[Krysta Hedwig]

Krysta looked at Kelly and her heart broke for her.
"Oh Kelly, I'm so sorry." she knew what it felt like to lose family at the hands of Death Eaters, but to lose them so young; to know that your llife had only been spared by...her uncle? Black? Her Uncle was a Death Eater.
Krys slowly got up from the bed and moved away from Kelly, but never took her eyes off her. She noticed for the first time her eyes. The same as her Fathers. Everything fell into place and clicked in her mind and she realised who Kelly was.
"You're Sirius Black's daughter." she said calmly, in a low tone. "Your Uncle was Peter Pettigrew." she added, a slight edge of disgust in her voice. She looked at Kelly and felt her anger. Voldemort had destroyed her family too.

She began pacing up and down infront of Kelly's bed, glancing at her occasionally as she spoke.
"Ok. You, Kelly Black are going to get to know Caeleb, no matter how much it disgusts you. He has to trust you." she said, her voice full of authority as she took on a "no nonesnse" stance. Still she paced back and forth, tapping her fingers against her other hand.
"And us...Kelly you have to hate me." she ordered. "If Caeleb thinks you're my friend, he'll never trust you and he won't let his guard down. As for Kildara..." She trailed off. "...we need someone who can be around her without drawing suspicion. Maybe...a teacher." she stopped pacing and thought hard. A smile crept across her face as the perfect person popped into her head. "Leave that to me." she winked and returned to pacing up and down.

"I need to start teaching you about him. Somewhere quiet where no one can walk in. You're in the Order yes?" she asked, not waiting for a response. She was talking nineteen to the dozen now. "We can use headquarters." she concluded.

She stopped dead as something horrible occured to her and she dropped to her knees in front of Kelly.
"Who else knows about Dara's baby?"

Kelly looked at Krysta, as she put the pieces together "Yes, you're right. Actually he was my step-uncle or something like that. And potions teacher Emilia is my step-aunt" she felt digusted saying that. As Krys talked about Caeleb and her plans, she just listened. "Okay, I'll do anything you want, but who's that teacher you have in mind?" she was curious. She liked the idea of using the headquarters "yes, the Order would be perfect." I don't know who know. I only know the people, who know that I did something to that baby. Me, Dara, Dani, professor Pettigrew, you, Sam and probably Caeleb too. What is it then? You seem worried. Tell me !"

Krysta drew the triple-core out of her pocket and tapped it thoughtfully against her palm. She stood up againa nd walked in a small circle around the dorm.
"Kildara knows it was you? And you're still alive? Why? Why hasn't she killed you?" she asked, her tone extremely serious.

"Yes, Kildara knows. I was supposed to save the baby. Emilia forced me, but I didn't. I just made it die quicker. I don't know why she hasn't killed me. Maybe she's afraid. I don't know!" Kelly felt her emotions clashing above her head. She grabbed Krysta's shoulders "Tell me, what you're thinking!" she looked her deep in the eyes. She was so close to her, she could smell her skin.

Krysta's lips pursed into a slight scowl but her eyes betrayed her concern. Finally she closed her eyes and let her stiff stance sag. Her shoulders drooped under Kelly's grasp and she sank back down onto the bed. She pulled Kelly's hand to make her sit beside her.
"Kelly...anyone and I mean anyone who knows that you were responsible for that child's death is danger." she told her calmly but seriously. She shook her head slightly. "I don't know Kildara well enough to predict her response. It could be she's just biding her time. But Caeleb...he's a being of passion. I'm not sure even Dara will be able to stop him this time. I felt his fury earlier, Kelly. I'm an empath." she explained. She looked at the floor.

"I've never told anyone at Hogwarts that before." she said with a slight smile. She looked up at Kelly. "But under the cirsumstances I think you should know. That's how I knew you were watching me in Aura prep the other say, it's how I can read auras and it's how come I can send and receive mind-melds...like you can." she explained, smiling guiltily. She had so many secrets all of a sudden. It felt good to get one of them out.

