Kildara sat at her dressing table, partially dressed. She had all her undergarments on. Her hair wasn't done, and all she'd applied to her face was foundation. She really couldn't be bothered. The promise of sneaking out with Caeleb was the only important thing making her go. Why she'd decided on this, when she knew she couldn't go with the person she really wanted to, she didn't know! She sghed, sitting back in her chair, looking at herself in the mirror. She had to admit, the white corset she was wearing was actually rather fetching!

Charli had been escorted up to Kildara's office, and inside, and up to the door of Dara's quarters, then left there. She sighed, knocking on the door, pushing it open. "Knock, knock," she said, smiling as she spotted Kildara. "Oh la la!" she exclaimed, seeing her friend. "You don't need a dress!" she chuckled. Kildara looked stunning already. She walked up to her friend, who was slowly standing up. "Finding it a little hard to breathe are we?!" she laughed, giving Dara a hug. "Okay, let's get this show on the road!" she exclaimed, sitting Dara back down again, and starting to work out ways to do her hair. "Any ideas?"

Kildara looked up as she heard Charli's voice. She smiled, watching her friend look her over. "I don't think this is particularly appropriate for a school ball!" she chuckled, looking down at herself, lounged on the chair. Wearing a white corset, black underwear, black and white thigh high stockings, and white pumps. "I feel more burlesque - than masquerade!" she laughed. She slowly stood up, realising that bloody house elf had done her corset up a little tight. She'd get used to it! She giggled a bit when Charli sat her back down and started playing with her hair. "Umm. I was thinking of just letting the curls down, to be honest. , cover my shoulders. What do you think?" she asked, shrugging her shoulders.
"Hmm. Could work," Charli nodded. "Where's your mask?" Kildara pointed to the simple white mask sitting beside the extravagance of a dress, which was hanging up. "Hmm. Yeah, down will definately be better. If it was a big mask, up would be better. But your curls will frame your face, making the mask prominent."
Kildara laughed. "Well, aren't you just the hair guru now," she chuckled. Charli was always the one to go to if you had an image problem. She'd fix you straight away. Kildara never needed that. Everything just seemed to fall into place for her perfectly. Each curl positioned itself straight on her head, her eyelashes never clumped or bent. Her skin was always clear. She'd never had a pimple in her life. "Okay, now makeup," she said, pointing her finger at her face, and pale, neutral colouring appeared over her eyes and cheeks, a soft red on her lips. "Hmm?"
"Why do you even need me here?" Charli laughed. "You're perfect, as always." She laughed, then looked over to the dress. "Ah, ok. That's why you need me!" Walking over to it, she ran her hand over the satiny material, savouring the way it felt under her fingers. Kildara could always afford the best! "Okay, are we ready for this one?" she asked, turning back to see Kildara standing up.
"Yeah, I suppose so," Kildara answered. She loved the dress so much, but she was a bit apprehensive about actually wearing it. It was heavy. And it was huge! She sighed and walked over to Charli, who was holding the dress open for her, and she stepped into it. Standing front of the mirror, she sighed and gasped as Charli pulled on the dress, trying to get it to do up.
Charli was tugging on the dress, trying to get the last bit laced up properly. "Dara. Hun. You're boobs are too big!" she observed. That was the only bit that wouldn't do up. The bit that went around her chest.
"s**t! You serious! Alter it or something. Or don't lace it up as tight," Kildara suggested in a panic. The dress had fitted her perfectly when she'd had it made. That meant her boobs had grown. Bugger! She didn't need them any bigger!
"Okay," Charli replied, tugging as hard as she could on the laces, then tieing them properly. She breathed a sigh of relie, hoping Kildara would be able to do the same. "Okay. Can you breathe? Can you sit down? Can you walk?" she asked, fluttering around, concerned.
Kildara sighed. Then laughed. She could breathe! "Yeah. I'm good," she said, as Charli asked if she could breathe. She walked to her seat. "I can walk." And sat down ... without breaking any seams, and with the ability to breathe! "And I can sit! Charli, you're an angel!" she laughed. "Now I'm good." She stood back up again, giving Charli a hug. "Thanks babe."
Charli smiled. "Anything to help you look even better than normal!" she laughed. Not that Dara ever needed help with that.

Michael walked up to the door to Dara's quarters and knocked, the door pushing open. "Knock! Can I come in?" he asked. He didn't want to encroach if Dara wasn't dressed yet.
Kildara looked over to the door, rushing over to it, her dress rustling as she moved. Pulling the door open further, she smiled. "Michael!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around her other friend's neck.
Michael's face lit up as he saw the baby of his friends all dressed up. "Wow, Dara. You - You're stunning!" he commented, momentarily awestruck. He looked over to Charli. "Look at this Char. Our baby's all grown up!"
"Hey Michael," Charli smiled as the older man walked into the room. She chuckled and nodded. "I know. And she was, without a doubt, the easiest to make look like that! We did nothing!"
Michael laughed. "Doesn't surprise me. You looked stunning in Azkaban. How you managed that, I don't know," he chuckled, giving Dara a kiss on the forehead. "Okay, we ready?" he asked. "Mask?" he enquired.
Kildara smiled. She had never really thought of herself as the baby. Sure, she was the youngest, but she'd always been the highest ranked. She smiled up at Michael, and nodded. "We're good," she exclaimed. "Oh mask! Thanks," she said as charli passed it to her. She gigled a little, and put it on, turning to Michael. "What do you think?"
Michael gave her an appreciative once over. "Mhm. You are absolutely fantastically beautiful. As always." He put his own mask on, and offered her his arm. "Shall we?"
Kildara smiled. She had to admit, he looked good. Not as good as she was sure Caeleb was going to look, but good in his own way. "We shall," she said, taking his arm. "Thanks again Charli," she said, blowing her friend a kiss, before being dragged from the room by Michael.
Charli watched them going. Dara really looked wonderful. She looked like a storybook princess. She sighed adn walked out of the room, looking around for the house elf that escort her back to Hogsmeade.
