"I have. Funnily enough, the brooms were inside Magesta's budget. How she did it, I don't know." Kildara laughed. "Oh. Surely there's more to Caitlyn McFuzz than that!" she chuckled. McFuzz. What an odd name! She'd never really thought about it until then! "That's good. Doesn't matter, as long as you're lesson is planned before you run it!" she laughed.

Caitlyn laughed, she couldn't figure out how the brooms could be in a budget, but it wasn't really her business, and she was never good at math. She shook her head. "Nope, just a boring life for me, I guess meeting this one guy would be something, but other than that, boring old life." She said and let out a sigh. "I really got to figure what else to do with it."

Kildara smiled, shrugging her shoulders. "Ohh. So you met someone did you? Already. Well done," she smiled widely. Everytime sonmeone spoke about finding someone, or how happy they are, her thoughts always drifted to Caeleb. Oh how she loved him! "Do I know this lucky fellow?" She shrugged again. "Well, you're here now. There'll be loads of opportunities to make things of your life." She smiled again.

Caitlyn nodded, smiling at Kildara. "You should know him, he works here, the librarian, Dmetri." She said, and her smile grew more as she thought about their soon to be date. "I'm actually going out with him tonight, I'm hoping we hit it off." She admitted. She looked at the headmistress and nodded again. "Know anything that's going on now? Something that I could get involved in?"

"Oh. Very nice. He's a very nice specimen," Kildara laughed heartily. "Not exactly my kind of 'specimen'" she laughed again. "I like mine with a little more, shall we say, colour. And warmth," she added, her smile widening, her thoughts drifting back to Caeleb again. When Caitlyn spoke again, Kildara broke out of her reverie. "Hmm. Anything that's going on. There are things. I suppose there are. If there is, I'm not really included, it seems. I'm the most popular person in this place. Seems like people can't let go of the past, and give me a chance." Kildara shrugged. Caitlyn seemed like she'd be a good asset. But she wasn't about to just ask her to join.

Caitlyn raised an eyebrow at Kildara as she spoke of Dmetri as a speciman. She shook her head, maybe the headmistress was slightly out of her mind, speaking of a human being like that. "Well, I hope everything turns out right for us." She looked at the headmistress and nodded yet again. "I'll have to keep my eye out, normally I can see things others can't, people used to call me a freak for it." She said softly and continued. "If you don't mind, you keep talking about your past, what happened?"

"Everyone deserves to be happy," Kildara commented, the smile that had affixed itself to her face, never leaving it. She was giddy again. All this talk about dates and the like. She wished her and Caeleb could go out on a proper date. Instead of just snatched moments when no one could see them. "We're all special here. I read minds, don't have a a wand, you see things," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "My past. You seriously don't know do you? I just got out of Azkaban. 5 years. I was Voldemort's Second," she said quietly.

Caitlyn nodded in agreement, everyone did deserve to be happy, no matter what. "Do you have someone special in your life? A woman such as yourself surely can't be single." She said. She looked down at her lesson plans before looking back at Kildara. "No I don't." She said when she asked if she really didn't know. She was shocked to hear about her past, to know she was on the dark side in the past. "It's the past though, why cna't people see that you're not the same as you were then, I can't stand people like that."

Kildara's breath caught in her throat as Caitlyn asked her if she had anyone special. "I - uh - umm ... it's complicated. Not to mention illegal," she muttered. She wanted to tell someone. Needed to tell someone. Maybe Caitlyn could be that person that knew. "I'll tell you if promise not to tell anybody. And I mean anybody." She took a deep breath. "You know Caeleb Dracus, in Seventh Year. Slytherin?" she enquired. "He's my special person." She all dreamy for a moment, a large smile on her face. Then she chuckled, embarrassed. "But, we can't tell anyone, can't be public. Can't go out on a date. It's frustrating. I want to tell everybody how much I love him. But I can't. I've never loved anyone like this," she sighed. She chuckled, sighing at the same time, her cheeks going red. "We are having to take other people to the ball now as well. People are starting to get whiff of something. Hopefully the false relationships will help." she mused. "Oh Caitlyn. He's perfect. I know you're probably thinking how disgusting it is. Yes, he's 11 years younger than me. But, I - I can't deny how much I love him. How much I need him. How he makes me feel. He's adorable," she breathed. She sighed again, leaning back in her chair. "Thanks for listening to that. You're the first person I've told," she apologised.

Caitlyn watched and listened to Kildara go on about a seventh year student, a huge smile on her face. "Oh Kildara, I'm so happy for you, congratulations!!! I promise I won't tell a soul." She said grinning happily. "I hope everything works out between the two of you, I really do." She definately was happy, it seemed like her and Kildara were starting to be great friends, something she had always wanted but never had. "I'm glad you did, I feel like I have a best friend, sorry, it's just I never had someone to talk about all this stuff with."

Kildara smiled, her face still pink, and she was still feeling slightly flustered. "Thank you. I sort of wish I could have chosen someone that would make all this easier. Someone I could tell people about. Someone I can walk around with, go out to dinner with, without people muttering under their breaths, or potentially losing my job. But, I don't care anymore. I've never someone like this before. I feel like I'm going to burst," she chuckled. She stopped babbling as Caitlyn spoke. "That's great. Then best friends we will be," she chuckled. "I've never had anyone to talk to about things either."

Caitlyn nodded, she didn't know what it felt like, to have to go behind everyone's backs to date someone you love. "It must be very hard, I can only imagine. Of course Dmetri will be my first." She said smiling, she couldn't get him out of her mind. "Then this is a first for both of us. I'm so excited, I feel like a school girl again." She laughed trying to hide her embarrasment.

"Yes, it is. I feel as though I'm going to burst, all the time. We can't even look at each other anymore. There are rumours going around, and we've been so careful," Kildara sighed, shrugging. Stuff got around this school like you wouldn't believe. It was ridiculous. No one could have secrets anymore. Not with all the bloody Legilimens and Mind-Readers running around. "Yes. Oh I know. I never anyone like this, even at school. No need to be embarrassed. Just because we're older now, doesn't mean we can't act like this." She laughed as well, her cheeks were quite pink. This was fun!

Caitlyn laughed and nodded again. "The only difference is..." She started and waved her wand. Immediately two goblets and a bottle of firewhiskey appeared on her desk. "We can drink." She laughed and waved her wand again and watched as the goblets filled with the alcohol. She picked up hers and nodded to Kildara. "That is if you want to drink."

"Oh, my dear, you are an angel!" Kildara laughed, gratefully taking the glass. She raised her glass in a silent toast, then took a sip. "Not that it's really much of a difference. Me and Firewhiskey are old buddies," she chuckled. "So, what were you like at school? You're younger than me right? I'm 28."
