Sam laughed and kissed her back. "Babe, you'll never be done. But, I'm done with my food. How about a walk around the Lake?" he said, pushing his half-eaten plate away from him.

"Good point," Bella said nodding. "You're done with your food?" she asked noting that the food was only half finished. "A walk sounds great, as long as you're sure your done. I'd rather not have you start biting my arm because you're still hungry." She smiled and stood up.

Sam frowned at her slightly. "Even if I was hungry, I wouldn't bite your arm. That would put you out of action for a while," he sighed. When she took his arm he smiled. "Let's go then," he said, walking to the door.

Isabella ran to the Great Hall and then slowed down as she entered and walked to the Ravenclaw table, pulling Mel behind her. "And now all we have to do is wait for Sam to come to dinner and then ask him if he missed me today," she said sitting down at her usual spot. "And I do promise not to ask Alex anything. Though if he asks me about you what do I say?" she asked.

Sam walked down to the Great Hall, almost running. He was so hungry. He felt like he hadn't eaten for days, although it had only been a few hours ago! He raced down to the table, sat next to Bella, gave her a quick kiss on the cheek then started piling food on his plate.

"Hey hun," she said as she got a kiss on the cheek. She smirked at Mel and raised an eyebrow. "You haven't missed me today have you?" she asked, sounding indifferent. She really wanted to win this bet, but part of her had a feeling Mel might win it.

Sam looked up at her, confused. "Missed you? Why did you go somewhere? I've been on the Pitch all afternoon. Was I supposed to miss you?" he asked, curiously. He had a feeling something was up. For her to ask a question like that. He shrugged and went back to his food.

Mel scowled, Men honestly!
"Bella your very good at being on the spot. Be a little creative. I'll give you free reign if he asks you okay?" She said, laughing.
"Hello Sam" She smiled, slipping into the seat next to Bella. "How could you not miss this one?"Insensitive prat, She thought to herself and grudgingly turned to Bella.
"Fine missy. You win." But she couldn't resist adding, "But you were wishing I won weren't you?"

Bella wanted to kiss Sam there and then when he said that he hadn't missed her. Instead she just kissed him on the cheek and smirked at Mel. "Yes I do win," she said with a small apologetic smile. Hearing Mel's last comment Bella shrugged her shoulders trying to look indifferent, "Maybe. But honestly I think the only time he misses me at all is possibly at night." When she looked at Sam's confused face, she realised she owed him an explanation. "Mel had a feeling that you would be missing me since you hadn't seen me all day and I was out by the forbidden forest. So I bet her 6 sickles that you hadn't missed me and you've just won me six sickles."

Sam smiled at Mel as she walked up, his smile confused. "Hey Mel." He still had no idea what was going on. His eyes widened as Mel passed Bella some sickles. Then he looked at Bella, wanting an explanation. When he got it, he was still slightly confused as to why they'd made the bet, but the meaning of the asking him if he missed her and the money changing hands, became clear. "Well babe. I'm glad I could help advance your gambling career." He leant in closer so his mouth was at her ear. "And, for the record, I always miss you," he whispered so only she could here. He kissed her neck softly, then came back up, and focussed on his food again. Her neck tasted soooooo much better than his food!

The table at which we eat food....not each other" She gave Bella a quick hug and waived to Sam. "Cya's" Before strolling across the room to the Gryffindor table.

Bella blushed as Sam said a gambling career, "It was just this once. Well, okay so maybe I've gambled more then once, but..." she trailed off not finding a way to finish the sentence. She felt his mouth by her ear and froze as he whispered something and then looked at him. "Right, remind me never to bet that again. Cause I have a feeling I'll lose next time." As he kissed her neck, Bella shut her eyes and bit her lip, his kisses felt so good on her neck but then he stopped. "Oops sorry Mel," she said apologising. "But Boys taste so good." Smiling she gave Mel a hug and waved as she walked back to her own table. "Well that was nice," she said before putting some food on her own plate.
