Common Room

[michelle]

Michelle looked between Alex and Danika and nodded, "of course I won't Danika. Promise" she said smoothly and chuckled when Danika muttered something, "I wish I don't have them either" she muttered back, "anyway. Not like this hasn't been fun but I'm going to go" she said before walking out of the common room.

Alex smiled softly as his sister promised not to turn out like Danika. "Good" he mumbled before his sister walked out of the room. "So anyway, how've you been Dani?" he asked changing the subject.

[Danika Peverell]

Danika gave Michelle a smile as she promised, then walked from the room. She turned back to Alex, and shrugged. "Confused, if you must know. I have no idea what's going on with me. But, other than that, I'm good. I'm in good working order," she chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. "How have you been? Hows Mel?"

Alex nodded, "more boy troubles?" he asked raising an eyebrow, knowing her it was boy troubles. "I've been good and yeah Mel's good. I haven't seen her much though" he said with a shrug. "So tell me Dani, what's on your mind?"

[Danika Peverell]

"Yeah, you could say that," Danika groaned. She hated feelings. They annoyed the hell out of her. "Well, that's good," she said, giving him a smile. "What's on my mind? I still love Kelly, is what's on my mind. And now Tyson has decided to show more interest in me than usual. And now I feel bad, because I sort of like Tyson, and I still love Kelly. Even though I know there is no way in hell me and Kelly could get back together. And I also feel bad because Raven's left," she sighed, saying it all rather fast, just to get it out.

Alex stared at Dani with wide eyes, "wow" was all he could say for a second. He recovered after a minute and shook his head, "and this all happened within a few days of being back at school? or did it happen during the holidays to?" he asked, "so glad i'm not you" he replied as a brotherly way.

Danika managed a laugh at Alex's reaction. "Well, the still loving Kelly bit, has been happening since we broke up before the holidays. The Raven thing happened when we got back, and the Tyson thing has been brewing for a while, but, he's showing actual interest in me now. Not the, 'let's see how long we can deny Danika Peverell for' that he's been keeping up for years." she sighed. "Yeah we'll I'm glad I'm not you, so we're even," she chuckled in a sisterly way. "How were your holidays?" she asked.

Alex laughed and decided not to comment, he had no idea what to say to her love troubles that was Michelles area. "Holidays were good, we went to Italy and saw cousins I had no idea I had and met some pretty hot chicks" he said with a wink to show he was kidding about the last bit.

[Danika Peverell]

Danika laughed, shaking her head. "Oh dear, Alex, I might have to tell Mel on you," she chuckled to show she was joking. "Wish my holidays were that good. I stayed with Dara, and Caeleb was there all the bloody time!" she groaned.

Alex smirked, "weren't that good" he said with a shrug. "Aw, poor you!.... I don't even what to know why Caeleb was there" he said realising something and chuckled softly. He swung his legs over the lounge and sat back so he was comfortable.

Danika nodded. "You definately don't want to know. Grr. I should have moved bedrooms it was that bad," she groaned, folding her legs up onto the couch, so they were crossed in front of her.

"Oi!" he shouted and throw a crunched up piece of paper at her head, "I said I didn't want to know and you told me" he stuck his tongue out at her and laughed.

Danika laughed and threw the paper back at him. "That's exactly why I said it. Because you told me not to!" she chuckled.

Dani looked at the homework infront of her, disgusted that this was NEWT level at Hogwart but she knew it'd be useless to try and attempt to do it, her mind was thoroughly stuck on her Defence class. Sebastian Morter.....at her school, or rather she at his. Swallowing heavily, she grabbed her ink pot, suddenly thankful that the homework was simple and she didn't have to think.

She paused, closing her eyes. He was taken and had considered her a best friend for a long time. She snorted, knowing that's all she ever meant to men, either a one hit wonder of a good friend, she never had been able to get girlfriend status, well not in a relationship that actually lasted. Slowly her quill began scratching furiously over the paper, but her anger evaporated quickly. She knew who she was, and frankly being single was fun. More fun than being taken anyway. She hated being pulled down, shuddering Daniele placed the homework on the table, folding her feet and resting them on the edge she chewed at the thought wishing her mother was more a mum than a teacher.

[Caeleb Dracus]

Caeleb entered the Common, the smirk still on his face. It was a long time since he'd seen Max and a LOT had happened. He wondered what brought him back to Hogwarts. When Max had left he himself had not been at the school. He had still been suspended for using the cruciatus curse on Krysta. In fact they'd never really had a chance to talk about that. Not that Max had ever been a friend of Krysta, but he hadn't condoned the attack either.
Then there was his Dad's relationship with Dara. It was a bit creepy when you thought about it. He was now in a relationship with his mate's ex Mother-in-law-to-be. He laughed to himself and dropped onto a sofa. He grabbed a Hogwarts gazette off the coffee table and snorted. That girl wrote the most ridiculous trash. He tossed it into the fire and picked up a Daily Prophet instead.
"Let's see what the sheep are upto today shall we?" he said to himself as he skimmed the front page. He setled down to await the arrival of his old friend.
