"Oh yes, that is my symbol of rebellion against my parents, I got this tattoo on my 16th birthday" She said, lifting her top a bit more to show the rest of the tattoo. "My parents were Slytherins unfortunately and I got this tattoo to show them which house truly is the best" She said with a smirk.

Nathalie grinned. "That's really cool. Mine were Slytherins too. I thought they'd die of shame when I got sorted into Ravenclaw! I wonder if I could get one of a bird attacking a snake..." She giggled. "I think they'd disown me! I'm not sure if I'm brave enough..." She was silent for a moment, thinking that she really wasn't a rebel - she felt rebellious often enough... but when it came to doing something about it... well, maybe she was a bit of a coward. She sighed. "I don't supposed I'd have the nerve, if it came right down to it."

"You wouldn't have to get a bird attacking a snake, you could get anything, it doesn't matter what it is, its still a symbol of rebellion against your parents!" She exclaimed, pulling her top back down to cover her tattoo. "If you want to be friends with me, I can help you be more rebellious, and turn you into a little Ravenclaw troublemaker" Amanda said with a smirk.

Nathalie chewed on her lip for a minute. Then she said, "Well, if I don't have my fun now, I never will. Teenagers are supposed to be rebellious, right?" She grinned. "So what kind of trouble did you have in mind? Pretty much any sort would be new to me," she admitted. She'd been a total bookworm up till now.

"I've got one thing that's perfect for someone like you who's never gotten into trouble before, its more of a prank than it is getting yourself into trouble. But, you'll still get a good laugh out of it." She smirked, rustling through her bag and pulling out a blueprint and unrolling it. "Now, this is an old prank, passed down through generations of my family. You take a thing of Honeydukes chocolate and take the chocolate out, fill it with howlers and rewrap it so it looks like its never been open, then you can attach it to your owl, and send it to whoever you want" She said, with a laugh.

Nathalie grinned. "What if I put the box on the staff table before dinner one night? That way the whole school would see the fun! If I use my owl, won't it look strange? I mean, owling someone when we're both at school?" She laughed, imagining the reaction of the professors to a sudden swarm of howlers.

"Oh you're naturally a troublemaker, thinking that big this early!" She exclaimed, with a smile. "Hmm, well, traditionally, its done with an owl, but you could secretly drop the thing off on the staff table and just sit and wait" She said with a smirk, "I was already planning on getting a few of the Slytherins with this prank" She added.

Nathalie was pleased Amanda seemed to like her suggestion. "Well - how about combining the two - instead of the staff table, leave the box on the Slytherin table. I mean, they're bound to open it, you know how greedy some of them are! The teachers might decide to take it to the staffroom, and then we'd miss seeing them open it. Do you have any Honeydukes boxes?"

"I happen to have 5 boxes" She said, taking them out of her bag and smirking. "I can see we are going to be great friends Nat" She said with a smile. This plan was going to be awesome, combining both ideas into one awesome prank.

Nathalie laughed. "This is going to be fun. When are we going to do it? I think I can do the spell to make howlers." She had a lot of fun to pack into the next few years, and she didn't want to waste any time.

"I have the spell written down on the blueprint, I know it non-verbally, but all you do is move your wand like this" She said, taking out her wand and waving it up, down and diagonally. "Then you have to say this clearly, or it will not be a howler" She cleared her throat. "Howlis creatous" She said, waving her wand in the proper way and a howler appeared. "Now, you try" She said, she had to make sure that Natalie could do the spell properly before they started. "Well, we could do that tonight, as long as there isn't any Slytherins at the table, course I do have an invisiblity cloak in my trunk we could use" She said and smirked.

Nathalie took out her wand, and practices the wand movement a few times, then said, "Howlis Creatous" over a sheet of paper. She watched anxiously to see if it worked. Her eyes widened as Amanda mentioned her cloak. "You have an invisibility cloak? I've heard about them, but I've never actually seen one. Where did you get it?"

"I got it from my uncle, he used it to sneak around Hogwarts at night and cause trouble in the school" She said and smirked. "I'll get it later, and we can use it to pull off this prank once everyone's asleep, course we still have to be careful of the prefects that are patrolling the corridors" She said, biting her lip. She had heard of a map that showed where everyone was at the same time, she remembered getting this folded up piece of parchment from her uncle as well and he said to point your wand at it say I solemly swear I am up to no good. She took it out of her bag and pointed her wand at it. "I solemly swear I am up to no good" She said and it opened up, showing people's footsteps as to where they were.

Nathalie nodded. "I should be able to get past the Ravenclaw prefects." She watched as Amanda pulled out a folded parchment, and her eyes widened as she saw the map of the school, and the little footsteps hurrying around. "Is that... that's where everyone is. Look," she pointed to two sets of footprints beside the lake. "That's us!" She looked up at Amanda, slightly awed. "Did your uncle give you that, too? What was his name, he sounds like he must have been a lot of fun at school."

"His name was Reglus Padfoot, he was a real troublemaker like me, that's why he gave me his invisiblity cloak and this map, which is called the Maruader's Map." She said with a smile. "This map is a very valuable tool to the both of us, it shows us where everyone is at all times, which is good to know for pulling off pranks" She said with a smirk.
