Bella saw a smile spread across Sam's face and laughed, "Well maybe if you're lucky one day the images may come true." She looked over at the Slytherin table to see if Max was there and then said, "Annie's after Max, especially since Dani's broken up with him. She's also after my brother, but he's not easily gettable at the moment."

"Don't tease me babe. It's not nice," he said, patting her on the thigh. "Annie's after Max? I thought she liked Alex? Or Andrew?" he felt so stupid that he hadn't picked that one up.

"Who said anything about teasing?" she asked innocently. "Yeah she came back and saw Max had gotten cuter in looks and stuff so she's trying to get him. I think she may see Alex as just a brother but I'm not sure, and Andrew well I think a lot of girls like him," she said eventually.

Sam shrugged. "Oh well. Max is lucky," he said softly. He didn't really think Max deserved her, but hey, it wasn't up to him. He turned back to his food, slowly putting small fork fulls into his mouth.

Anastasia walked in to the great hall and over to the ravenclaw table. She was about to sit down when she saw Bella and Sam sitting and talking. She hadn't seen Sam for ages. "Sammy!" She ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him smiling. "I haven't seen you in ages"

Anastasia dropped down on the seat next to Sam and smiled at Bella, "I'm fine, a little hyper but fine" she winked at her and turned back to Sam, "I'll try not to stay away that look again" she giggled and picked up a piece of bread, taking a bite she smiled and nodded, "I'm guess Bella told you" she knew Bella wouldn't tell him the getting drunk part but the other bits she probably did.

Bella laughed, "well hyper is good, as long as you don't go too hyper." She bit her bottom lip as Annie asked if she'd told Sam and nodded slowly. She hoped Annie knew that she wouldn't mention the alcohol, that was up to her to tell if she wanted to. "Sorry hun, but he did ask why you had been gone for so long."

Sam looked from one girl to the other as they talked. "Yeah, Bella told me. I'm so sorry," he said softly, putting an arm around her shoulders and pulling her into a hug. "Is there something your not telling me though?" he asked in a big-brotherly sort of way.

Annie smiled and nodded at Bella "Don't worry about it Bella" she smiled and hugged Sam back, "It's ok, just glad I'm going to Bells in the holidays." her smiled quickly faded and she pulled away from Sam "so what if I'm not telling you something" she sighed, "there are somethings you don't need to know" she knew better than that, Sam probably wasn't going to give up

Sam smiled. "Yeah, I might come visit you two. Keep an eye on you," he laughed. He listened to her basically bite his head off and shook his head. Sam sighed heavily. "You know better than to blow me off like that, love. Not a good thing to do. How can I help if I don't know the problem?" he groaned.

Bella laughed, "No he's going to be keeping an eye on me while you keep an eye on my brother and his girlfriend," she said to Annie. Then she frowned, why did she have to be the one to tell him. The harshness of Sam's voice got to her though, "Okay I'll tell you. Just don't get mad, Annie's already heard it from me and I'm guessing from Danika as well at least." She took a deep breathe then said, "Annie's cousin came over to see if she was alright and left some alcohol with her. She was getting through around a bottle a day because no one came to see if she was alright and her grandparents wouldn't check on her either. The reason why she didn't come in was because she was too drunk, drowning her sorrows and mourning." She looked at him carefully watching his reactions.
