Krysta turned back to her breakfast with a grin but frowned when she felt the familiar hot spot on the back of her neck. Someone was watching her. She quickly scanned the room to see who it might have been. Her lips pursed into an annoyed expression when her eyes fell on Daniele. She rolled her eyes and turned back to her plate. The girl already had it in for her and they hadn't even met yet. Well hat was her problem in Krysta's opinion. It wasn't her fault that Sebastian had turned her down all those years ago. Jeez, why didn't the girl just get over it instead of looking for someone to take it out on? She chewed her toast thoughtfully, wondering if Daniele would try to come between her and Sebastian. Well one thing was for sure: if she tried she was in for one hell of a shock.

Alycya walked up to the Gryffindor Table and sat down beside Mel. She started piling food on her plate. She was famished. Turning to the girl beside her, she smiled. "Hel Mel," she said, cheerfully. "How are you?" Mel smiled, "Evening." She said softly, pouring herself a glass of pumpkin juice. "Good" She said, amazed someone could be cheerful after the amount of homeowkr they'd gotten. "How've you been?"

Alycya smiled, shrugging her shoulders. "Good good. How about all this homework! Really laying it on thick this term!" she said, her mood dropping a little, but she shrugged it off. She'd get it all done anyways.

Krys practically dragged Ceal into the Great Hall and made a beeline for the Gryffindor table. Wincing a little as she lifted her aching legs over the bench and under the table she rubbed her hands together excitedly as she saw all the food before her. "Gimme, gimme, gimme." she said to herself as she began piling sausages and mashed potatoes onto her plate. It was exactly what she needed. Her bloodcount was dangerously low and this was the best way to raise it again. As she put the first forkful into her mouth she sighed with content and winked at Ceallach.

Ceallach let herself be dragged into the Hall by a ver y desperate Krysta, watching her as she sat on the bench. Ceallach swung her own legs over the bench, sitting down. She was hungry before, but now the food was actually in front of her, she was famished. She started piling her plate with loads of vegetables, and servings of all the chicken dishes. Lately, she'd craved red, juicy steaks, but had to restrain herself. Ceallach, the human, didn't eat steak. She didn't eat red meat. Eating meat altogether wasn't a choice. Ceallach, the tiger, craved it. She was partly animalistic in her eating of steaks, prefering to knaw on it, instead of cutting it. She shuddered at the aftertaste she experienced. Made her sick just thinking about it. She heard Krysta sigh beside her, pulling her out of her reverie, and she smiled, returning Krys' wink. She put the first forkful in her mouth, and mirrored Krysta's sigh. God, food was good right now.

Krys watched Ceal load her plate with healthy vegetables and chicken and then looked down at hers which was full of starch, fat and salt. She grimmaced. He Mother would have given her a real earful. She had always imposed the importance of eating well. She placed her cutlery down and stared at the potatoes longingly for a few seconds. You nearly died today. This isn't a game anymore. It's time to step up. She closed her eyes, knowing the voice inside was right. Reluctantly she waved her hand over her plate and her eyes became dispairing as the food disappeared leaving her plate clean. She began loading it with vegetables and some chicken breast, allowing herself a small amount of gravy. She sighed and began to eat again. It wasn't that bad. But the voice could go to hell if it thought she wasn't having chocolate pudding afterwards.

Amanda headed into the Great Hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table, fixing her robes before she started to get something to eat. She got some chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy, and started to eat slowly. Something was definately up with her since she hadn't been feeling good the past few days and had only been eating a little bit. She saw Ceallach there and another girl that she hadn't met before, she didn't really pay much attention after that and continued eating.

Krysta ate slowly. Her jaw hurt when she chewed and she absently rubbed it, trying to massage it away. She grimmaced a little as she felt the invisible bruise beneath the glamour. Bloody Morlock, she thought to herself, glad that no one could see the damage. She reached for the flaggon of pumpkin juice and gasped as a sharp pain went through her shoulder. She retrieved her arm and smiled at the girl who had just sat down. "Excuse me, could you pass the juice, please?" she asked forcing a smile. She wasn't used to feeling helpless and didn't like it very much.

"Of course" Amanda said, then passed the girl the pumpkin juice. "I don't believe we've met before, the name's Amanda Lesalle, 6th year, transfer student" She said then smiled. Course she chose to be polite this time since she obviously hadn't met this girl before, but there were a few occassions where she had to address someone very impolitely, even going so far as cursing them several times which at the time was completely hilarious.,

Krysta smiled and took the jug, pouring herself something to drink. "Thanks. I'm Krysta, nice to meet you. I've seen you around, but never got introduce myself." she confessed. "Where did you transfer from?" she asked. "You sound Canadian." she commented.

"Well, I'm from Canada. You're the first person who's identified my slight Canadian accent correctly" She said and smiled. "I tranferred from a private witchcraft academy in Ottawa, Ontario. So far, I like it here at Hogwarts a lot better than I liked it at my old school" She added.

Krys took a mouthful of juice and nodded. "My Great Uncle's from Quebec. I'm kind of used to the accent. Did everyone else think you were American?" she asked with a grin. She knew most Canadians hated being mistaken for American. "What was your school like then? Hogwarts is pretty good, I have to admit. We've had a couple of Irish transfers recently..." she began nodding at Ceal with a grin. "They say the rules aren't as harsh here. And the lads from Durmstrang think this place is a palace compared to that dump. The students from Beaubaxtons aren't too impressed, though. They think Hogwarts is shabby." she explained with another grin.

"Anyone I've spoken to hasn't been able to recognize the accent, which is pretty funny to tell them that its Canadian" She said then laughed. "I've met one of the Irish girls already, Ceallach, I think she's pretty cool." Amanda said and smiled. "Oh my old school was absolutely terrible, it was so strict, we weren't allowed outside unless it was for classes or sending an owl and we could only spend our free time in the library which was pretty boring after a while" She said, then rolled her eyes.

Ceallach heard her name and looked up from her plate. "Wha?!" she said stupidly. "Oh, hey Amanda. How are you love?" she said with a smile, trying not to laugh at herself. She looked back to her plate, eating slowly, trying to savour every taste, hoping the sustainance went to every part of her body. The bath had done wonders, but her muscles needed food.

"Not good actually, I haven't been feeling good the past few days and I cannot figure out what's wrong with me" She said, and played around with the food on her plate, a painful wave hit her stomach and she winced slightly.
