Alex knew just from the sight of Will's arm that it was broken, she had never seen someone break their arm that badly before from falling off their broom; she wasn't about to try to heal it herself since that would be incredibly foolish even though she knew how to heal a broken arm. "Ah it's okay, you just need to be more careful. Oh I can do that, I wouldn't leave you here in pain." she said then got up and offered out her hand.

"Thanks!" she replied, taking Alex's proffered hand with her own good one and hauling herself to her feet. "Strong grip you got there." she commented, observing the ease with which Alex helped her up. The effects of the cheer potion were starting to wear off now and she knew a down swing would undoubtedly follow. A bit like a hangover after too much drink. If she hadn't already embarrassed herself in front of Alex, she was bound to now. Never mind! she thought cheerfully. At least this hadn't been dull.

"Haha thanks, now hold still please; this might hurt a little bit but trust me, you'll feel better." Alex said then took off her Slytherin tie and tied it into a sling, slipping it over Will's head carefully; she gently took the other girl's arm and placed it into the temporary sling, normally she would never have done this for someone who had fallen onto the pitch but this time she was going to make an exception.

For once Will actually listened to the advice she was given and held still, watching Alex make the sling. It did hurt but once in the sling it felt a lot more comfortable. "Thank you. Look I'm wearing a Slytherin tie! That's what I get for being a complete noob." she muttered with a cheeky grin. She stuck her tongue out just in case Alex took it the insult seriously and then grabbed her broom with her other hand. "At least I didn't break my broom this time. They're more expensive to fix than bones." she giggled. "Oh well. Better get the the nurse so she can give me an earful." she moaned.

"Well if you're not more careful, you'll be wearing plenty more Slytherin ties. Honestly, I've never seen someone take a fall that hard before and only have a broken arm well from what I can see; you are definitely one tough girl and I totally respect that." Alex said as she pulled her blonde hair back into a ponytail and secured it with an elastic before grabbing her broom and began walking back towards the school.

Clear wandered out onto the Quidditch Pitch, looking around her. She had Sam's old broom in her hand. She wasn't entirely sure if she was actually going to fly or not, or just soak up the atmosphere that had once captivated her beloved cousin. The Firebolt in her hand seemed to buzz slightly, like it knew it was back outside on the Pitch where it belonged. Knowing no one here was a little scary, but it also meant a clean slate. No one knew her history, or why she was here, instead of still back at Durmstrang. No one knew about the dare... The dare... Those f**king boys that had essentially ruined her life. She hasn't been the same since. Everyone, even her, noticed it. Her aunt and uncle continuously tell her that Sam would be very angry at her over how she acted now, but seriously, if the same thing had happened to any of them, they'd really know how it felt to have your heart ripped from your chest and then ripped into little pieces and stomped on... all over a boy. Shaking her head vigourously to expel the memories, she raised a porcelin hand to a blue eye and wiped a tear from it, that had dared to escape it's blue confines. Looking down at the broomstick, then up to scan the Pitch, she sighed, missing her cousin.

Seemed like everything was rather calm at this school, which was odd considering what had happened the previous term; Alex wasn't one to start up any conflict but she knew something was bound to happen since it always did. At least it gave her time to deal with the issues she had left that brewed inside her, they were something she'd never discuss to anyone because no one needed to know. So as long as she acted like the slightly crazy, randomly happy girl that she pretended to be; then everything was going to be alright.
As she headed onto the pitch, the memory of her meeting Will came back and it made her chuckle slightly since now she was Alex's best friend. But other memories soon returned of the days when she played Quidditch, those were memories she hated to have return. Once she eventually mounted her broom, she kicked off and sped up into the sky; maybe here everything could be figured out for once.
