The Courtyard

Annie laughed and looked down at the book, "well it seems they really couldn't spell back than" she laughed again, "or they didn't have an editor person before they published"

Alyssa walked down to the courtyard hoping for some sun, so far there was barely any. She looked around the room and saw a bench with some sunlight shining on it. Why did they have to come to London? it felt like the coldest place on earth. She sat down and closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of sunlight on her face. She just wanted to be home, well this was her home now. That completely sucked. She wanted to be home by the beach like before.

Jazmyn was walking back up to the castle, through the courtyard, sick of constantly moving as the sun did. She saw Alyssa and sighed. "Hey sis," she said, shifting her little sister over on the bench so they could share the sunlight. This was better than the s**tty sun out on the grass. "I'm so sick of this," she muttered darkly.

Juliette opened her eyes and looked up at her sister, "hey Jaz" she said smiling and moving move for her sister. "I'm sick of it too" she said with a sigh, "I want to go back to the beach!" she whinned and put her legs in front of her, "I won't be able to kept this tan at this rate."

Jazmyn nodded, stretching out her own legs in front of her. They were slightly longer than her sisters, and a little browner. But, they could pretty much guarantee, they were both the brownest in the school. "I know exactly what you're saying. And I want some real sun. This is pitiful," she said, stretching out her bronzed arms in front of her. "If this tan starts to fade, I'm apparting home," she said, finally. "Why England?"

Alyssa let out a frustated sigh. They sounded like spoilt brats but she couldn't help it! the sun sucked here. She nodded in agreement when she talked about a real sun, hard to believe it was the same one everywhere and they got so little of it here. "If you appart you're taking me with you!" she said. "England because dad said so. We didn't get a choice did we?"

"Oh don't worry. I won't leave you here to suffer. I don't know where we'd go. Maybe we'd be able to stay at Jake's," Jazmyn shrugged, wincing slightly at the thought of asking Jake if they could stay at his place. Oh yeah! Well done Jaz. Just go and ask your ex if you can live with him. Oh and your sister too! Stupid "Stupid dad. I already hate it here. Hopefully the guys here are good. Take my mind off it a bit," she groaned. "This is ridiculous."

"Yeah talking to him would be fun" she muttered and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, you worked out dad was stupid. I hated it the second we got here, so we're on the same page." she said with a sigh, "You weirdo, first thing that comes to your mind is the guys" she said smacking the back of her head softly.

[jazmyn]

"Yeah, shut up. He was the first person that came into my head for some strange reason. I think I miss him. But only because I'm so far away. You know what I mean?" Jazmyn asked, shrugging her shoulders. She only wanted him again because she couldn't get to him. "We're pretty much always on the same page." She chuckled softly, groaning as Alyssa hit her on the back of the head. "Ouch!" she exclaimed. "Yeah, well, not like there's anything else to do here," she groaned. She was bored. Maybe she'd go for a swim. Mind you, the water was probably like ice!

"Yeah, I know what you mean" she nodded, Jazmyn only went them because she couldn't have him anymore. "Yeah almost always" she said drawing out the almost. There were times when they weren't but today they were. "Yeah, true" she agreed, In Australia they could do heaps but here they were locked in the school.

Jazmyn looked up, at the looming dark stone turrets of the castle, then out to the gates. Those large steel gates. "This place is like a bloody prison," she groaned. She'd never whinged so much in her life. She felt so depressed. She wasn't the boucy, bubbly, stereotypical blonde, Jazmyn anymore. She was bored, the horrid weather depressing her. "I'm so over this already."

"We should make the best of this Jaz" she said slowly, "come on, we could have some fun here, while it lasts" she added. "We need to stop whinging and be our normal selves" she said smiling for the first time she had been here. "I'm over it too"

[jazmyn]

"Yeah I know. It's just hard. I'm only here for another 3 terms. Then I graduate. Why I couldn't just stay in Australia I don't know. Stupid dad wanting us all together," Jazmyn said, shrugging her shoulders. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I'm not going to meet any guys to take my mind off it, if I'm depressed," she said, mirroring her sister's smile. She let a small chuckle leave her lips. She was just going to take this change as an opportunity, like she usually did.

Great. "I'm here for another year after you leave" she said sadly, "oh well" she said brightening up. "If you're depressed you won't have any friends either" she added on to her sister. "Well, let the fun begin than!"

[jazmyn]

Jazmyn sighed. "I'm moving back to Aus. You can come stay with me in the holidays. There is no way I'll leave you here by yourself all the time," she said, very big sisterly. "Exactly. Hmmm ... I like fun," she laughed. "Best not to let the depressing weather, and lack of sun get to us."
