Juliette walked down to the courtyard. She wasn't sure how to feel about being at Hogwarts again. Sure she was glad to see her friends and Zeke but her parents wanted her to return to Beauxbatons but after hours of begging they let her come back. She sat down on a bench and sighed, it was extremely cold at the moment but she didn't want to go inside.

Ezekiel came outside, after his talk with Luke, and saw Juliette sitting by herself. He sighed and walked over to her. Sitting beside her, he wrapped his arms around her. It was cold out.
"Hey. What's wrong?" he asked, kissing the side of her face.

Juliette turned quickly to see who had sat down next to her. She noticed it was Zeke and she smiled. When he kissed the side of her face she sighed, "my parents want me home or at Beauxbatons" she answered, a small frown on her lips. She moved closer to him and kissed his cheek.

Ezekiel smiled at her as she smiled at him. He heard her sigh, and he looked a ther curiously. Se spoke, and it was Ezekiel's turn to sigh. "And? What do you want?" he asked her. She kissed his cheek, and he tried the tiniest of smiles. Great So, people were dying, and he was more than likely going to lose his girlfriend. "Why did they send you here in the first place if they want you back? I'm glad they did, but yeah."

Juliette opened her mouth to answer his first question but instead he asked another thing. "They sent me back beause I begged them to" she sighed, she was sure that if more people die, well they'll probably make her leave. She didn't want to leave and lose Zeke, she had only been at Hogwarts for a term!

"Oh," Ezekiel answered. Surely her parents wouldn't take her out already! She'd only been here a term. He didn't want to lose her. He couldn't lose her. He was pretty sure he'd be in pain if she left. "I't because of what's going on here, isn't? It'll be over soon anyway. They'll catch whose behind it, and everything'll be fine again. No one else is going to die," he said, pulling her closer.

Juliette sighed, "yeap. It is" she confirmed. When he pulled her closer and tried to assure her she shook her head, "and what if... what if it doesn't end? you're going to stay here? where all this is happening?" she shook her head, realising how gloomy that must how sounded. "I don't want to lose you" she admitted softly, looking down.

Ezekiel's eyes widened, as Juliette started going on about him stying in the UK. "Juliette. This is my home, of course I'm going to stay. Even with everything that's happening. As I said, it'll all be over soon. So, don't worry about it," he said. When she spoke again, he sighed. He kissed the top of her head affectionately. "I don't want to lose you either. I can't lose you," he admitted.

Juliette kept looking down when he said the UK was his home, "and France is mine" she added. She knew even after all this was over, after school she would end up in France again, nothing was going to change that. When he kissed the top of her head and spoke she closed her eyes, "then you won't" she told him. Opening her eyes she leant up and placed a small kiss on his lips.

Ezekiel sighed. Why was the only girl he couldn't bare to lose, the one he could lose so easily. "Yeah," he muttered, as she said France was her home. Their homes were a body of water apart. He sighed again. "Good," he said, as she said he wouldn't lose her. He returned her small kiss, wrapping his arms a little tighter around her, holding her close to his body. He never wanted to let go. All the stuff going on at the moment made that feeling all the more prominent.

Juliette sighed, feeling his arms tighten around her. She never wanted him to let go of her. She couldn't bare to loose him, not now not ever. Even after he had said everything would end soon she couldn't help but think it wouldn't. She had never had feelings like this before. She moved slightly, putting her head on his shoulder.

Juliette moved to put her head on his shoulder, and Ezekiel sighed, resting his head on top of hers. He pressed his lips to her hair over and over again. He moved them down over her forehead, then lifted her chin softly with a finger, and kissed her cheeks, the tip of her nose, before finally reaching her lips. "I won't let anything hurt you," he muttered against her lips.

Juliette smiled, feeling his lips against her hair and forehead. When he lifted her chin and kissed her cheeks, nose and lips she sighed. The next words he spoke made her feel safe for the first time after hearing about all the deaths. She moved one of her hands to his cheeks, "I - uh - Zeke, I love you" she said quickly, trying to get the words out quickly.

Ezekiel felt her hand on his cheek, and heard her words. His heart snagged. "I love you too, Juliette," he said, practically choking out the words as his throat constricted with emotion. This was the first time this war has actually effected him. That thought of losing her was too much to bear. He kissed her, slowly, deeply, lingeringly. He never wanted to let her go.
