Andrew heard someone behind him and spun around tense. He sighed with relief as he saw it was Raven. He tensed up again but not for the same reason. He noticed she had changed from the happy self she once was and a pang of guilt shot through him. He didn't smile when he saw her like he usually did, he just looked...resigned.

"Hey..Andrew...why did you want to talk to me?" She asked, straightening her hair out. She already was messing things up.

Andrew smiled as he saw her straighten out her hair and shook his head. Focus. He took a deep breath, staying his ground and said in once breath. "Raven, I wanted to talk to you because I.... You don't have to choose anymore. I care about you deeply, you know that. But it kills me every time I see you because you're sad and I know it's all my fault." He looked at the ground and back up at Raven, his will falling but he was going to do this. He hated to see her this way and because of him. "I'm sorry. I never wanted you to be like this. I only wanted to see you happy..and...well...I'm sorry for being such a git and not realizing that maybe you'd be happier if you didn't have to choose between us." He swallowed and looked into her eyes, he still cared about her, for her, and it was taking an extreme amount of will on his part right now. So much so that he was sure it radiated from him.

"Andrew..there's no need to waste your breath apoligizing to me.. its not your fault that I've become like this..its my own fault" Raven said, looking at Andrew, not really showing any emotion at all.

Andrew frowned slightly, "But..." He thought she would have been happy that he told her she didn't have to choose anymore. He stepped closer to her and whispered, "I don't care that you've changed the way you dress or the way you where your makeup and stuff. I care...that you now seem depressed and unhappy." He gripped her hands, "I only want to see you happy."

"I'll be alright..its just something I need to work through on my own" Raven said, smiling a little bit. She was starting to feel a lot better and wondering why she looked like a goth.

Andrew smiled as he saw her smile a little bit. The first smile he had seen on her in days. "I'm worried about you Raven and I would have given anything to talk to you before but you told me you needed time and space. I'm not sure that's the best though. Being alone with one's thoughts....I should know..." he trailed off and looked at the ground. He looked back up at her, "You know...I have changed. In obvious ways and ways you don't know about." Yea...like he had stopped sleeping around with other girls.

"Oh? In what ways have you changed Andrew?" She asked, genuinely curious. Her thoughts were starting to return to normal and she was feeling better.

Andrew smiled, "Oh well I study more. I don't goof around nearly as much as I used to. I've grown." He smirked and then his smile fell. Should he tell her? Sighing he looked at her, "When we first started getting reacquainted I was seeing some...girls. It was a stupid thing I started to take my mind off of Bella and..maybe make her jealous. It was stupid. But when I realized I started having feelings for you...I stopped. I didn't want to be the one to hurt you because of my stupidity." Though it looked like he failed anyway.

"So, you've finally grown up huh?, well I'm surprised..I thought that you'd goof around a lot more this year and so far you've proved me wrong" Raven said, smirking. Her face fell a little bit when she heard about Andrew with some other girls when they were getting reaquainted. "Well, its good to hear that you realized what you were doing wasn't good at all"

Andrew smirked, "Maybe it's the bloody Prefect badge. Ruined all my fun. Now I have to be 'responsible'" He saw her face fall and stepped closer wrapping his arms around her and whispered, "Raven, I didn't know...I didn't know I would come to care about you so much. I'm sorry."

"Why is it that when I think I have things figured out, someone has to tell me something that makes things harder for me?" Raven said, she wasn't happy with the fact that she was just finding out about this now.

Andrew frowned he could tell she wasn't happy and he was really tempted to point out that she kept Danika a secret too but knew that argument wouldn't go well. He looked at her, "Raven, you asked me how I changed. I wanted to tell you because I don't want any secrets between us. I didn't want to make it harder..but I don't want to keep secrets from you. Especially since we've both been hurt too many times." He swallowed and looked in her eyes, "What did you have figured out?"

Andrew's heart swelled slightly as she said who she liked more. There was still hope and that's all he wanted to know. He looked at her and with his hand tilted her head up to look at him. "You know where I stand. I'm not going to hurt you again." He leaned down and kissed her softly as he wrapped his arms around her.
