Megan muttered the password to the common room and walked in, looking around. It wasn't as nice as what she had at home, but it would have to do. She walked over to one of the couches and sat down, crossing one leg over the other.

Things may be different now, but of course I could never expect things to be the same.

Ezekiel said the password and walked into the common room, expecting to find it empty, but finding a girl he'd not met in there. He frowned. He knew basically everyone. He didn't know her. He walked over to her, and sat on the couch next to the one she was on.
"Hi. I don't think we've met. Ezekiel Bishop. And you are?" he asked, holding out his hand, an endearing smile on his face. She was pretty. He'd have definately remembered her if he'd met her.

"Megan O'Reilly, pleasure to meet you" She said in her thick Irish brogue, and smiled softly, extending her hand to shake his. Well, at least the school seemed a lot more interesting now that she met a gorgeous guy. She seemed to be able to live with this school now, for a certain reason.

Things may be different now, but of course I could never expect things to be the same.

Ezekiel smiled as he heard her accent. "It's lovely to meet you, Megan. So, you're Irish, right? You're new here aren't you? I'm sure I haven't met you. I would have remembered you if I had," he said, his smile reaching his eyes, and showing his perfectly straight white teeth. "Are you a transfer?"

"Yes, I am Irish, I was born in Kilkenny, Ireland where I live for pretty much all my life, but I just moved here towards the end of last term, so I am a transfer student" She replied, answering all his questions in one simple answer. She smiled softly, god he was absolutely gorgeous, maybe being a Hufflepuff wouldn't be so terrible after all.

"Well, Hogwarts is much different than what I'm used to back home, the school I used to go to was not as nice as here, but I've come to adjust to this." She said and smirked as she heard him call her Miss Irish, that was something she had never heard before.

Ezekiel laughed. "This place? Nice? It's old and needs a clean. Although, Professor Snape seems to be getting on top of that. The house elves have been working over time to get the castle up to her standards. Mind you, I don't know what she's talking about standards for. 5 years on the grubby floor in a cell in Azkaban can't be very 'standard'," he said, shrugging his shoulders. He didn't like Professor Snape that much.

"I knew about Professor Snape, my parents were sent to Azkaban as well, but they were released within 2 years. The only thing I don't like, its I've got people from both sides trying to persuade me to join and I'm extremely useful for both, I just haven't decided which side to join" She said and rolled her eyes.

Ezekiel shrugged. "Do you have to chose? I haven't. I think both sides have good aims. Just different ways of acheiving them. Anyways, how did this lovely conversation turn to such a morbid subject. What classes are you taking?" he asked. He didn't like talking about the sides. His parents were pressuring him to join Kildara. They'd served under her before. Admired her. Now he was old enough, he wasn't so sure.

"I'm taking Astronomy, History of Magic, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and I'm thinking about taking Arithmancy but I'm not sure." She said and smiled. Her thoughts of Ceallach were drifting away for the time being but they would probably be back later.
