Kelly walked into the great hall cautiously. Her fingers were wrapped tight round her wand in her pocket. She glanced over the tables and found who she was looking for. She walked straight over to the slytherin table, ignoring Sebastian and keeping her eyes locked on Danika. As she approached her, she felt her heart beat rapidly. It had been happening too much lately. It bothered her. She came to a stop in front of Dani "Could I have a word with you" her eyes darted off to Sebastian "privately?"

Danika sighed, and took a gulp of water. She jumped slightly as she heard someone walk up behind her. Turning around, her face registered shock as she saw who it was. "Kelly?" she said, biting her lip. "Oh - ummm - sure," she nodded, standing up. She gave Sebastian a smile, and stepped away from the table, walking into the Entrance Hall. "How are you, Kelly?" she asked when they got out of the Great Hall.

Kelly grinned at Danika's expression. She didn't know what to make of it. What exactly had she been expecting, hate? Or perhaps sadness? She didn't ponder bout it long and followed Dani into the Entrance Hall. A part of her wanted to throw her arms round Dani and kiss her to pieces, in response to her question. "I have been better" you of all people should know she took a breath. Not that you'd care of course "What about yourself?" This was not what Kelly had hoped for. She expected Danika to shout at her, to hate her. They hadn't spoken for so long and they surely hadn't departed on speaking terms. What could've possibly changed Dani's reaction towards her? It doesn't matter she kept telling herself. Yeah, why should it matter, I'm way over her she agreed with herself, while her heart skipped a beat. Oh, shut up was all she could say to herself. It was always hard to lie to one's heart.

Danika was surprising herself. She was keeping herself under control so well! Danika and control unfortunately didn't go together. One reason why her and Kelly were standing here talking awkwardly like this, not like they used to be, absolutely wrapped around each other. She pushed the memories away quickly, before they took hold. "Oh, me too. Definately been better," she said, looking down at herself. She was thinner than usual. Stress and not eating does that to you. She took a few more deep breaths.

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

Kelly felt her words gettin stuck in her throat. What did she want to talk to Dani about? What bloody thing made her come here like this? Did she want to tell her how much she still loved her? Or to show her, she didn't care for her one bit? Kelly felt a bit dizzy as all the thoughts raced through her head. She tried to clear her voice, but it still sounded a bit hoarse when she muttered "I don't want to kill you." She gazed into Danika's eyes. Was it possible that she saw there the same regret that she knew, reflected from her own eyes? "Everything that's been happening lately, won't end happily" she continued "mistakes.. no, choices have been made and there's no walking away from them." She reached out for Dani's hand. That bloody conversation with Caeleb turned me all soft again she thought and cursed Caeleb silently. She gripped Dani's hand firmly "I guess I just wanted you to know, that even though you hurt me so much, I still love you. And however things might end, I swear I'll never do anything to harm you nor will I let anyone else hurt you." She lowered her eyes, so that Dani wouldn't see all the water rushing behind them. Kelly couldn't afford to let anyone else see her cry. She wasn't weak, there was just something about Danika that broke her will.

Danika watched Kelly, waiting for her to begin to speak. As a matter of fact, she didn't look too well. She thought about retorting to Kelly's claim she wasn't going to kill her. Well that's good I suppose ran through her head, but she didn't dare say it outloud. She looked down at their hands as Kelly took hers. Well, this was a complete opposite to what she was expecting. "I love you too,"s eh murmured quietly. It was the truth. 100%. Kelly continued and Danika watched as the other girl dropped her head. Danika sighed softly, and lifted Kelly's face with a finger under her chin, watching the tears. Tears. Vulnerability. Danika's biggest weakness. She knew she would regret her next action, but she had to do it. She had to do it - one last time. She raised Kelly's chin the slightest bit more, leaned closer and captured Kelly's lips with her own.

Kelly wanted to object, when Danika lifted her face back up, but she didn't manage to find the words. She had very little time to react to anything at all, before Dani's lips were so close. Too close. She felt like she wanted to scream. Just to tell her to stop doing that, but she didn't. She didn't know what sh was supposed to feel. Relief? Anger? Happiness? F*ck everything she thought to herself as she closed her eyes and gave in. She felt her lips shape themselves round Dani's. Her one hand remained gripping Dani's, while she slid the other round Danika's waist, pulling her closer than she ever thought possible. It was wrong, but it felt like heaven. It was selfish, but she didn't care.

Danika felt Kelly respond to her kiss, and felt the other girl's arm go around her waist, pulling their bodies together. It had been so long. She'd never get over Kely, even though it was herself that ruined their relationship in the first place. After a while, Danika pulled away slightly, really just a breaking of their lips.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. It was mean of me."

Kelly lost herself in the kiss. She wanted nothing else, than to be somewhere, just the two of them, without anyone else watching. When Dani broke the kiss, it brought her back to earth. She kept her eyes closed, as she felt Danika's soft breath on her lips. "I'm glad you did" she muttered in response. So what if it made things worse? The only thing that mattered was, that Dani still loved her, no matter what she did. "Why did you have to destroy everything in the first place?"

Well, Kelly didn't slap her, nor fully pull away, that was an upside. But, that kiss, though initiated by herself, had stirred such emotions in Danika that she hadn't felt since she was with Kelly last. Hearing Kelly mutter, she breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Kelly, her eyes full of apology. "I had a lot of growing up to do," she muttered. "I thought I could still just be the same. Now I know it doesn't work that way. But it hurt - to do that to you."

Kelly opened her eyes to see Danika's apologetic eyes. She felt every piece of her shattered heart glow, as Dani spoke. A part of her knew, it would be stupid to believe Dani again, but another part of her tried to convince her in a new chance. She kept gazing into Dani's eyes and smiled. Kelly released Dani's hand, only to cup her face in her hand. "It's okay, hun" and she pressed her lips tight against Dani's once more. It had been too long.

Danika could see it all going around in Kelly's mind. It wouldn't surprise Dani at all if Kelly turned around and hexed her. Wouldn't surprise at all. Though, her real reaction took the wind out of her, as well as all forms of right and wrong. Danika melted into the kiss, letting out a tiny moan. Too long it had been since they'd been together. And, they hadn't really parted on good terms. Danika's arms went around Kelly as they kissed.

Kelly winced slightly as Danika's arms found a way around her. It had been long since she had had someone so close to her. Danika was the last person to do it. She slid her own hand, the one cupping Dani's face, around her neck and braided it in her purple hair, pulling her as close as she could. She forgot about the world, but not about her hatred for Krysta and Emilia. She pulled herself away as gently as she could, gasping for air. "I'm sorry, love, but I have to go. Go back to the great hall and wait for me there. I just gotta do something, I'll be right back." She kissed her on the cheek once more.

Danika sighed. Her arms tightened slightly around Kelly, adn she could feel Kelly's fingers snaking through her hair. She couldn't believe how good this still felt. Danika should hate Kelly. She'd killed Tyson. But, she didn't. Danika's love for Kelly was something that would never die, she could be sure of that. After a while, she groaned as Kelly pulled away. Hearing her words, she nodded. "O-okay," she replied, feeling Kelly's lips on her cheek. "I'll - I'll see see you later then," she said, before removing herself from Kelly, adn turning, walking back into the Great Hall.
