Professor Hedwig's Office

[Simon Hedwig]

Simon laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's ok, I just wasn't expecting it." she told her. "We should definitely go on that date. But I can't tonight, I have some work to do in the forest. The Unicorns need attending to I'm afraid." he said apologetically. "But I'm free tomorrow. Where would you like to go?" he asked, taking her hands in his and smiling.

Caitlyn looked up at Simon and nodded sadly. "You want some help? I could..." She stopped when she remembered that she wasn't an animal person. "Actually maybe it would best if I didn't go with you." she said as he took her hands into his. "How about the tea shop in Hogsmeade? Or the Three Broomsticks, the choice is yours."

Simon held his breath when she began to suggest she came with him. What would he say?
"Sorry, the other girl I kinda like is coming too? He didn't think that was a good idea. He didn't know what he was doing here. He didn't want to lie to either of them, he liked them both, he just didn't know which one he liked the most. The only way to find out was to spend more time with them, but he also didn't want to lead either of them on. Part of him just wanted to tell them both the truth, but then that could end in them either competing for his affection, or else losing both of them. He didn't want either of those things. He sighed inwardly.
"Well...how about the teashop? I haven't been in there for years. Shall we go after dinner tomorrow night?" he asked, smiling softly. H'ed go on this date and see how it went. He'd see Liz tonight and see how that went. Then maybe he'd know a little more about how he felt. It seemed so secretive, but he could think of no other way to handle the situation.

Caitlyn smiled and nodded when he agreed to the teashop. "It's a date. We can meet in the enterance hall." She told wishing their date would come faster. "When are you leaving to attend the unicorns?"

Simon nodded with a smile, sqeezing her hands gently.
"A date it is." he agreed. "We'll have to make sure w don't eat too much at dinner, then we can have dessert at the teashop." he suggested.
He quickly looked at his clock and realised it was already 7:58pm.
"Well now actually." he chuckled. "If I dont go now I won't be back before midnight. I was just getting my stuff together when you came in." he explained.

Simon unlocked his office and held the door open for Liz. He flicked his wand at the candles, which all flickered alight, giving the room a comforting glow. He walked over to his desk and pulled out a box from the drawer.
"One chocolate cake." he grinned. He magicked up a comfy chair for Liz to sit in and conjured some tea. He sat down in his own chair and sighed, wincing a little at his hand.
"Not exactly what I had in mind for us tonight, but at least it ends with chocolate." he smiled.

Liz smiled as he held the door open and walked into his office, smiling as the candles lit up. It gave the warm a nice cosy feeling and after what had happened she needed it.
"Yum," she said as she saw the box it was in. As a chair was conjoured for her, she sat down and took a sip of her tea. Yeah she definitely needed this. It was calming. "And anything that ends in chocolate has to be good. I don't mind because I got to spend it with you and that's all I wanted," shesaid softly.
She had seen the pain pass over his face and got up, settling on the floor by his hand. "Let me see." Gently she took his hand and examined the cut, thankful that it hadn't been a bite. "It's not as bad as it looks. Just skin deep. It hasn't cut any muscles." With a flick of her wand, she summoned some salve from the hospital wing and some bandages. She pasted the salve over the cut and then wrapped the bandage around it pinning it down. "There, that should stay."

Simon watched almost mesmerised as Liz nelt beside him and began examing his hand. She was so gentle. He watched silently as she bandaged up his wound. With his other hand he played with the strands of hair that fell in her face, noting how soft and silky it was. He looked at her face as she finished and spoke giving her a smile.
"Thank you." he said quietly. The fingers playing with her hair touched her cheek, stroking her soft skin. He wasn't used to being looked after and felt such a deep affection for her it made his heart ache. He brushed her hair back from her face and tucked it gently behind her ear, the affectionate smile never leaving his lips.
He took both her hands and pulled her up and onto his knee, sliding a hand around her waist. The other hand went back to her hair and face, stroking her cheek with his thumb and running his fingers down her jaw to catch the tip of her chin. He pulled her face towards him and moved his own forward to met hers. His lips touched hers softly.

"You're welcome," Liz whispered, feeling pleased that she had managed to at least heal it for the time being. She hadn't had to heal someone in a while. As his fingers stroked her cheek, she smiled at him, enjoying the affectionate feeling it brought across. She really liked him and as he pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, she smiled even more. Her hair had never stayed in the right place, but now she was thankful because it gave her more cause to feel his touch.
As he pulled her up she helped him, not wanting him to be in too much pain. Sitting on his knee, she blushed softly realising how much he cared about her and rested one of her hands on his chest, near his heart, feeling the steady rhythm. Her eyes never left his as his fingers softly ran down her face. When he brought her face towards his, she closed her eyes and the felt the softness of his lips against hers. She kissed him slowly, bringing her other hand to his face, cupping it gently, before she opened her mouth a little and pushed her tounge against his, wondering whether she was taking things too fast.

