"Bonjour Jennifer," Bella said smoothly smiling. It was obvious that although the girl was trying to hide it she was from France. And being Italian and having a love of languages Bella knew some french. "Oh that's why I haven't seen you around before. I'm sorry you had to move, but hopefully you'll like Hogwarts alot more." She giggled as she mentioned the table manners. "Trust me, it is normally punishable here as well. Just some people don't know their manners." She wasn't just talking about Aidan, but Sam as well, though he has gotten better. "Jennifer what exactly is Beauxbatons like? Is Madame Maxine still teaching there?" Jennifer smiled. Hearing French again was like music to her ears, even if was just Bonjour. "Yes. I'm a Beauxbatons transfer. The first one ever, so Professor Snape so kindly advised me," she said. It was hard enough being a transfer, let alone being the only one of her kind. "There were a group of boys that ate like that once. They'll never do it again. They were kept in a room for two days. No one knows what went on or if they got any food etc. But, the rules are pretty strict!" she said. Compared to here, they seemed like laws. "Beauxbaton's is wonderful. The palace is immaculate and it's nice and cosy. I love it. I wish I didn't have to leave. I left a lot behind in France. But, my parents moved, so I had to as well. It's the way it goes. Madame Maxine is still the Headmistress, yes. Every year she says she'll retire, but she keeps coming back!" |

Bella laughed, the cure was starting to work and she reckoned by the time she got to Kildara's class she'd be able to pass for being 100% well. "No my dear Annie, I'm not a kill joy. I'm a prefect, there is a difference. Anyways, as a prefect, I can make sure none of you get caught coming in where as if I go out, there's no one to do that." Her patrols lasted until 12ish anyways and she didn't have to be in bed till 1 so she did have time to help people back in. Jennifer smiled. Oh and no sneaking out to go to Hogsmede, but no one ever gets caught. You should come," she said smiling at Jennifer. "Oh my gosh it's a palace?" she asked incredulously. "No one likes moving, but and please don't hate me for saying this, not all change is bad. If you want to speak to someone about change, you should speak to either Zach, Ceallach who's in Gryffindor, Megan in Hufflepuff or some of the Slytherin boys. They've all transferred this year." |

"kill joy... prefect same thing, big diff" she said with a shrug. She smiled brightly at the same time Bella spoke, "well we know I'll be sneaking out when you're on duty... wait... I guess I already do" she shrugged again and ate a piece of bacon slowly. She looked at the girl Bella was talking too, a french girl, "hey I'm Anastasia, call me Annie" she said with a friendly smile.

Bella laughed looking thoughtfully at Aidan. "Aidan what would you say if I asked Professor Snape to lock you and Sam up in a room for two days with no food?" she asked innocently. "There are some rules which are extremely strict, like keeping Order and Deatheater hatreds outside of school grounds and no boys in girls dorms and visa versa. Oh and no sneaking out to go to Hogsmede, but no one ever gets caught. You should come," she said smiling at Jennifer. Aidan shrugged and let out a giant belch. Zach promptly turned and smacked the back of his head. "Way to make a good impression," he said sarcastically, before finishing the rest of his coffee, and watched as Aidan began to construct another sandwich. Shaking his head, he got up. "I've got a free period now, so I'm going to check out the Quidditch pitch. You coming?" Aidan pulled out his timetable, and consulted it. "Nope. I have Arithmancy first thing. But I've got all afternoon free."Zach shook his head. "No good. I've got Potions all afternoon." He nodded to the other students. "Nice meeting you," he said to Jennifer, trying to make up for his twin's shortcomings, before he set off for the door.
Aidan grinned. "So what's the deal with Arithmancy? Why is everyone so gloomy about it?" he asked Bella. |

Aidan grinned. "So what's the deal with Arithmancy? Why is everyone so gloomy about it?" he asked Bella. "No one handed in their homework. And Dara's in a bad mood. A bad combination," Sam said, walking up to the table. He kissed Bella on the top of the head, before sitting beside her. "You look better this morning," he said quietly to her, before reaching for any food that was in his reach and shoving it into his mouth. |

"Head still hurts and I'm still considering missing Arithmancy, but I won't," she said quickly seeing the look he gave her. As he piled food into his mouth and Aidan did the same she scowled. "Right, Jenny I think that locking them in a room with no food will have to work, although could we make it a whole week? I don't think these two have any manners at all." She laughed and then realised she hadn't introduced Jenny and Sam. "Jenny this is Sam, Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain, Hogwart's Pretty Boy, and overall love of my life. Sam this is Jennifer King, she's just transferred from Beauxbatons."

She gave him a disgusted look as he too started shovelling food into his mouth. Did none of these Hogwarts boys have manners? Her head turned again, tearing her eyes from Sam's lack of manners as Bella spoke. She raised an eyebrow at being called 'Jenny' but let it lie. "Hello, Sam. Nice to meet you," she said, smiling politely. |