"The thing is...I have never felt him so angry." she said shaking her head and becoming serious again. "Kelly, he is out for blood. He's looking for you. And I know you think you can handle him and I know you feel confident enough to take him on, but Kelly..." she trailed off. How did she put this? She liked Kelly, she really did. But she had other reasons for keeping her safe besides her own affection towards the girl.
"I just think we need to be careful. When we take this fight to Caeleb it's going to be on our terms; when we are ready. And not before."
She put an arm around kelly's shoulder and rubbed her back reassuringly.
"I don't want anything to happen to you." she said softly.
" But as for the others: Dani, Sam and Emilia...we have to keep a very close eye on them. I dont mean spy. But Caeleb is going to be trying to find out who did this and he won't mind who he hurts in the process. Right now he has no clue it's you. But all it takes is one lazy comment from someone and he could be on your trail. Do you understand?"

Kelly sat next to Krysta on the bed. She listened to her silently. As she told her everyone are in danger she sighed. She only cared about Dani and Sam, everyone else were of no importance. "I'll take him on, when he comes. I won't run. I have just as much anger inside me as he does. Maybe even more" she sent Krysta a picture of her mum, lying on the ground, herself crying and her pathetic uncle kneeling before her, looking up to Kildara who was smirking."No, Kildara, don't do it. She means the world for me. I promised her dad, I'd protect her. Just tell the Dark Lord she's dead. She's no threat to anyone. I'll hide her, i promise" and Kildara's voice echoed "I'll do it, just because we're on the same side. She'll be killed soon anyway and so will her father. As soon as his father's dead, I'll come after her!". The picture faded and Kelly looked Krysta in the eyes. "I only care about Dani, Sam and you at this matter. Emilia is no one to me!" She felt Krysta's hand on her back. The warm feeling cam over her again. "I think Dara will tell him it was me. I can feel her. A part of her is inside me, since the time I used the cruciatus curse on her. I think she wants Caeleb to kill me. Just so she wouldn't be responsibe for it. But it won't happen." she leaned closer to Krysta, their cheeks touching and whispered "I'll get them both. Trust me, I will!" she pulled herself away, planted a brief and soft kiss on Krysta's lips and walked back the window. She consentrated on Caeleb and sent him a thought "I want you!" hoping he'd get it, whereever he was.

Tears poured down Krysta's face as she watched Kildara agree to spare Kelly's life and she felt Kelly's hate and pain.
She listened to her words and they left her cold. Emilia it was true, meant little to Krysta either. She didn't like the woman at all. And Sam was an innocent in all this.
Dara was another kettle of fish. Even back when Krysta and Caeleb had dated Dara had had an odd relationship with Caeleb. But would she tell Caeleb who had been rsponsible for her baby's death? She had no answer. It depended on how much she wanted to keep Caeleb around. If Dara had grown attached to Caeleb she wouldnt have him kill Kelly, it was too risky.

She was about to voice this opinion when Kelly kissed her. She froze. The kiss was over almost before she realised what was happening and Kelly had walked away to the window. Krysta's eyes nearly popped out of her head in astonishment. She hadn't seen that coming at all. She touched her lips where she could still feel Kelly's and and stared into space in bewilderment, one major thought running through her head:

Seriously! Could this get any more complicated?!

Kelly looked outside, hoping that Caeleb had received her thought. She then turned back to see Krysta looking in front of her, her eyes reflecting bewilderment. She walked to her "What's wrong? You look, as if you'd seen a choust." she smiled at her. She felt just like Dani. Now she knew, why she enjoyed it so much. All that adrenalin had gotten her turned on. Though she really wanted to hurt someone right now, she felt like wanting Krysta. "It's all Sam's fault." she thought a little bit too loud. "Sorry, he just keeps popping up in my head" he apologized to Krysta. "God, I'm so obvious!" She thought about something fast to make Krysta forget about what she said. She kissed her again, longer and more passionately.

