Megan's Irish Palace

Megan took the necklace and smiled, looking at it. She put it on and she absolutely loved it. "Thank you Bella, its so beautiful" She said with a smile, taking a sip of her butterbeer. She put her guitar up on its stand for the time being.

Watching as Megan put it on, Bella smiled happily. She was right, the necklace defintiely matched her. "You're welcome. I have tons of stuff from Italy, and believe me half of it goes out to my friends because they'd never suit me." She shrugged her shoulders and took a mouthful of pumpkin juice. It did help having an aunt in the fashion industry.

"That's cool, so you're Italian huh? What is it like in Italy?" She asked curiously because she had never been there before, she took another sip of butterbeer, and checked her makeup in her compact.

"Yup," Bella said proudly. She couldn't help being proud of her heritage, it was what made her her, and because of what Sam had been saying recently she was careful not to compare herself. "It's amazing. I mean there are different parts to Italy. Amelina in Gryffindor is from the south of Italy, but I'm from the north. Near Milan and Naples."

"Oh cool, so what was it like growing up there?" She asked curiously. She was considering going to Italy for a vacation after she saw her family in Ireland.

"Well I grew up in both Italy and England," Bella explained. "Every holiday whether it was just for a week or for 6 weeks, we'd go to Italy to see my mum's family. It's great. There's the coast with beaches and the sea if you go near there. Or there's the shopping centres if you go into the centre of Milan."

"Oh, it sounds really nice!" She exclaimed, taking another sip of her butterbeer. Well now she was interested in going to Italy, so she was going to write to her parents and ask them if she could go.

"Nice doesn't do it justice," Bella said remembering the places she had recently visited. She was meant to have gone over for a few days over the holidays but since she was with Sam she was excused. Maybe I could take him there some day "You have to go there to experience the culture, the music, the sights, and the fashion."
God the fashion was the one thing she missed, which was why she was thankful a selection of clothing was sent over to her every few months. In return though, she did have to say which pieces she thought were the best and why. It was like homework from her aunt, although she liked doing that type of homework.

"That's what I miss most about Ireland is the music and the culture, but I went back for the holidays to go and see more of my family" She said. "I mean being born in such a huge wizarding community was awesome, because I didn't feel like an outcast. I lived in Kilkenny for 15 years before my parents decided to send me here" She said, shaking her head.

"You do, but when you back to visit, you relish in the stuff a lot more," Bella said finishing her drink. Her music was more latin or folk songs, but they were lovley to dance to. "Being in a wizarding community definitely helps when you're growing up and you can't control your powers," she laughed remembering the garden she had almost destroyed when she was young. "It's better here though, because you meet people from a wider range of communities." They now had students from Durmstrang, Ireland, and Beauxbatons to name a few places.
