Caitlyn stared at Simon for a moment before a smile escaped her lips. "Really? I'm not mad, I was actually going to ask if we could cancel." She let out a soft sigh and looked up at him. "I'm glad you found someone, to be honest with you, so have I in a way." She said remembering Dmetri and the conversation they had in the library. "We can still be friends though, he you want to that is."

As Cailtlyn began to say she'd met someone too Simon's face broke into a huge smile.
"Oh thank goodness! I mean...not that...I'm happy for us both if you know what I mean. I'm just glad I didn't upset you! I've been so worried about telling you. I was afraid you'd hate me, and of course I'd love to stay friends." he grinned, shaking his head at how worked up he'd been about explaining it to her.

Caitlyn smiled as Simon spoke with relief. "It takes a lot to upset me." She reassured him. She let out a small laugh as she two felt relief escape her. "So this girl of yours, do I know her?"

"Well I'm glad there's no harm done." he said with a genuine smile. "Yes, you do know her. It's Liz Peterson the Transfiguration teacher. We met over the holiday ad when we cam back here we just kind of...hit it off." he explained. He couldn't help smiling just at the thought of her. "So who is the lucky man that's caught your pretty eyes?" he enquired with a warm, friendly smile.

Ah, Liz, well she was definately a good choice for him, friendly and everything. Caitlyn noticed the smile on his face and couldn't help but smile as well. "She makes you happy, that's good." She said and blushed slightly as he asked who caught her eyes. "Well, it's Demtri, the new Russian librarian. We actually just met." She laughed nervously as she again motioned to the book. "He's really cool though, and smart."

Simon nodded, still smiling.
"Ah right. I haven't met him yet. Well I'm glad this turned out ok. I've been dreading telling you for hours. And now at least it looks like we can all be happy." he said, shaking his head at his own silliness. "You'll have to keep me up to date with how it's going." he added with a grin.

Caitlyn nodded, she too have been worrying, and now, now they both had someone, though with her it was a working process. "No need to worry, though I was slightly nervous to tell you too. Of course I'll keep you up to date, what are friends for right?"
