Defence Against the Dark Arts Lesson #1

Serena walked in to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom and sat down at the desk. The closet next to her was shaking and jumping, "silencio" she pointed her hand at the closet and smiled as the noise stopped.

Kelly watched curiously at professor Black's doing. She guessed it was a boggart or something. She sat in the very front and said "Good morning, professor. How are you?"

Isabella walked into the classroom just as the Professor stopped the desk from making a noise. 'Boggarts' she thought to herself. "Good morning Professor," she said as she took her own seat next to the Gryffindor girl.

Kelly watched as a girl sat down next to her. "Hi, I'm Kelly, 7th year Gryffindor. You?" she smiled.

"I'm Isabella Peters, 6th year Ravenclaw," Isabella said smiling at Kelly. "If you don't want to call me Isabella, you can call me Bella. Either one as long as it's not Issy."

Danika ambled into the classroom and took a seat away from Kelly and Bella. Why was she always here before Caitlin? She smiled at Black and said, "Good morning Professor," before sitting down and taking out her wand and placing it on her desk.

Sam walked casually into the class and sat beside Bella, after giving Danika a slight look of longing.
"Morning Professor," he said smoothly, smiling at Professor Black. He smiled at Bella and Kelly.
"Hey Bella," he said, looking past the girls at Danika again.

Danika looked over as Sam sat down with Bella and Kelly. She scowled as he looked over to her. She could see the longing in his eyes and she shook her head. She was happy with Max and her friendship with Caitlin was good. Just because he couldn't buck up the courage to talk to Caitlin. She wasn't going through this again.

"Hey Sam," Bella said smiling at him. She smiled at Danika as well even though she hadn't been acknowledged.

Estelle walked in to class and smiled at Professor Black, "good morning professor Black" she walked over to Bella and Kelly and sat next to Kelly, "hey guys" she smiled and looked at the shaking closet.

"Good morning class" she smiled at them, "good going on becoming head girl" she smiled at Estelle and stood up in front of her desk, "today we'll be studying Boggarts." she looked at the closet, "who can tell me what a boggarts true form is?"

Estelle raised her hand and began, "no one knows a boggarts true form because it transforms in to a persons worst fear."

[Kelly Black]

Kelly smiled at Sam, though she didn't know him and at Estelle "Can't wait for the lesson to start, can you?" she asked her and couldn't help laughing a little and then glanced back at the closet.

Alex was sitting next to Danika when Black asked a question about boggarts, "no one knows its true form" he sighed and looked at the closet again.

"No one knows it's true form because as soon as a person sees it, the boggart turns into the thing the person fears the most," Isabella said to the Professor.

Danika smiled at Bella. She had nothing against her, just the company she kept. "Sorry" she mouthed, shrugging her shoulders. She'd explain afterwards.
She scowled at Smith as she walked in. Stupid girl prancing around with Danika's badge on her robes.

Sam smiled at Bella and then looked up as Estelle sat down. "Hey Estelle," he said back, still looking past everyone to where Danika was seated by herself. But if he went to sit with her, that would be the time Randolf walked in and then he'd break his nose again.

"Don't worry," Isabella mouthed back. She knew she'd find out later from Danika what was wrong. "hey Estelle," she said giving out another smile.
