"Oh really?" Bella asked hearing that the dungeons were being explored, honestly there were so many dungeons she wasn't sure what was in half of them anymore. "Find anything interesting? Or valuable?" Either one was good, but if it was valuable they'd probably have to give it over to Kildara.

"Well, I found a torture chamber which hadn't been used in ages, I was locked in there by Slytherin 1st years, they thought that it was hilarious. I was absolutely shocked at what I had seen in there. If you're interested, I could take you down there just to show you exactly where I found it. I'm not sure if Kildara knows about that though." Astrid said, biting her lip softly.

Edwin had been less then amused by the fact his new common room was in the dungeons, the same location as his old house in Durmstrang. Naturally, he didn't exactly feel comfortable down in his common-room, so he fell back on old habits and made his way to the Towers. Back at Durmstrang, the Towers had been Ehrenadler territory, and the closest thing to a safe place next to Professor Cortez' office the school had to offer. How many times he'd fled to hide within the cold, dark rooms of the towers was beyond his ability to count.
Leaning against a wall, Edwin glanced out a window to eye the grounds. One thing he had to hand to Hogwarts, it was an incredible castle. The architecture alone astounded him; there were so many details and carvings everywhere. Not only that, it was brighter and warmer then Durmstrang had ever been, and its grounds were far more extensive. After a moment of eying them, Edwin realized with a jolt that the window was open.
He didn't know what possessed him to do it, but the next thing he knew he was standing out on the ledge and clambering up onto the roof for a better view. The slant had been extremely steep, but he'd made it and the view was totally worth it. The lake stretched out and sparkled brightly under he weak November sun, while the mountains and trees of the surrounding forest crouched around it in various states of greenery and color.
The wind picked up for a moment, catching at his clothes and reminding him of the dangers of falling. Crouching down, he took a seat and leaned back, deciding not to worry on how he was getting down so long as the sun was up. It was actually quite warm on the roof.
Laying back, Edwin tucked his hands behind his head and watched as people went about their business on the grounds, seeming small from this height, before distracting himself with a far more interesting view. Thestrals flew up above the forest at one point, something he knew he would not have seen from ground level. He smiled softly, letting his eyes fall shut as the sun danced over him.
It had been two days since he had slept, and before then he had not slept very well. It was small wonder then, that perched atop a roof with no threat of someone finding him and finally feeling relatively safe for a change, that Edwin fell asleep.

She'd never been up here. Heard about it, yes. But she'd never been to inclined to go up to the tower. Heights.....she'd always loathed flying. Of course people had told her it was safe, but was being on a flint of wood hundreds of metres up in the air reckless or exhilarating? What if you fell? Gah. She sighed and stepped anxiously onto the last step the small expanse of stone slightly comforting to the large drop by the open window.
She swallowed hard, leaning apprehensively against the stone. She slid down it, hoping for some peace. The dungeons were inhabited these days it seemed and everywhere in the castle seemed to have people lurking. She just wanted to be alone. In the quiet. By herself. With no one sleeping on the roof beside.
Oh for the love of god.....
She lept up, the soft exhaling from the human (it was human right?)was slightly frightening when she thought she'd been alone. Angling herself, she stood on tip toe looking out the window. She wouldn't take a step forward if her life depended on it. She realised slowly it was someone she knew......or had begun to know...had met was a closer description of the truth. Their rather reserved....almost hostile meeting hadn't brought any real comfort to her. She still thought he was something else and rather intimidating. Taking a step back from the window just as she felt the gust of wind from the window and let out a shaky, rather loud yelp. She was stuffed. She didn't want to move forward....Stupid idiots didn't put glass on these damned windows! If someone fell through.... and if she moved back.....I thought these places were deserted! Her pride ran deep, and overuled her other inhibitions, her feet planted firmly on the floor she glared rather poised at the open window. Precisely why she had not done astronomy. Wringing her hands every soft breeze making her heart increase pace she tried to find some peace in watching the lake 50 ft underneath her.

The sound of a yelp jerked Edwin from his sleep in a fast and violent manner. Sitting up swiftly, he rose up on one knee and pulled out his wand, brain fast reminding him of where he bloody well was when his entire body swayed from the odd angle.
Hissing with slight surprise and a mild panic, Edwin regained his balance and crouched, looking around. With a jolt, he saw Dani through the tower window. He couldn't see if anyone was with her, but he was fairly certain it had been her shout that had awakened him.
Moving quickly, Edwin slid from the roof to the outcropping before the window and ducked quickly. Raising himself he peered through the window and found that aside from Dani the tower was empty - unless her company was pressed right against the wall in mirror to himself.
Considering it unlikely for some reason, Edwin jumped back in through the window. He did it quickly though, just in case there was someone there. Finding her to actually be alone, e slid his wand back into his pocket.
"So we meet again." He stated, a slow smile making its way across his features. "You alright?" He asked, wondering what had made her call out.

Dani was almost shaking when he burst through the window, sighing edgily and nodded, "Mmh...this castle is over-populated" She muttered, smiling slightly. His question brough her back and she looked at the window, gulping. "F...f...fine" She answered staring straight past him as if to distract herself from the open window. A small breeze blew through and she stiffened her face contorting in pain.
