally getting back on its feet. While the Muggles overcome what would later be tallied as the deadliest war in history, the Magical community is coming to terms with the end of a war of their own. It has been nearly two years since Gellert Grindelwald was defeated and incarcerated for his crimes, which were so high in number and devastating in substance that they are no longer spoken of directly. It seems that the Wizarding world is at peace – the Ministry has been reestablished, with better officials and enhanced communications; Quidditch, which lost steam during the War, is picking up once more, and young recruits, some still at Hogwarts, are being plucked up left and right; and Hogwarts… Hogwarts seems to be the same, safe place it always was. Or is it?
