Zach and Aidan walked onto the Quidditch Pitch. Looked liked they were just in time for the start of the lesson. They were carying school brooms; Aidan had shrugged when he saw the notice. It was too bad that they couldn't use their own brooms, but as long as he was playing Quidditch, he didn't mind too much.
Zach swung the school broom in disgust. It was bad enough that their father had decided that the new Firebolt model was too expensive until they knew if they were on the house team. And now he couldn't even use his older Firebolt. This school broom had better perform well.

Mel walked onto the pitch, spotting the boy she'd met in Fortescue's. Moving towards the school brooms, she scowled.
"It amazes me they get off the ground" She said laughing.

Magesta nodded with a smile, "Yes, Ms. Peters a surprise." She nodded a greeting toward the three people that arrived and looked toward the twins carrying the school brooms. "You can just set those brooms down off to the side boys." She kneeled down in front of the large box and looked up with a smile, "I have here..." She opened the box to reveal the brand new firebolts engraved with the students last name on the handle, "Your new class brooms. There is one for everyone in this class and they have your last names on them. And, yes, Mr. McDougall you can use them during your Quidditch practices and matches."
She looked up and grinned at the students, "Before you come get these though...there are a few rules. No one aside from the person it is issued to may use them, it has a special charm on it to prevent the use by others. And they must be returned to me at the end of class and whenever you finish using them. Any breaking of these rules will make you lose the broom and you get to use those," She pointed toward the two brooms that the twins had put off to the side. "Agreed?"

Bella watched as the box opened and then gasped when she saw the firebolts inside. "Oh wow Professor they're wonderful," she said amazed. "So this is what you were doing in the Quidditch store." She shook her head, knowing that her broom hadn't needed replacing already after only a term's use. She listened to the rules and smiled, there was no way she was going to use anyone else's broom considering that hers was just as good as the others. "Yes professor," she said, impatient to test the new brooms, she hadn't flew all holidays.

Danika's eyes widened as Professor Lockwood revealed the brooms, all engraved with their names. She shot a glance at Sam, who nodded, a bright smile on his face. This was the upgrade to Danika's broom, the same one as Sam's. Her face lit up, and she took a step closer, never having been so happy to use a cschool broom.

Ceallach smiled at everyone's reactions to the brooms. Yes, she was excited about it, but obviously not as excited as everyone else. She smirked. Her old school was still stuck on old Nimbuses. And, Hogwarts was on new Firebolts. No match.

Zach stared in astonishment at the gleaming new Firebolts. This was just... incredible. He reached out and picked up the broom with his name engraved on it. It felt so light. The balance seemed perfect. All the twigs were straight and evenly trimmed. He ran his fingers down the handle. Smooth as satin...
"Sheesh, you two want to be alone, bro?" Aidan said with a grin, as his twin caressed the broom lovingly. Yeah, he was delighted with the new brooms, but not to that extent!

Mel grinned watching the new school brooms. Professor Lockwood was awesome. Laughing she gave the other twin an odd look, "Right there?" She said with a smirk.

Then he realized that Mel was talking to him, and snapped out of it. He grinned. "Yeah, I'm just blown away that we have the new Firebolts as our school brooms. Have you flown one before? Magesta smiled as she heard and saw everyone's reaction. "Now, come get your brooms and stand over there," she said pointing to the middle of the pitch. "We're just going to get a feel for the new brooms today and get used to them before we start doing any harder things." She stepped back and with a wave of her hand summoned her own broom. She watched as her own firebolt flew toward her and she grabbed it out of the air as she watched the students collect their brooms.
