Kit practically ran down the dingey dungeon corridors to Emilia's office and knocked loudly on the door. She hadn't seen her since she had first told Kit about Kelly's return. She'd just heard about Kildara and Caeleb's marriage and it had shocked her. Their relationship was not news, but the fact that they'd gone so far as to marry was a big surprise.
But that wasn't why she had to see Emilia. She'd just heard about the most recent deaths. She had to know. Was this the work of Death Eaters or was it Kelly? Though why kelly would have any argument with young Chris Mrquez she couldn't fathom. No. It must be Death Eaters.
She knocked again, impatiently, but there was no reply. Finally she pointed her wand at the lock and let herself in. Whilst she was here she may as well do the job she'd promised Serena she would do.
She walked to Emilia's desk and with a heavy sigh she began opening all the drawers and cupboards looking for anything that might be of use to The Order.

Kelly walked down to the dungeons. Her eyes lingered on the familiar door to professor Pettigrew's office. With a smile playing on her lips, she stepped silently towards it. The smile on her face grew even wider, when she heard quiet noises from inside the office. She stood there, gripping her wand in her pocket. She thought of the opportunity of just killing her quickly, but where would be the fun in that. So she pushed the door opened "Hello, professor.." she smirked as the woman turned around ".. Walker. What brings you here?" Kelly sneered in her face, trying to figure out what she was doing there.

Kit jumped out of her skin when she heard a voice . The surprise turnede to horror when she saw who it was. Despite the confident expression of distaste on the girl's face she seemed surprised to see Kit. But then she was clearly expecting Emilia to be here.
"Kelly!" she exclaimed, almost wincing when her voice came out higher than usual. Her skin felt cold and prickly. She looked at the door behind Kelly and saw there was no way she could get past her. Her eyes went back to Kelly's face: the face of a cold-blooded killer.
"Are you looking for Emilia?" she asked, her voice sounding more like her own. She deliberately held her body in a relaxed stance, trying to seem casual. "I'm not sure where she is. I was waiting for her myself, actually." she added, working hard to keep her voice calm and even.
"So how are you? Did you have a good holiday?" she asked, concentrating on keeping her mind blocked. She knew exactlty what Kelly had been doing during the holiday, but she didn't want Kelly to know that.

Kelly couldn't help sneering into Kit's face as her eyes darted to the door. "Yeah, actually I was looking for Emilia, but I'm not disappointed with finding you. One professor is as good as another." She let out a laugh. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to get into Kit's mind, but she had it blocked too well. It didn't bother Kelly. She'll get her revenge without using legilimency. Her flashed a bit of red, as Kit asked about her holiday. "Well yeah, I can't complain. I had tons of fun. Traveling and learning new things has always appealed to me." She pulled out her wand and pointed it at the door. She muttered a silent spell, which made the door blend in with the wall. She conjured a chair for herself and took a seat, keeping her eyes on Kit. "Now, tell me, what exactly are you doing here. It didn't look like you were just sitting around." She eyed the opened drawer behind Kit.

Kit continued to stare at Kelly's face, almost afraid to look away. But when the door behind the girl suddenly disappeared, leaving only a blank wall she couldn't help the look of fear that entered her eyes. She watched as the chair appeared and Kelly sat down in it casually and complete relaxed.
She glanced down at the drawer as Kelly asked, no: demanded to know what Kit had been doing and for a moment she considered telling her to mind her own business. she was the teacher here, she was the adult. She didn't answer to Kelly. If any other student had asked such an impertinent question...but this wasn't any other student. And playing dumb right now wasn't going to do her any favours.
Instead she chose the truth.
"If you must know I'm searching her office. Under orders from Serena. I've been given the job of keeping an eye on Emilia." she finally replied. Kelly had been part of the Order after all. "Is that alright?" she asked, unable to keep the sarcasm out of her voice.