Krys's cry of surprise was muffled by Kelly's mouth, lips and tongue. She froze again, not knowing what to do, a thousand thoughts running through her head:

What about Dani?
Dani isn't your girlfriend you know, you're a free agent.
Yeah, but Kelly is Dani's girlfriend!
Kelly knows what she's doing.
Exactly! This is wrong, I don't want her to cheat on Dani.
Dani cheats on her!
I don't even know if I like Kelly that way!
So?
So? I can't tell her to stop, she may be offended and I don't want to upset her, especially not now.
So stop fretting and kiss her back
But Dani...
Kiss her!

Her darker side won through. She wrapped both arms around Kelly and returned the kiss, sliding her tongue smoothly into her mouth.

Oh I'm going to rot in hell for this...
......and you don't care.

Kelly felt Krysta's tongue sliding into her mouth, she greeted it with joy. Her hands brushed down to Krysta's waist and then up again to her neck. She felt soft and tender, but nothing like Dani and definetely nothing like Sam. It confused her. Did she really want this or was she doing it for some other reason? She slid her hands under Krysta's top, but removed them straight away, breaking the kiss. "No, I can't. I want you, but all I can think about right now are Caeleb and Dara. I don't want it to be like that. Some other time or even better like never. If he found out, he'd have so much to use against me. Sorry, Krys, but I know you understand." She just stood there, looking ar Krysta, waiting for her response.

Krys stared at her again gobsmacked. Even she didn't know what her response was. After everything, after the internal battle she had just gone through and the drama of absolutely everything...there was really only one way she could respond:

she laughed.

A huge grin spread across her face and she rolled back on he bed laughing her head off. She quickly sat back up again snd hugged Kelly, still laughing. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, she was so hysterical.
"Oh Kelly." she gasped, trying to catch her breath. "We are a real pair of idiots, we really are. You have no idea how much." she said, shaking her head in amusement. She stroked Kelly's cheek with the back of her hand and grinned.
"It's fine. Really. To be honest, I wasn't completely sure about it either. I just think we're both very emotional and needed some affection." She paused and made a decison inside. She smiled, trying to hide her own sadness.
"You should go and find Dani. She's the one who should be kissing you."

Kelly never expected Krysta would laugh. It hit her like a shock. She got over it though as she stroked her cheek. Her words hit her like another wave. She tried to force on a smile, but couldn't "I love Dani, but she's not the one, I'd like to share my affection with." She knew it sounded wierd and that Krys would probably ask what she meant, but she didn't care. She was so very confused and if Caeleb would have come and attacked her now, it would have been a great way to forget everything. Though when she looked at Krysta, she felt a strong pull towards her.

Krysta saw the look on Kellys face and realised how insensitive she'd been.
"Kelly, I'm sorry. I wasn't laughing at you. I was laughing at the situation. I use laughter as a defense mechanism sometimes. I'm really sorry."
He said, placing a hand on Kelly's shoulder. She looked so downhearted and confused. She wished she could do something to cheer her up.
"You know you can tak to me about anything. One thing I'm really good at is keeping secrets. Anything you said to me would go no further, even if the ghost of Lord Voldemort himself was toturing me." she said with a faint smile. "I know I can go on a bit, but I'm a good listener too. And I give good hugs." she added with a grin.

Kelly listened to Krysta. She had done that a lot today. She looked at her with a tear in her eye. "I slept with Sam." was all she told her. She didn't know how Krysta will react. She was acting just like Dani. She turned her eyes away from Krys, looking outside the window.

Krysta watched the tears roll down Kelly's cheeks. There were so many ways she could have reacted: shocked, angered, disappointed...but in all honesty, the only thing she felt right now was pity. She crawled across the bed and gently pulled Kelly into her arms. She sat back against the headboard and pulled Kelly with her so she could lie against her. She cradled the weeping girl into her arms and began stroking her head, resting her cheek on her forehead.
"Oh Kelly. I thought it was something like that. You go ahead and cry all you want. And when you feel ready to talk, I shall do nothing but hold you and listen." she said softly, magicking a handkerchief from thin-air with her bare hand. She didn't care if Kelly saw her do it. She'd tell her truth if she had to. Right now all that mattered was the girl in her arms.