Simon sighed into the kiss as he felt her return it. He ran his hand up her neck and through her hair, holding her head as she held his. He was mildly surprised when he felt her tongue press into his mouth. After a moment, though he reciprocated, pushing his own against hers slowly and sensually. He was in no rush with their relationship, but he couldn't deny this was nice. Very nice.
He brushed her hair back out of her face, its unruly tendrils wrapping around his fingers. It was so soft. So were her lips. He loved the way they felt against his. He felt like he could just sit here kissing her forever. His whole body felt comfortably warm, he was totally relaxed. He felt so at ease with her. He couldn't explain it but he felt like he'd been searching or waiting for something and had finally found it; like every path in his life had been leading to Elizabeth.

Liz felt as if she was dreaming, there was no possible way she could be kissing this amazing guy who was kissing her back. When she felt his tounge push against hers she knew she was definitley awake, but it was still wonderful. It didn't matter what he said about not having a relationship in ages, he definitley remembered how to kiss. She wasn't going to rush it though, not after her last rushed one. Anyways, she felt happy taking it slow with Simon.
Feeling his fingers brushing her hair back she sighed happily, it felt nice and caring. Finally she broke away and leaned her head on his chest, stroking his cheek gently. "Thank you for tonight, I somehow don't care that it was interrupted by a werewolf. It was really nice and I loved every moment of seeing the unicorns."

Simon sighed as Liz rested her head against his chest and he stroked her hair softly. He rested his chin on the top of her head, occasionally turning it to kiss her hair or forehead.
"You're welcome." he replied with a bemused smile. "I like to keep my dates exciting, you know...a werewolf here, a vampire there...keep the ladies on their toes." he joked.
He just sat there with Liz in his lap, enjoying her company and her closeness. His mind flickered briefly to Emilia, wondering if she was alright. He felt sad for her all of a sudden. And then there was Caitlyn. He'd have to talk to her before their date; explain to her that he couldn't see her now. That was going to be awkward. He sighed again. In Romania it had been so simple. Now all of a sudden he had 3 women with feelings for him, and he had feelings for only one. He didn't want anyone to be hurt, but it was inevitable.
He looked down at Liz's head and smiled, pushing Emilia and Caitlyn from his mind. Nothing mattered but Liz now. Nothing.

Liz had to smile as Simon's hands stroked her hair and the occaisonal kiss was easily welcomed by her point of view. She loved that he rested his chin on her head it felt really nice and calming.
She looked up at him slightly as he talked and laughed. "Well next time I expect Vampires, I think one werewolf featured date is enough don't you? Besides you already know how fast I am on my... shall we say... paws."
It had definitely been a wirlwind of a day, what with her talk with Magesta, then the meeting with Simon, then the talk with Kit and then the date in the forest. Magesta was definitely going to be in for a surprise when she found out that she was now going to be seeing Simon a lot more. She couldn't believe that she'd never met Simon before, even before he went off to Romania, though she was defintiely going to thank whatever made him come back.
"I wonder what Krys is going to say," she thought aloud her facial features creasing into worry. She didn't want Krysta to think she was trying to steal her place in Simon's heart, much the opposite, but it did worry her a little.

Simon opened his eyes wide as Liz mentioned his sister. He hadn't even thought of that. How would she take it?
"Well..." Simon began thoughtfully. "I know she likes you. I think the question would be whether she think I'm taking you away from her. She kind of sees you as her confidante. And of course she may find it a bit weird. It must be odd enough having me as a teacher, let alone having my girlfriend as ateacher too." he speculated. He honestly didn't know what Krysta would feel about the relationship.
"I suppose we'll just have to wait and see." he concluded, giving her a gentle squeeze and kissed her head again. "Don't worry too much." he added reassuringly. "We shouldn't keep it from her, though. Not that there's any point, she'll know something's up...she always does." he mused with a slight grin.

Liz smiled listening to Simon, he seemed to always have the best answers. "I would never let you steal me fully away. I do have a job to keep you know," she said grinning. "Do you mind having your girlfriend as a teacher?" she asked looking up at him. Truthfully Krys wouldn't have anything to worry about, she'd still be around for talks and she'd even promise not to discuss things with Simon unless Krysta gave her the okay to do so. As he kissed her head she sighed and nodded slightly. "I won't worry, but you're right, she'll sense our auras even if we try keeping them hidden." She smirked slightly and then sat up leaning forward to get the chocolate cake and cut two slices from it, she transfigured two books into plates and put the cake on them. "Don't worry I'll clean teh chocolate off when I change them back," she said reassuringly as she handed him his plate.
