[Danika Peverell]

Danika was touched by Krysta's words. "Thanks, Krys," she said softly. She closed her eyes as Krysta kissed her forehead, feeling more warmth spread through her body, melting the last of the ice around her shattered heart. She sighed, resting her head against Krysta again.
"I just need to think about it all. Maybe it's a good thing it's the holidays soon. I don't have to see her everyday. And I'll be with Kildara, mind you, might not be as exciting as it was going to be. Maybe I'll go and stay with Ceallach for a bit of it." She shrugged her shoulders. She was feeling better now. Not healed, definately not healed, but better. Krysta knew how to make her feel good.

Krys nodded,
"Yes, that's a good idea. Well I'm afraid you'll have to bump into me, coz me and Ceallach have agreed to meet up for drinks over the holiday." she joked, chuckling slightly.
"I like Ceallach. Last time I saw her she was getting to know Caeleb. Think thse two will give each other a run or their money." she chuckled again. "Maybe she'll keep him out of trouble for a bit." she added thoughtfully.
"Listen if you ever need some company, you're welcome at my place. Profesor Walker lives there too, though, so be warned." she said. She sighed. Life was so complicated these days. It used to be simple. You were either a Voldemort sympathiser or an Order sympathiser. These days the lines were blurred.

Danika laughed. "Eh. Bumping into you won't be too bad I suppose!" she said, smiling. She felt heaps better now.
"Ceallach was doing what," she said, releasing herself from Krysta and looking at her. "Oh dear. That girl is a worry. She's a legend back home. I was sort of hoping Hendrik would go off and marry her, but no. Not that Ceallach would ever agree to that. Neither would her parents. The o Raghallaigh's are practically royalty. Got enough money to be. If not more. Oh well. Might be good for both of them to meet their match," she said, shrugging her shoulders. She was the Queen of Seduction at the school. But with Ceallach here, she was guaranteed to lose her title rather quickly.
"Thanks. I don't think Professor Walker would appreciate me there, though," she said truthfully. "Thank you for offering though."

Krysta laughed.
"Oh yeah she told me about Hendrik." she said, still chuckling. She coudn't help it. The idea of Danika being betrothed to this guy was hilarious. She manged to subdue her laugter and nodded when Dani mentioned Kit.
"Yeah, maybe it would complicate things. I'll see you in The Leaky Cauldron then." she agreed, thinking neutral ground was probably their best bet.
"It's probably better if Kildara doesn't know we're spending time together either." she added varefully. She knew Dani was loyal to her.
"For one she'd probably tell you stay away from me and for the other I want to stay off her radar if that's ok." she said sheepishly hoping Danika would understand. She didn't want Order and Death Eater business to come between them.

Danika sighed, shaking her head. "She told you about Hendrik! Oh dear. That kid can't keep her mouth closed. Yeah, she had a message for me," she said. Then dropping her voice into a squeaky male Irish voice, she said. "Please remind my dearest Danika that we are still to be married this summer and I look forward to seeing her soon enough. Love Hendrik kiss kiss kiss." She pulled a face of disgust and laughed. "He disgusts me."

"Leaky Cauldron it is then! I think Ceallach has already softened up the new barkeep, so drinks shouldn't be a problem." she laughed, shaking her head again. She shrugged her shoulders when Krys mentioned Kildara.
"Yeah, that's ok. She'd probably go off at me," she admitted. "And staying off her radar is probably a great idea." She liked Krysta. She would hate for all this stuff to stop them being friends. It was all stupid anyways. The way it splits people up.

She nodded again.
"Thanks" she replied. The last thing she needed was Kildara poking too closely into Krysta's heritage.
She laughed at Danika's impression of Hendrik's letter. Oh my god he sounds insufferable. Even I would lose my patience and I have the patience of a Saint...or so I've been told." she added with a chuckle.
"And..." she began dramatically. "You have nothing to fear about drinks my dear, because in precisely five days time I come of age and I can buy all the drink I want, so hah!" she said with a huge grin.
"I can't wait!" she suddenly shouted to the afternoon sky and then laughed loudly. She just coudn't contain her excitement.

"He annoys everyone. Except his parent, who think he's the best thing since sliced bread." When Krysta got all excited about her birthday, she laughed.
"Well, I was more thinking about Ceallach, who wouldn't be of age. I'm fine. By birthday is Halloween. I've been 17 for months. But they don't usually like us buying drinks for minors," she chuckled.
"Well. Happy Birthday for five days time," she said, smiling happily.
"You'll be able to do everything then! Going for your Apparation License?" she asked.

Kys nodded with a grin.
"You bet! 6am on the morning of my birthday, Kit is going to be woken up with a bucket of cold water." she laughed cheekily. "It's handy living with the Apparation teacher." she added with a grin.
"I don't think we need to worry about Ceallach. Like you said she's got poor Chris eating out of her hand." she said shaking her head with a bemused smile. "Honestly, I thought things were bad enough with you around. I dread to think what it's going to be like with her around too." she said teasingly, digging Danika lightly in the ribs.

Danika laughed. "Fair enough. Sounds like fun! All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not Professor Walker. I wouldn't fancy being woken up so early, and so cruelly," she said, imagining being woken up like that. She shivered at the thought.
Danika nodded. "Poor Chris. No one knows what they get themselves into with Ceallach." She remebered all those poor barkeeps in Ireland. They had no idea what hit them.
She squirmed away from Krysta as she dug into her ribs. "Ceallach is worse than me! Seduction and Manipulation Extrodinaire. If there was a course in it, she'd get straight A's. Maybe even teach the teacher a thing or too. No one's safe from that kid."

Kysta laughed again.
"Well she obviously wasn't interested in me, because I resisited her quite easily. I think she's great but I don't like her that way. I don't think she's my type." she said thoughtfully. "As a mate I think she's brilliant, though." she added with a grin.
She sighed.
"I'm thirsty and hungry. Fancy raiding the kitchens before they close?" she asked.

Danika shrugged. "Eh. You interest her though. I can tell you that much. You were able to resist her, because you met her before she turned on the charm. She needs friends here before she goes around making enemies. You're the lucky one I suppose. But hey, she's great. And she's like my sister. I love her to pieces," she said, smiling softly. She was actually glad Ceallach hadn't sunk her ridiculously painted talons into Krysta. Krys deserved more than Ceallach's games.
"Sounds like a plan,"s he said, before standing up and holding a hand out to Krysta.

Krys cheered and took Dani's hand, pulling herself to her feet.
"We need comfort food." she announced in a serious tone, taking a step towards the door and pulling Dani with her. She wrapped an arm around Dani's and began the descent down the tower stairs, hoping the Houselves had choclate cake.
