Elizabeth nodded, that made so much sense. Anyways, wants should come first if she needed it then she'd get it later. "He isn't," Liz said rolling her eyes. She felt like a school girl herself defending her crush. Hearing how loud Mag's voice went she raised both eyebrows and smirked. "You do know that if you want to go talk to him, he's right next door right?" she asked teasingly. "I only brought him up because you mentioned him first. And anything will bring back memories of Quidditch yet you've never perked up before now," she said diplomatically as if stating a case. She laughed as she was threatened. "Mag, you never threaten me unless you like a guy, which can only mean that you like him. But I promise not to tell anyone. I'm not the one who likes playing Cupid."

Magesta looked at Liz, "I'm fully aware where his office is." She listened to Liz talk and rolled her eyes as she said with a wave of her hand, "That's beside the point." She looked thoughtful for a moment then shook her head, "That's not true. I've threatened you before you just never heed my threats. And I know you won't. But Ms. Peters might...she was at the store," she said with a sigh.

"Oh good just making sure you knew," Liz said trying to keep a straight face. She couldn't help teasing Magesta, but she knew that she'd recieve her own fair share of teasing. Heck, she had growing up! "No it's not, you just choose to ignore the point," she giggled before turning her head, regaining her composure. She rolled her eyes, her threats never meant anything though, but she did know when to take them seriously, well semi seriously. "Oh now she will probably enjoy playing cupid. How much of your conversation was she there for?" she asked curiously. Rumours had gotten to the staff about her matchmaking, and she wondered whether Ms. Peters would actually get Magesta and Lucien together.

Magesta rolled her eyes and looked at her friend. "Typical Liz." She fiddled with the figure in her hands and then set it on the table, "And your point is? I've always been good at that." She sighed again and sat back, "Yea, I know she will. She was there for...enough...to make her own assumptions. We spent most of the time talking about Quidditch, teaching and the new broom he was getting."

Liz watched Magesta carefully noticing how she fiddled with the figurine for a moment. "That's true, just like I've always been good at ignoring your threats." She shook her head, Ms. Peters was going to have a lot of work if she wanted to get Magesta together, although if she'd made her own assumptions... "Well if she heard you both long enough to make decisions, you may be in for a spectacular term. Hmm maybe you two could go flying sometime," she considered knowing how much Magesta loved flying.

Magesta laughed, "That is true. You've always been good at that." She looked up and smiled as she said with a laugh, "It's just a good thing I love you so much." She shook her head and sighed contently, "Yea...spectacular. I thought about that actually, but it seems a bit...I don't know. Cliche? The flying professor suggesting to go fly around a bit." She laughed.

"Yup, just like I love you my dear Magesta," Liz said knowing full well that 'Maggie' would earn her a kick up the butt or a glare at last. She laughed as the cliche made itself known to her as well. "Yup it does. Sorry I've spent way to long looking at those essays," she said pointing to the pile of marked papers she'd done earlier. "Hmmm well maybe a trip to the Three Broomsticks? Just as friends?"

Magesta laughed, "And that's why I'm glad I don't have to mark papers." She looked thoughtful for a moment, "Hmm...a drink...could be good. Though...maybe you and Simon could come along as well. If we're going for the whole just friends thing."

Elizabeth shook her head, "Yes it's times like this when I envy your position in teaching." Then again flying was always Mag's forte where as Transfiguration was hers. "Drinks would definitely be good, you can talk so much over drinks about anything and everything." Her head raised up as she heard the last part and eyed her friend warily. "Um... bring Simon? You want me to ask Simon... um yeah-okay I guess."

Magesta laughed, "Yes, but I never really liked doing anything else. Even if I was good at it." She smiled, "Alright that sounds like a good idea. Drinks it is then." She looked up at Liz and smiled, "Yes, bring Simon. If you want me to ask Lucien you have to bring Simon. It'll be fun. Like the old days."

Liz rolled her eyes but couldn't help a grin coming to her lips. "Drinks is defintely the best idea," she agreed sighing as she realised that she was cornered by her own plan. "Fine I'll ask Simon only if you go next door after this to see Lucien." She smiled remebering the old days when they used to go on double dates together. "Fun it is then."

Magesta bit her lip thoughtfully. Talk to Lucien right after this? Oh dear. She looked up at Liz and sighed in defeat, "Fine. I'll go right after this." She swallowed nervously. What am I going to say? She hated this feeling of nervousness. She never got nervous usually why it only happened with guys was beyond her. Deciding to change the topic she sat back as her mind worked frantically forming a plan for talking to Lucien, "So what are you teaching the students this term?"

Liz smirked, knowing she had Magesta trapped. Part of her hoped that she would say no so she wouldn't have to ask Simon. "Good and while you go do that I'll see if I can find Simon to ask him." Though what I'll say is another matter "Oh I started teaching the basis of animagus transformation at the end of last term, so we'll be continuing that. It does help that I have at least two students that are already full animgui, although I'm not sure if they're both registered yet." She knew Krys wasn't but she didn't know whether Kelly was... oh that was going to be a fun lesson... asking Kelly. "What do you plan on doing with the new brooms then?" she asked.

Magesta nodded, "Yes, you will." She smirked and listened to her explain. She knew who one of the animagi was. Sometimes she liked being able to hear thoughts but other times...she sighed. "Interesting, well we started with basic Quidditch techniques. I think I might continue that since I only have one first year in my class. The older students seem to like it better as well. Maybe we'll have a scrimmage or two, you should come out and watch. The students take Quidditch very seriously." Too seriously some times. Which was dangerous when tempers were running high.

"I may actually," Liz said, she needed to get out more, her skin was becoming more and more pale. "Just tell me when you plan on having them and if I'm not teaching, I'll make sure to come and watch." She would be near Simon as well, but he'd probably be teaching or something. "I should hope they take it seriously. It's a dangerous sport. Then again, Transfiguration is dangerous as well, so I'm going to have to empathise the seriousness of it again."
