This place was boring. The people were dismal, and didn't talk to anyone. Plus, her sister wasn't communicatingwith her either, being the big, bad Slytherin Prefect Janie was. Clare HATED it! She wanted to go back home! Why had their mother insisted they come back here? Janie didn't want to be here either, but she was a prefect, so she had it a little easier than Clare did.
The tiny Ravenclaw had no friends, and was one of the only Ravvies in her year! That made it VERY lonely all the time. But, no matter how much she whinged and whined, her mother wouldn't have a bar of it. "Hogwarts is safe now, you must be able to see that Clare-bear. I can't teach you forever. There are things that only a trained Professor knows, and I don't know them, so, my darling, you MUST do this. Or, you won't be able to do anything in your life."
Clare groaned at the memory of her mother's voice and slammed her book closed. Stupid History of Magic homework! That was boring too! She was SOOOOOOO over school... pity she had so much longer to go still.