Kelly couldn't help smiling as she saw the fear in Kit's eyes. She let her wand travel around between her fingers as she was waiting for her response. She did not expect what she heard from her, but it didn't surprise her either. She chuckled "You don't need my permission to do your 'noble deeds'" her voice sounded impatient "but since when does the Order go behind someone's back?" She stopped her wand and held it gently in her palm. "Would they like it, if someone let a spy lose in the headquarters?" She didn't even try to keep the bemused grin off her face. Rethorical questions of course, my dear" she felt her blood racing in her veins. She was ready. "As I always say 'Don't do to other, what you don't want to be done to you'. So" She got up from the chair, pushing it carelessly aside and raising her wand "I'm giving you a choice, which I'd like to have, should someone ever dare to let things go that far. How do you want to die?"

Kit leant against Emilia's desk and couldn't help scowling.
"Last time I checked The Order prefer espionage to just killing off anyone who gets in the way." she replied. She was referring of course to The Death Eaters, but she realised almost immediately that Kelly may think the comment was aimed at her. She swallowed. "You may have noticed, people are dying. You expect us to just do nothing?" she asked. She didn't care that the question was rhetorical, but she didn't like the smile on Kelly's face.

She unconciously leaned away from Kelly as the girl suddenly stood up. she eyed Kelly's wand nervously. The skin at the back of her neck prickled. She frowned as Kelly said she was giving her choice. What was she talking about?
And then she got her answer. Her blood ran cold and she could almost feel her face turning white. Her stomach clenched tightly and she froze. Her first instinct was to start shouting, to retaliate and demand to know why her life should be forfeit. She hadn't done anything to threaten Kelly. She was no danger to her, not really. Why should the girl want her dead. And in the end that's all she could manage to say. Her voice quivering she simply juttered one furious and terrified word.
"Why?"

Kelly's eyes narrowed even more as Kit spoke. "If I would kill everyone in my way, you would be dead long ago!" She saw the terror in Kit's eyes. She probably hadn't intended to aim the comment towards Kelly, but the mistake was made. Kelly didn't let her out of her sight, as she continued to speak. Her words flowed right through her, waking the anger inside. "I would have expected you to take action the last time people were getting killed. Azkaban is too good for the likes of Kildara!" She felt her fury gain strength. Kit had done a huge mistake by waking the rage inside Kelly. All the softness that Danika had brought to the surface was sinking back down. She saw Kit turn white when she told her she's gonna kill her. She felt her emotions getting high. She shouldn't have enjoyed killing that much, but only the expression on Kit's face, as she froze, made it seem worth it. "Why?" she sneered sharply, taking one more step closer to Kit, as she winced. "You are asking me why? Why do most people hurt others?" She turned her eyes away from Kit, glancing outside the window, but eyeing her image from the corner of her eye. "You mean nothing to me. The two reasons why I'm killing you, are" she turned her eyes back to Kit. "First, it will destroy Emilia completely. I don't want to kill her, it would be too easy for her, I want her to suffer. I want her to know that you died because of her." A smile played on her lips, as she gripped her wand a bit tighter "Second, i want to hurt Krysta, just as she hurt me. She stole from me the only person I've ever loved, so I'm going to take your life. You're not as important to her as Sebastian, but that's her weakness. She cares for so many people that it's easy to hurt her." Kelly's eyes went cold and red "She loses one, she still has a few left, but she took my only one."

Kit just stared at her, completely appauled by what Kelly was saying. It was ignorant and completely out of line. But she daren't provoke her further. But what did it matter? She was going to kill her anyway.
"I disagree. Rotting away in a prison cell would be more torturous than death. You know I have no love for her. We're supposed to be on the same side, Kelly." she said, as calmly as she could.
As she listened to Kelly's excuses she shook her head slowly, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"She never intentionally hurt you, Kelly. You don't know how much she regrets what she did. Krys hates herself for it. I swear to you...she is sorry. She cared about you. She wanted to help you. But she never took anyone from you. She didn't see Danika again after that one night. Not like that. And as for Emilia...no one feels guilt like she does right now, Kelly. Do you think she wouldn't take everything back if she could? All she ever wanted was to look after you." Kit pleaded desperately. She knew it was no use. Kelly had made her decision and her warped perspective on everything was beyond changing. She closed her eyes and released a deep, defeated breath.
Was this really it, then? Was her last breath just moments away?
