Liz laughed lightly and rolled her eyes. Honestly men were always the same, though that's what made them men. She wondered why Caitlyn would want to see Simon and thought about asking, but decided against it. Why waste a perfectly good night? "Okay," she said deciding that she'd carry it back whether he wanted her to or not. She smiled and took the arm that was offered to her. "Only if you're sure you haven't got any other reason to be late to the unicorns," she teased.

Simon chuckled.
"No we better go. They might not be as forgiving as you." he teased her. He began leading her towards the forest eventually disappearing into the trees.

Simon apparated the three of them back to the Paddock. It was the closest he could get to the castle because of the apparation restrictions. He let go of Kit's waist but kept his arm around Liz's protectively.
"Are you two alright?" he asked, glancing at Kit before looking intently at Liz.
"I'm fine., but Simon we can't just leave her there like that." protested Kit.
"We didn't have any choice she was gonna change. The best thing for her was to just let her ride it out." Kit looked like she was going to protest, but she bit her lip and clenched her fists.
"I'm sorry about al of this. She said she was going to show me something nice and apparated us both into the forest. It was pure chance we saw you guys." she explained apologetically. Simon nodded and gave her a look that said it was alright. "Ok. Well...I'm going to patrol the edge of the forest and make sure no one wanders in there. You should take Liz inside." she said, giving Liz a sift smile.
Simon watched her walk off and then turned to Liz.
"I'm so sorry Elizabeth. Our evening's kind of been ruined now. Are you sure you're alright?" he asked with deep sincerity. He felt deflated. They'd been having such an amazing time and then this had happened.

Liz had almost screamed as Emilia started changing, but was thankful as Simon apparated all of them out. Looking around her she realised she was back in the paddock. "I'm okay," she said trying to hide the shake in her voice. She was just scared that she could have lost either Kit or Simon.
She listened to both of them talking and took a few deep breathes calming herself down. They were out of the forest and they were all safe. Even Emilia wouldn't come onto the actual grounds in her werewolf form. "It's not your fault Kit, no one knew that she was going to take you to the forest, and no one knew she'd react that way," she said returning the smile.
"It hasn't been ruined. It's just be changed a little," Liz said looking at him. Seeing that he was still upset she put her arms around his neck. "Look. I'm not hurt, Kit's not hurt and you're," she looked down at his arm and saw that it was still bleeding slightly, "hurt. Come on, if you still have cake in your office we'll go there and I'll heal your arm."

Simon smiled with relief. Liz did seem to be absoutely fine, just a little startled by the whole thing.
"Now that sounds like a plan. Chocolate cake sounds good and I suppose, yes, this needs patching up." he nodded looking at his hand. He'd forgotten abot his wound to be honest. He;d been so focused on getting them out of there that adrenalin had numbed the pain. But now he'd calmed down it really stung.
"Let's get inside then." he agreed, taking her hand and leading her towards the castle.
