The Ravenclaw Table is a long wooden table with wooden benches running the length of the table. The benches have blue cushions on them, one for each student. The gold cutlery and crockery are polished and clean. The middle of the table is heavily loaded with many plates of succulent food. Sit down and dig in!

Aidan strolled down the stairs towards the Great Hall. As he walked in, he broke into a cheerful whistle, making his way towards Zach, who was already there, halfway through his breakfast.
"Morning, bro," he said. He sat down on the bench, and glanced around. There were a lot of students who looked much the worse for wear, after the previous evening at the pub. He nodded at Bella, and surveyed the food.
"Looks good," he said, reaching for a piece of toast. He slathered it with butter, then took a big helping of bacon, and piled it on the toast. Next were a couple of fried eggs. With his fork, he broke them up, so that the yolks ran all over the bacon. Finally, he piled on some fried mushrooms, and topped the whole thing off with another slice of toast. He picked up the sandwich, took a huge bite, and remarked indistinctly around the mouthful,
"Breakfast of champions!"

Jennifer walked into the Great Hall for breakfast, not really looking forward to her first day at school away from everyone else. Stupid parents and their stupid jobs. She walked up to the table and sat across from two boys that looked like identical twins. She scrunched up her nose in elegant disgust as she watche done of them make a massive sandwich, then bite into it, then speak with his mouth full!! Jeez! This school was disgusting!

Bella groaned as she saw Aidan walk in. How in Merlin's name could he be so cheerful this morning? It felt like a ton of bricks had been placed on her shoulders and her head was home to a whole bunch of chatting chimps. It had taken her a whole extra 30 minutes this morning to get ready because she had to hide the bags under her eyes. Why did she have to have a lesson first? She rolled her eyes at Aidan's lack of manners, and delicately put a mouthful of egg into her mouth, knowing she had to eat.
Noticing a new girl at the table she smiled and after finishing her mouthful introduced herself. Headache or not she had to try and be nice. "Hi I'm Bella one of Ravenclaw's prefects. How were your holidays?"

Anastasia walked down to the great hall cheerfully, she was glad to be back, except for the fact there were classes already. She walked over to where Bella was sitting and shook her head, "someone looks hung over" she said in a sing song voice, sitting down next to her best friend, "how've you been hon?"

Zach rolled his eyes. Typical Aidan. He caught looks of disgust from Bella, and from a girl he didn't recognise. "Please excuse my brother," he said to the newcomer. "We usually feed him behind closed doors, but he seems to have escaped from his keeper this morning!" He extended his hand across the table. "I'm Zach Fischer. I'm the twin that inherited the table manners gene." He smiled, hoping she'd ignore the bad impression that Aidan was making.

Annie chuckled, "and yu told me off for getting drunk?" she said raising an eyebrow, "but at least Sam gave you the leature so I don't have too" she said smiling at her, wait if she got 2 leatures shouldn't Bella? right right Bella wasn't drinking alone. "27 shots? I believe you beat your record!"

On her way to the Gryffindor table Krysta walked close to the Ravenclaw side. She walked up to where the twins and Bella were sitting and tapped Bella on the shoulder.
"Hi honey." she whispered. "I thought you could do with this." she told her placing a small vial of liquid by Bella's plate. "Take it now before someone sees it." she instructed in a very low voice, looking up to make sure no teachers were nearby. She looked at Aidan.
"Well someone's cheerful this morning. You got egg on you robes babe." she winked at him and walked away to her own table.

Aidan glanced down at himself. She was right, there was a big streak of egg yolk on his robe. He pulled out his wand and pointed it at the stain. "Scourgify!" He admired the result, finished his sandwich, and poured himself a large cup of coffee.
Zach watched wryly. Aidan had always been a bit of a slob. Though not many people at Durmstrang would have cared about his table manners. "Too bad you can't get rid of the stain on your reputation so easily," he said with a grin. "About half the school saw you fail in a drinking contest with a group of girls!"
Aidan shrugged. "I'll survive," he replied, grinning insufferably.

Anastasia looked over at the boys, well twins it seemed and shook her head, "please tell me Bella beat him" she said holding back a laugh, he seemed like a guy that could hold his alcohol easily, guess she was wrong.

Jennifer listened to their conversation in awe. Drinking competitions? They'd done some pretty stupid stuff at Beauxbatons, but now she heard what people got up to here, they had been rather tame. It made her feel naiive and childish. Her thoughts drifted back to Gabriel. They'd told each other they were breaking up, for good, so they wouldn't have to miss each other. Breaking up and stopping thinking about him was proving harder and harder. She needed a guy to take her mind off him. She reached over and took some toast, egg and bacon, putting it on her plate and sighing looking down at it. She shrugged and put the bacon on the toast, then the egg on top. She was torn between eating it with her knife and fork and picking it up. In the end, she decided to me remotely demure, and use cutlery.

"Trust me, it is normally punishable here as well. Just some people don't know their manners." She wasn't just talking about Aidan, but Sam as well, though he has gotten better.
