"Lovey, I'm sure she cares. If she didn't care why did she...." She stopped, unsure of how to phrase her next line, "see you in the first place? Surely there had to be something." Amelina smiled, sympathetically.
"Raven, love. What you need now are friends...there are a lot of people in this." She said, she knew Raven wouldn't understand.
"Look, love. Stop crying, it'll only make you feel worse. Maybe she'll realise that Kelly isn't right for her....and then who know's what will happen...yeah?" She smiled.

"I rather doubt it.. she can't see that her girlfriend is a freaking psycho who attempted to cast an unforgivable curse on me.. but I suppose you're right" Raven said, wiping her tears away.
"I don't have many friends..in the 4 years I've been here..I haven't made many friends" She said, looking down.

Amelina eyes opened in alarm, the fact she was older made her go into over-protective mode.
"She did what?" Amelina asked, her voice cold and edgy.
"C'mon love! What do I look like?" She asked softly. She gave her a one-armed hug.
"There are heaps of people that your friends with. Bella, Andrew, me! And there must be heaps of other people queuing up to be your friend" She said, a small smile framing her face.

Amelina sighed.
"You can't keep beating yourself up about this." She was glad she'd stopped crying, now only her red cheeks and wet eyes were tell-tale signs.
"Honey. You have friends, that care for you. Pushing them away and pretending they don't exist isn't going to help" She said, softly.

Amelina smiled, mission accomplished. Raven looked better.
"Don't let either of them get to you, alright hun?" She laughed slightly.
"Good. Use them, friends are the best defence you have...I'd lie low of Andrew for a while." She said, with a small laugh.

Wincing she attempted to extract herself from a sticky situation,
"Why?" Curiosity killed the cat Amelina. Amelina cursed herself.
"I mean....what happened?" Are you stupid or are you stupid?. She snapped her mouth shut, not wanting to wreck any more havoc.

Amelina frowned.But why the smirk?. She pulled a strand of hair back from her face, an inner battle raging inside her. Ofcourse she'd heard, or really she didn't need to hear. Andrew had been acting like a ghost of his usual self. She sighed, she couldn't believe it. Andrew loves Raven, Raven loves Danika, Danika loves Kelly. The ring went around in her head several times. She sighed looked Raven straight in the eye.
"But why won't you talk to him? You said you couldn't handle yourself around him?" Amelina asked softly, hoping it didn't seem intruding. Satisfaction brought the damned cat back as well....

"Come on. Let's go to the bathrooms and get you cleaned up, the bell for dinner should ring soon." She helped her up.
