"Thanks Krysta, that means a lot." Ellie said and looked around the room. She was always a little jumpy around everyone, ever since she almost let slip of her, well her loyalties. She took out a piece of parchment and quill. I think Kildara might be onto me. She scribbled, before folding the note and gave it to Krysta. "We're letting it be a surprise, we wanted to wait till the day he or she comes out." She said with a slight smile. With everyone asking however, she wanted to know right away. "If you want, you can touch, I know a lot of people always like touching the baby's bump for some reason." Krys took the note from Ellie and looked up at her sharply with concern. She srunched up the parchment in her palm and glared at it. It disappeared in a tiny puff of smoke. "Are you sure?" she murmured quietly. This was extremely worrying. Ellie was in an extremely vulnerable situation right now. Kildara wouldn't think twice of threatening her child's life to get what she wanted. "You need to tell Serena." she murmured again, looking at Ellie sternly. "Does Andrew know?" she asked, her voice merely a whisper. She smiled weakly ut reached out to touch Ellie's belly. A smile instantly filled her face. She could feel the baby's life force running through her fingers. It was amazing, like nothing she'd felt before: so pure, so new and vulnerable. Her eyes welled up and she smiled at Ellie. "I can feel...do you want to know what it is?" she asked. Her empathic abilities could sense the baby so clearly. "Or do you want it to be a surprise?" She gasped and laughed lightly as she felt the baby respond to her, a tiny light reaching out to her own life force. "Oh Ellie...it's so beautiful." she breathed. Ellie watched as Krysta read the note and saw it disappear. "I know, I already told Andrew and we both agreed to go to her together. I'm going to find him after class if he doesn't show and then go to her." She let out a deep breath and looked Krysta in the eyes. "I'm scared Krysta, and not because of me, I'm scared for the baby." Ellie watched as Krysta's face lit up when she touched the bump and smiled as well. "Wait, you know what gender the baby is?" She asked excitedly. "Tell me." She said, but something nagged at her and she shook her head. "No, I have to wait, we said we would wait." |

Amanda smiled softly, she was feeling a lot better. "Thanks Krysta. That really makes me feel good to know that I've got people looking out for me." She never had that before, she was one who protected herself which at times wasn't always a good idea. "No worries. No one tries to hurt my friends and gets away with it. I'll find them, don't worry. Maybe you should tell me more about these old teachers of yours." she said, suddenly curious to know exactly why Amanda thought they wanted to take her out. "Alright, I had 5 professors in total last year, Professor Draconis Blackheart, charms professor and the Headmistress's husband, Professor Raven Blackheart, transfiguration professor and the Headmistress, Professor Amy Bradshaw, defence against the dark arts professor, Professor Max Brewer, potions professor and Professor Dominique Leblanc, care of magical creatures professor. They all thought that I was the most brilliant student they ever taught though they also believed I was way too smart for my own good and then there were disappearences around with the Professors, at any one time there were like 3 of them gone and it all seemed too strange, they knew I was picking up on what was happening but they tried to create diversions to get me off their tail" She said softly, using very little of her voice. |

Ellie watched as Krysta read the note and saw it disappear. "I know, I already told Andrew and we both agreed to go to her together. I'm going to find him after class if he doesn't show and then go to her." She let out a deep breath and looked Krysta in the eyes. "I'm scared Krysta, and not because of me, I'm scared for the baby." Ellie watched as Krysta's face lit up when she touched the bump and smiled as well. "Wait, you know what gender the baby is?" She asked excitedly. "Tell me." She said, but something nagged at her and she shook her head. "No, I have to wait, we said we would wait." Krys nodded, glad that they were going to see Serena. "Listen, Ellie, if you ever feel like you want someone to go anywhere with you, if you ever feel unsafe just come and find me. I'll happily be your bodyguard if you ever feel you want one." she said with a soft smile at the finish. She gave Ellie's hand a reassuring squeeze. She could feel Ellie's fear and worry and wanted to make her feel safe. She leant back with a nod and a grin when Ellie struggled to decide whether to learn the sex of the baby. "I think you should stick to the decision you and Andrew made together. He'd be so upset if he found out you knew before he did. But if you both change your mind, I'll tell you." she offered. She giggled. It was odd knowing tis secret about someone else's unborn child. She felt rather strange actually. "If it helps at all, the baby seems to be perfectly happy and healthy in there." she said. "Have you thought of any names yet?" Krysta's face was a frown as she listened to Amanda's story. "What exactly do you think the teachers were doing? Who was going missing? Did they have a reason to make these people disappear?" she asked, thinking the whole thing sounded very strange indeed. "I mean, do you believe they were being killed, or just being kidnapped and held somewhere?" she added, wondering if there could possibly be an innocent explanation for any of this. it didn't seem likely, though. |

Ellie let out a sigh and shook her head. "I already am putting Andrew and our baby in danger, I'm not going to put anyone else in danger as well, I'm sorry." She said, her mind still on the conversation she had with Kildara. She shook her head again and looked at Krysta. "Thanks Krysta, I'm glad that you respect that, I wanted four months not knowing, I think I can't wait another five." She said getting excited again, soon, very soon she will have her beautiful son or daughter. Her smile grew when she said the baby was beautiful and healthy. "Thank you, thank you so much Krysta!" She exclaimed and hugged her friend. "Now, don't think about the gender and we're good." She whispered while still embraced in the hug.

Krys smiled softly.
"Ellie, believe me: you couldn't put me in any more danger if you tried." she said dryly, but with a smile. "I'm already on Dara's hitlist. I may as well put myself to good use whilst I'm on it. Trust me, you don't have to worry about my safety. Let me worry about yours. The offer's always open, should you decide to take it." she said, and left the matter at that. She would look out for Ellie anyway.
