After that craziness out on the pitch, Alex decided to go for a walk along the lawns; she adjusted her scarf slightly, making sure that it was evenly across her neck so that it looked perfect then again practically anything looked perfect on her. She started replaying the whole situation back in her head, still quite astounded that she hadn't met Will before then but the girl seemed to definitely intrigue her more so than anyone else had before.

"ALEEEEEXXX!" Will shouted very loudly across the lawns, ignoring the snickering and taunts of people she passed. She was used to it, and sincerely didn't care. She'd changed ou of her Quidditch robes into a pair of black jeans and a bottle-green waistcoat over a short-sleeved white shirt: the collar of which was about 4 times the size of a regular collar and rested around her jawline, accentuating her long neck.
Tripping at least three times on the way she finally caught up with her new friend and stood there panting loudly through a huge grin.
"Wanted...gasp...to say...gasp...thanks." she managed to say.

Alex stopped in her tracks when she heard Will practically yelling at her, she turned around to see her new friend practically dashing towards her; she chuckled a bit and put her hands in the pockets of her blue jeans to keep herself from moving her hands around while she was talking. "You're welcome, I'm happy to see that you're all better now, you were lucky that you hadn't hurt yourself any further." she commented with a slight smile as she rocked back and forth on the heels of her sneakers.

Will got her breath back and nodded, waving her arm about.
"Yes, yes, all better! All ready to be broken again tomorrow!" she cried enthusiastically. "Oh, I almost forgot. Here, this is yours. Thanks so much for helping me out. I'd have been in a mess if you hadn't been there." she said a bit too quickly, holding out Alex's tie. "I cleaned and straightened it for you." she added, bouncing a little on the balls of her feet. "And look, I'm wearing green!" she cried, pulling at her waist coat. "Just for you!"

As Will began to speak quickly, Alex raised her left eyebrow slightly and giggled a little bit. "Ah thanks, I think I'd be in trouble if I didn't have this with the rest of my robes." she took her scarf off for a moment then unzipped her jacket slightly and put her Slytherin tie on so that she wouldn't lose it, it didn't exactly go with the rest of her outfit but she really didn't care. "So I see, I must say Will; green definitely looks good on you; shame you aren't a Slytherin in this case." After she had said that comment, she mentally slapped herself in the head since it sounded so stupid although it was too late to take it back.

Willow laughed loudly.
"Oh no, I'd be a terrible Slytherin. I'm not focused enough." she explained with a resigned shrug. "I don't think I have that ambition that you all seem to have." she added thoughtfully.
"So anyway, thanks. Again. Most people would have left me there." She suddenly laughed again and slapped her head. "Mind you I think I deserved it this time. Oooh, now that hurt." she said, rubbing her temples gently. "Think the come-down has started." she explained sheepishly.

"Ah well most people are a tad stupid, I only try to do the right thing, mind you that is a challenge considering people only see me as a "evil" Slytherin who's selfish and greedy." Alex said with a slight shrug as she decided to take a seat on the grass even though she'd rather not get her jeans dirty, it didn't matter anyways considering this wasn't like her uniform or anything. "Ugh, well..that's lovely." she replied then frowned slightly as she noticed people looking at her then laughing, what was it about Alex that people seemed to be able to pull punches over her now?

Willow dropped onto the ground next to Alex without a second thought. Stains weren't something she particularly worried about. Stains always came off anyway. She looked at Alex in surprise, though.
"Why do people think you're selfish and evil? You seem very nice to me." she asked, slightly confused. It was true, Alex hadn't shown the slightest int of nastiness inherent of most Slytherins.

Alex turned her attention away from people who speaking of her again and looked back at Will and shrugged slightly at her question. "I used to be that way, well before I was around to witness the Great War, I saw things that no 15 year old should witness which changed me." she said then looked down a little bit and rested her hands on the ground, trying to ignore all the other words that were being said about her.

Willows eyes glazed a little when Alex mentioned the war. She didn't like thinking about that stuff. Reality wasn't really Willow's best friend. She listened patiently, though.
"Well...the war's over now. And we're still here. And I don't really care about who you used to be. It's who you are now that's important, isn't it? Else what's the point in changing?" she concluded sounding far too insightful for her liking.

After Will had spoke, Alex looked at her and smiled slightly; that was the most brilliant thing that she had heard in a little while. "Exactly, obviously other people don't see that but that doesn't matter at all." she said with a slight shrug then kept her attention on her new friend and totally tuned out what anyone else was saying, she didn't care anymore.

"So...like what's your favourite class?" she asked for want of something else to ask. She suddenly realised she knew next to nothing about Alex.

Alex fiddled around with her tie strictly only for something to do, usually that was done out of boredom but not this time around. "My favourite class is Care of Magical Creatures, I'm quite interested in learning about different animals from our world, I've worked with a Phoenix before, definitely interesting creature that is." she commented with a slight smile as she remembered how incredible that actually was.

"Ooh cool. I'd love to see a Phoenix. My second cousin is seriously into Magical Creatures. I swear some of them she makes up, though. She and her husband go all around the world studying them. I'd love to do something like that." she said excitedly, but in a distant airy voice.
"I love Transfiguration too. But the most fun is Potions." she suddenly began giggling. "As you saw from my performance earlier."
